RENO, NEVADA -- I bought a Chrysler 300C from Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno in the fall of 2008 and had such an outstanding experience I feel compelled to share it. I buy a new car every five years and this was my first time ever dealing with Lithia. I will certainly be back because the customer service was beyond incredible! I had a superior team of diligent and knowledgeable professionals working with me on my purchase.
Rodney Rivera was my salesman and he was simply amazing! He presented the features and details of each car, inside & out, in an organized and professional manner. He wasn’t pushy or overly aggressive. I told him the specific features I was looking for and he led me directly to the exact cars that met my criteria. He knew the answers to almost all of my questions and if he didn’t know the exact answer, he used his resources to quickly find out. Rodney assisted my decision making process with his vast knowledge, keen insight, and superior customer service skills. His responsiveness and diligence was very refreshing. I have never had such a smooth transaction when buying cars in the past. Rodney advised and educated me on the many options available but ultimately the decision was mine to make. After purchasing my Chrysler 300C, Rodney spent an entire afternoon making sure I knew how each feature of the car worked. I’ve never been treated so well!
I, too, work in an industry (real estate) that has had to adapt to the major changes the Internet has provided our fast-paced technological society. Consumers are more intelligent, more aware, and more sophisticated in today’s day and age. The Internet is a great way to do research and gain preliminary information, however there is no substitute for working with a true professional that has hands-on experience, incredible knowledge, and willingness to implement strategies and resources that reach far beyond the Internet.
The sales team at Lithia certainly provides a “customer-centric” approach that includes superior product knowledge. Wes, the general manager in my transaction, was also a pleasure to work with. He was an integral part of my decision making process. So was Spike, the finance manager. Spike explained the paperwork efficiently and accurately. I enjoyed working with all three gentlemen as they are true professionals. My transaction was very fair and it was refreshing to deal with people who can turn a profit without (and there’s just no better way to put this…) screwing people over. I highly recommend Lithia Jeep of Reno to anyone reading this!

Unethical, Dishonest Dealership!

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO -- I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300 form Lithia of Colorado Springs in 2007. The dealer did not have the color we wanted but acquired a car from somewhere within the state of Colorado.
Prior to our car being delivered we accomplished all the necessary paperwork. We Purchased an optional dealer protection package which included: Heavy duty undercoating, Paint clearcoat, and Interior protection. When we received the automobile we drove it home and was not entirely pleased with the amount of noise coming from the outside, more specifically the road. When we arrived at home my husband got under the car and noticed that there was no undercoat! We notified the dealership the next day and asked to speak to the salesman who dealt with us. We were told that it was his day off. We spoke one of the managers and he informed us that he would take care of it immediately and send somebody to pick up the car and then apologized. I took the rest of the day off and waited and waited. It was getting late so I called the dealer and nobody knew what I was talking about.
Promising to get back with us we waited and waited and waited!!! Another day taken off and another day waisted. I finally got to speak with the general manager and he promised me he would get to it immediately and would "make it good!" My husband asked him what exactly would he do to make it good? He said he would have everything done specified in the package and would refund us the cost of the "package". Well they did put a very thin undercoat and I do not know if they did anything else as far as clearcoat and interior protection. They have yet to refund the cost of the package! Which was a significant amount. They did put a light tint on our side and back windows as a "goodwill gesture"!
In the process they put over 200 miles on my new vehicle which had less than 50 when we received it and have been very indifferent in regards to our feelings and rights as a customer. We feel let down and were lied to. The general manager insulted our intelligence by telling us:
One thing is for sure they did not provide us the service we paid well over a thousand dollars for! And it is quite certain that the whole package was left undone. I advise anybody not to do business with Lithia of Colorado Springs!!!
