HUBER HEIGHTS, OHIO -- Sat. 8-24-13, around 3:20 pm, I went out to my 2012 Kia Soul parked on the street, in part-shade, in a residential area of Centerville, OH. The windows were cracked, and the temp outside was in the mid-80's. ... read full review2 Replies - Latest reply on 08/26/2013
Seat Belts Fail in Most Kia's!
FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- I am getting ready to sell my Kia Optima and buy a new car. I have two backseat broken seat belts and a front passenger seat belt that is in the process of breaking. Called to check on recalls. Nothing! ... read full review4 Replies - Latest reply on 11/04/2013
PRESCOTT, ARIZONA -- In my 09 rondo, I hit a curb and blew out a front tire. Kia roadside assistance genius made a long distance telephone decision that it was an "accident", so I had to pay $78 for the tow to have my flat replaced. I appealed by mail per Kia requirements, have never heard back. In addition to other problems with Kia dealer's sloppy service, I will never recommend Kia to anyone, and I try to warn others what they might be getting into.4 Replies - Latest reply on 07/07/2013Add reply
Bait and Switch
KEENE, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I was impressed with the KIA warranty and the 2013 safety reports in the Consumer Digest. During my conversation with the salesman at the Keene, NH KIA I explained that my 2010 Toyota Corolla, though ... read full review3 Replies - Latest reply on 10/07/2013
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS -- We have a 2006 Sedona and experiencing the same problem as other Kia owners. From what I have read, there are a few possible options for the problem, the seat sensor, the belt buckle or the Control Module. If this has been an issue, why has KIA not issued a Recall for the Sedonas like the other models. We have been fortunate with no accidents but one never knows. This is a Major Safety Issue and KIA needs to act now!!!! I own a Toyota Tundra also, and when there is a issue, Toyota steps to take action.

Guess a big difference between how some countries appreciate their customers.
CALIFORNIA -- I bought a Kia five year ago, I miss payment but I catch up some I put toward the end of my loans. To my surprise they call me to let me know that my loan is up, this was a month ago I told the representative I was unable to pay the whole amount. She give me a plan to pay it after paying a 1000 dollars my car was out for repo. When she told me once I pay the 1000 I would have until Dec 2012 to pay off the loan. Now my loan balance is 2000 and I have to pay it by Nov 2012 or it charge off and repo. After making ever effort to pay them.2 Replies - Latest reply on 11/05/2012Add reply
Prices do not agree, the cars are not as promised. For this you drive 100 miles. the promised price for your trade-in is suddenly on the contract $ 3,000 worth less.

So now I know not whether I ever go to a Kia dealer.
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- We brought a 2012 Kia Sedona our second Sedona we loved the first on so we decided to get another. The bad idea was to go to Kia On The Boulevard, our previous dealer went out of business. Since making the purchase in October 2011, we have had to come back four times.

First the radio did not work, took three hours to tell me they did not have it and would have to order it when I did come back for it to be install it took forever.
Now the horn does not work and instead of calling me asking if it was ok to do the oil change which was free they put me to the end of the line. I told them I was stepping and left my cell phone number. This has been the worst car dealer experience ever. My suggestion is don't waste your time. Between the sales people and the administration staff a class in customer service is needed. The customer is not the important factor there.

those fast track places and some I have done myself. So anyway
had check engine light go on, took it in and the dealership
told me the oil pressure blew the filter paper apart and plugged
something up. I can't see oil pressure being more than 50psi
so they drained the oil flushed everything out and good to go right
2 months later 2/23/12 I get a pop and a knocking sound
from the top end. I don't have all my records now. Kia won't cover
it til I have 2 years worth of papers what a joke what if my house burnt down and lost.
How do they know what's wrong just by listening to it, what if its something else. They say from lack of maintenance. Being our only car yes it would be up to date on maintenance. Now waiting for the district manager to call. Lets hope.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Well owning 2 Kia's now and never having a problem with either one I can honestly say that they're a great car. We have to remember anything made by man will fail at some point. Kia's are like any other car you must follow the service schedule. If Kia's were a piece of junk why are they up double digits and the American cars are down. OH! let's not forget the bail out and that is why some of the American cars dealers are up because they can afford to cut the price of their cars. KIa didn't take a bail! So all you out there that haven't seen or looked at the Kia product in the last 5 years wake up and take a look..

GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA -- I'm having a problem with Kia warranty on my car. I have change my oil on a regular base, but between oil changes my oil would be low so I would added more to it. I called Kia on more than one occasion about this problem but nothing was ever done. There was no sign of a leak and now they telling me that there's a lot of soot on the engine. So my engine is shoot and they don't want to replace it. I have no control over where the oil goes and this situation lays in the hands of the manufacture and not the consumer. As for now I'm waiting and researching for help.1 Replies - Latest reply on 10/26/2011Add reply
