3 D Pool Is a Joke !

TORRINGTON, CONNECTICUT -- I bought this new 3D dolphin lagoon pool by Banzai for my granddaughter's birthday. We opened the box and blew up the pool and gave my granddaughter the goggles which were suppose to have made the 3D graphics appear big and real but that is not the case here!

The goggles did nothing to make the dolphin and the turtle look 3D. I tried them on myself and had the very same effect, NOTHING! I paid $25.99 plus tax and believe me, it is not worth a penny! I could have bought a pool for less money and had the same effect as this 3D pool !!!!!!

I think your expectations were perhaps set a bit too high. It's an inflatable pool, it's not going to have the same vivid 3D effects like you would see in a movie theater or anything.

I'd also like to know where you can find a pool for less than $25.99. Mine cost me well over $33k.

A pool for $26? Am I missing something? $26 will buy a halfway decent meal in a restaurant. I don't see how a quality pool, no matter how small, could be had for less than $100. Were the glasses alone $26?

At $26, it's got to be a kids' wading pool-the kind that used to sell for $2-$3 when I was a kid in the 1960's. To a kid's imagination, the creatures could be 3-D.

Out of the box, my Granddaughter went down 3 times and the slide ripped right at the seam. I Paid $23.00 and you can not return this as a damage product?

What Junk

What a piece of junk, it split at the seams of the slide and the pool ramp within the first hour of use. The enclosed patch kit is useless on a seam. There were no kids over 55 pounds using it, or doing anything out of the ordinary. Customer service is absolutely useless as well, especially online. Save your money and your kids the disappointment and buy something else. Shame on you Toyquest for not only making, but actually selling such a poor product.

Another complaint here of a Toy Quest Banzai slide splitting at the seams. Sounds like you spend a lot with these, then torpedoes away- junk within days.

Complaint on water slide

We purchased one of these slides and the holes for the water to go on to the slide were put on the left side instead of the right side of the slide so the water just goes on the ground. Have tried to contact the company but have no luck getting with any one. Would not recommend buy from these people.

Not sure what slide you have, but you can try leaning the sprayers in towards the slide. I bought a few of the cheap ones and had this problem...plus they were tiny and did not last long.

Little Tikes makes a good blower powered water slide. It costs a lot more, but is durable enough to handle adults and will last a long time. My kids (age 2 and 3) have a blast on it, as well as adults. The only con is putting it away.

Very Disappointed

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- Okay this is just down right cruel and misleading. The Soak 'N Splash from Toy Quest is a waste of money. You would think that this company would double check all of its products especially ones intended for kids. The water slide was setup just as the directions stated. We turned on the water andit just came apart right at the seams. Not just a tiny bit, but about a good foot. My kids were very angry to say the least. The customer service is a joke, I could not get anyone to answer the phone or could I leave a message.

I would recommend that everyone stay away from any products this company makes. Total rip off.

I always thought this toy was a danger to the spines of our little ones.

This review reminds me of all the complaints the Banzai waterslide received last summer.

Skye, the expensive Banzai slide is pretty much trash. We went with the Little Tikes version for about 300, and its been great for 2 years now.

For 649 dollars it should hold up but at the end of the day it's still an inflatable water slide, inflatable anything has a tendency to be garbage. I wonder how much this slide cost and if it's comparable.

Do we know which model the OP has(d)? The title says Soak N'Splash. That's the one I saw for $10. Maybe they all have Soak N Splash in the name...

my brother's had one of the larger bonzai backyard inflatable waterslides for several years now, and he and his kids have loved it. his was around 200.00 at the time on clearance.

Not Informed Of 60 Day Warranty

Hello, my name Anthony Cruz. I live in Fresno, Ca. I purchased a waterslide from Toy-R-Us for 544.00 dollars, and before completeing the transaction I asked about the warranty. The gal said "oh, it's 1 year" I was satisfied and made the purchase. five hundred dollars is a lot of money when your not working, but the kids really wanted the slide, so we did it. May 29th 2010,is when we got it didn't use till June 12th. Now I live in Fresno and wheather permitted we used the slide only a few times through June and July. Come Augest we wanted to use it for a party, on Augest 21st, I set it up and it was ready to go and boom!...it ripped a huge hole on the side. The seam tore apart. I contacted the customer service, they said send them e-mail. I sent the receipt, pictures of the damage. They e-mailed back and said sorry, it's past 60 days. I wrote back not understanding what 60 days ment, I said Toys-R-Us said 1 year. they wrote back well Toys -R-Us is wrong it's 2months warranty. I wrote back what kind of scam is this my slide blew up in less then 75 days and we didn't even use iy that much cause of the wheather...they didn't care, I sent them 3 e-mails, they said sorry, but thank you for buying Banzai waterslides good by. I'm pissed what can I do????

