KB Gift Cards
Posted on
If you happen to have a gift card(s) from KB Toys it's recommended that you use it/them today. Even though they are in bankruptcy they have decided to stop honoring the cards as COB today. There are some states that forbid a bankrupt business from refusing to honor a gift card.

So check with your state law before dashing out.

Thanks for passing by and passing that along.

Sounds like that should be illegal in all States. They already have that money in the bank.

Yeah, they closed/are closing two stores around me. It's kind of sad, but I wondered how long they could charge $15 for a basic Barbie you could get anywhere else for about half that, or $12 for an action figure you could get for $7 other places. You guys might want to spend your FYE cards, too. They are closing those stores right and left, although I don't know about their financial status. It's kind of sad, all of those jobs gone.

They already closed the store we had in the mall down here. We still have an FYE in our mall, but we never go in. They think waaay to high of themselves. We saw an anime set we wanted there for close to 50.00 that we found for close to 30 at another store.

Princi, that's just it. They can't charge big buck prices and expect that people won't go ANYWHERE else, including online, and get it for less. I think you are 100% correct in the way they view themselves.

name tags

CALIFORNIA -- It'd be nice if your employees wore name tags with actual names on them instead of the universal 'management' tag. I guess anyone can be considered as management even though one has just started.

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

Your company should really invest in name tags that let the customer know who your workers are. It would be easier to distinguish who the managers really are and who to properly direct my questions and comments to while I am in the store. Wearing 'management' tags is just an easy way to get out of complaint and an expense save for your company, and not the customer.
