SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO/COSTA MESA STORE, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a couch at the Costa Mesa location, it was red in the showroom, I ordered Indigo. It showed up the next week as the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on-nothing like the showroom. I called and complained. They told me the pillows need to be broken in-suggested I take off my shoes and jump on them for a while. Are you kidding me? Jump on the couch pillows? The couch was not displayed as a 'slip cover' but that is what was delivered, the slip covers do not fit the pillows are too big and hard as a rock. I asked several times what to do-they say it takes a while to break in-what by the time this couch breaks in it will need to be replaced!!! The so called customer service females were more than rude-obnoxious you-know-whats is what they were definitely not what I call customer service.
They refused to take it back, offered 0 suggestions (other than jumping on the couch) and have lost my business and I am calling all my media contacts-this is how they treat clients in a bad economy??? Maybe Mervyns will have a partner... soon!
PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA -- We bought a whole bedroom set with the warranty. When the set arrived, it SMELLED.. We called Linders, and they said it was the varnish used and to just let it air out. Two weeks later, still smells, a month later, we get someone out to say yes it smells... How smart are they!? Finally 3 months of sleeping on the floor the smell left.
We had to move one of our kids into the other kids room and store the furniture in there with fans going 24/7.
Experience From Hell - I'm Suing!!!
MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA -- This was the first sofa and loveseat that we ever got that wasn't a hand-me-down, from a garage sale, or from a thrift store. We saved and saved to get it, and naturally we were very excited. Everything ... read full review3 Replies - Latest reply on 12/15/2008
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA -- This was my first purchase from Linder's and all was going well until it came time for delivery. First, they told me that I could not have delivery on my scheduled date but after I complained they called back and said they had a last minute "cancellation" and could schedule me for that day. Upon delivery, the moron that delivered it damaged the glass top and when I spoke to his supervisor he told him that it came out of the box that way. This is after I watched him drop the glass! I waited around the rest of the day to get a replacement, and this one was damaged as well!
Do yourself a favor and don't buy from Linder's. Their selection and prices are ok, but that is all.

ANAHEIM HILLS, CALIFORNIA -- Linder's furniture is by far the worst store I have ever dealt with in my entire life! We purchased a bedroom set in December along with a sectional, two leather sofas, one junior bedroom set, and two twin beds. You would think that if you spent that much money you would receive a little customer service. Every one of these items were received after the promised date and to this day we have still not received our bedroom furniture. When we tried to cancel they told us they would charge a 15% re-stocking fee. Re-stocking fee! FOR WHAT??? It's still in China! I hope that whoever reads this will think twice about purchasing ANYTHING from Linder's Furniture and then DON'T!!!2 Replies - Latest reply on 05/01/2007Add reply
Oh where is my couch
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased my couch on December 9, 2006. The holidays caused a slight, but understandable, delay.
A couch was delivered on January 18, 2007, but it was the wrong color (manufacturer error). Linder ... read full review
