Item Never Delivered - No Refund

MARIETTA, GEORGIA -- I ordered Swords from KOS in mid Sept. I never received follow-up emails from them, and only heard from them when I sent them and email from their site which stated I wanted to know where my item was! They would reply each time, that it was back-ordered, or they were waiting to get on, as they do not stock these. On Dec. 9 (3 MONTHS LATER - and STILL had not received them!) I told them I wanted ordered cancelled and Money applied by Dec. 12 or I will submit their names all over the Better Business Bureaus, etc.

DO not ORDER FROM THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Failure to ship products/Poor customer service

MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA -- On September 17,2007 I placed an order for a variety of products with Kingofswords.com. I noted that they charged my credit card two days later on September 19,2007. Since most ethical companies do not hit your credit card until product SHIPS, I assumed that I would receive a shipping notification in the near future. This did not happen. I eventually received a notice that they had RECEIVED my order. I went to their website and utilized the form to request the status of my order. That link DOES NOT FUNCTION.

I then left several e-mails on the site requesting any kind of contact I received none. After some digging, I found that the site is part of a company using the name milleniumempire.com. I contacted that site and received a response stating that my order was held up in customs and they would ship as soon as it cleared.

A MONTH has gone by with no other responses from the company. At this point, they have my money and I have nothing but an uneasy feeling.

Sounds like it's a rip off. Usually you have 30 days to dispute a charge with your Credit Card/ Bank. I'd call now and see if there is anything they can due to help you.

Just so you know, I ordered a sword from them too around the same time you did, and same thing happened to me. I waited three months for them to send it, sent multiple e-mails requesting an update...got nothing. Finally decided to cancel my order and now I have been waiting another -two and a half months- for my refund! Their inefficiency is astounding!

Failure to honor refund

MARIETTA, GEORGIA -- On the 30 December 2006 l placed an online order for some various items from the 'King of Swords', and paid for them with my American Express card. After numerous excuses about the order being held up in customs and being promised the goods would be dispatched the following week and then not receiving them, I contacted them once more and was told one of the items in my order was still not available, I then requested a substitution or a refund. All of this with all of the emails took a total of approx 5 months. I sent them an email on the 1st of may 2007 requesting a refund and was told I would receive it back on my Amex card that was used to pay for the order, and I would get a confirmation email once the refund was processed. I still have not heard from them.

The whole order was held up for 5 months.I have emailed them 4 times and have not received a reply. Amex has refunded my money because l was able to supply the email which promised my refund. Amex said they would chase them for a refund.

I hope this can help. It worked for me. I contacted an attorney and was instructed to write them a letter (certified mail receipt) stating they have 5-days from receipt of letter to refund the money or my next step would be to file a small claims case with The Cobb County Court.They refunded my money.
I recommend everyone do this and if it doesn't work, take them to court. This company is is not honest and needs to be stopped. You can file online with Cobb County in GA.

I would like to add that kingofswords.com is not the New Zealand Company kingofswords.co.nz. I get lots of emails from unhappy customers thinking that I am the same company.
In furture I will direct these people to this site so that they also can add their 3 cents worth.....

Poor Customer Service

I placed two separate orders for my fiance about two weeks ago. The only response I ever received from this site was that they received my order and that it was processing. I waited about 3-4 days to check the status just to see if they had a ship date for me (most sites usually have an approximate ship date.)I sent them a general email just asking how long it takes for one of their products to ship. No answer. I sent them another email checking the status of my order. No answer. I finally grew tired of waiting for a response and shopped with another site. I purchased a sword from that site and that order shipped the SAME DAY the order was placed. So I cancelled my first order with King of Swords via email. No less than ten minutes, I get an email asking for the reason for my cancellation. Lets not forget I still have one order pending with them at this time (you would think they would start on the order they still have of mine and start shipping or responding to my emails. No. They didn't. I had to again send them another email asking for the status of that pending order and said I would give their company the benefit of the doubt and wait, if I did not hear from them in 24-48 hour (like their site states) I would cancel my order.

Again NO RESPONSE!! How incredible. It seems like the only way to get a response from this site is if the subject on the message is CANCEL MY ORDER. The one thing I have to say this company did do expeditiously was that they did charge my credit card right away. Great way to run a business guys!

same thing happened to me! I was charged right away on items not even in stock. have not credited my card and they do not respond to e-mails or phone calls. I had to start a charge dispute with my credit card company and let them handle it!

yeah. 'Till this day, they have never contacted me nor refunded my money. I made a formal complaint with the BBB and they never responded to them either. I've given up! But have learned my lesson.

Yep a similar thing happened to me too with that same company. You think some organization out there would do something about this, shut them down maybe. It's criminal. I am seriously ticked off that they can get away with this.

I purchased an item at the end of February for almost $100, they have never sent my order and it is now almost June. Needless to say I wanted my item really bad. They told me my order was tied up in customs and every time I would inquire by email about my order they would respond with a generic "Your order has been updated to the following status. New status: Order Accepted" I finally got crappy with them and they sent an email basically threatening me. So I cancelled, now they have not refunded my money. DO NOT BUY FROM KING OF SWORDS!!!! I will dispute my order through PAY PAL. King of Swords is not a respectable company. Buy from Swords Swords or True Swords not KING OF SWORDS!!

Hello there floks!! I'm from Ireland and I put a Order with king of swards Back in July 07 and I got my order in the post 2weeks before Christmas 07!! it took a long time and a lot of E-mails and Phone calls that got no Reply back! But I got my order!!

Now iv done a silly move and placed another order in feb 08 still waiting for them to e-mail me or return a call but got notting and I see all of ye saying that they don't send back refunds so I'm kind of stuck with what to do next!! Dose anyone no why they take so long to E-mail back or Refund money?? Its not very fair to us!

Don't ever buy from King of Swords

MARIETTA, GEORGIA -- Did not send my order for over two months now. I emailed 7x, called and left phone messange 2x and no response.
Buyer beware, they will rip you off!!!!!

I hate having people tell me what to do. All you really had to say is that they are slow delivering and their customer service is terrible,as shown by the number of times you contacted them.

Looking at the site, can you not log in and check the status of your order? Have you checked your SPAM folder to see if your order has been canceled? Have you checked your credit card statement?

I don't know who this company is or what they sell, but if you ordered something and haven't received it after waiting two months, and they also are not returning phone calls, there is definitely something shady going on. At the very least, phone calls should ALWAYS be returned. It's called good customer service. There are no excuses at all for companies like these. Thank you for the post and for warning people about this company.

King Of Swords

MARIETTA, GEORGIA -- DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I placed an order over 3 months ago and got the same response as everyone else who has written a review here. No merchandise received, no refund! I have contacted the BBB, the FTC, and the Governors office of consumer affairs in Atlanta. GA and filed complaints with all of them. I would encourage anyone else to do the same. Please take the time to contact this office and stop this company from stealing!