Did you get any type of paperwork that says you had a one year warranty? Telling you it's one year verbally, really does not mean anything, it's all about what you have in writing. There are many complaints out there, about this particular waterslide, about how the seams just come apart. Can it be repaired, since it's only the seam?

You know the best way to screw with these jerks? Go back to toyrs R us, and see if they have the same slide. Purchase it, bring it home, and put the defective slide in the box and return it. Voila! If they want to screw you, the only way to get back at them is screwing them back! Ive done that a few times already.

Poorly made products, Useless warranty, bad Customer service

I bought the kids a Wipeout Curve waterslide last year. The kids both 6 & 8 and both under 100lbs. They used the slide for the three summer months of 09. The slide was dried and put away. Went to take the slide out this year and it will not hold enough air to keep it inflated when the kids were on it. We looked the slide over and a majority of the seams are coming apart and the fabric seems to be "Cheap". I e-mailed the company and was told only a two month warranty. I called them and they were the rudest people that I have had to deal with in my opinion. I called them again today because they were too busy a week ago to talk to me and asked for my number to call me back but one week later no call. So here I am stuck with a $650 slide and no way to use it. I could have used the money to buy a season pass for the family for the pool. I would not and will not recommend this company for any purchases. Hopefully another company makes these type of slides and I can do business with them. No more TOYQUEST for me.

I'm very disappointed in your products, Your pictures on the box are very deceiving and misleading to the parent and child purchasing the product, I'm a childcare provider and parent and care a great deal for the children I have and care for and the way your company misrepresents your products is disgusting and just simply dishonest, My six year old son comments once the Cannon Ball slide was set up and said Mom when I grow up I won't be this mean to kids, I will make a slide better than this and make kids smile not cry. What does this say about you. I'm even more disappointed at your customer service department, no body answered the phone after listening to repeat messages for 10min, and then was hung up on, I couldn't even leave a complaint in your online customer service, it said I wasn't logged in. I will never purchase another product made by this company and I will tell everyone I know and have already sent out an e-mail to everyone in my inbox about this dishonest company, this company is criminal and just out to rip families off, families that are just trying to find something fun for their children to do on a hot day.

Yet another complaint with these water slides. From what I've read here, it appears they are not that discriminatory and will sell bad slides to men too. We did have one reviewer here like them though, but the gender in that case wasn't very clear. Gimmie an "F" for Fabulous Alex!

To the OP: Kids can have just as much fun with a plain old water hose with a sprinkler.

Horrible Product and Service

We went thru 2 Roaring Rapids Slides in less than 3 months. Toy Quest customer service was horrible! It took forever to even get a response back and now even after trying to replace our 2nd Roaring Rapids slide the customer service said sorry it is pass the warranty and to use fish line or super glue spray. UNREAL!!! DON'T EVER BUY ANY BANZAI SLIDES BECAUSE THEY DON'T STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS! We spent nearly $700 on it too!

I paid almost a $1000.00 for the slide, and it has a rip in it. I have contacted customer service and it is a joke, one day I get one story the next day I get another. I advise NO ONE TO EVER PURCHASE ANY KIND OF MANLEY PRODUCTS!!! This wasn't a cheap lesson at all for me, and very upset is the least you can say! It really doesn't matter though they already got there money AND DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Torpedoes away! There must be a dozen complaints here about this manufacture's slides tendency to tear. I haven't seen one compliment from a competent reviewer yet.

To the OP: I feel your pain BUT do you know how many trips that 'thou' could have taken you and the family to the local water park for way less stress and agony? A water hose and perhaps a Slip and Slide for a fraction of what you paid surely would have sufficed.
