Solutions wanted:

Get my jet ski running soon.
Or refund $2418.48

On December 14 of 2001 Motor Boat Mart in Olympia, Wash agreed to install a rebuilt motor in my Jet Ski. They told me they would take the old motor out and send it to Short Block Technology in Florida. Motor Boat Mart told me the old motor was required as part of the purchasing agreement. Motor Boat Mart told me to pay Shot Block Technology for the rebuilt motor and to pay Motor Boat Mart for the instillation of the motor. I told them I would like the boat to be ready March 15th, 2002.

What follows is an accurate account of the events and dates as logged on my calendar:

Feb.19
Paid Short Block Technology $831.00 plus the motor core.

March 15, 2002
Picked up the Jet Ski with newly rebuilt motor from Motor Boat Mart. Paid $1198.81

March 21,2002
Took the Jet Ski out for the first time. The Jet Ski died in less than fifteen minutes. I was on the Puget Sound and received extreme cuts to my legs and broken fins on the Jet Ski as I was trying to ?walk? the boat back to the loading ramp. I still have scars on my legs today from this experience. Cost to repair Jet Ski and labor for 2nd motor instillation $627.73
I returned the Jet Ski to Motor Boat Mart on this day.

March 26
I called Motor Boat Mart. They said the motor had to be sent back to short block and it would be replaced. They said they would have to wait for the shipping ?stamp? to be sent from Short Block in Florida. This would take about seven days.

April 9
1st motor mailed back to short block in Florida from Motor Boat Mart. This was nineteen days after the boat was returned to Motor Boat Mart.

I totally empathize with you and frankly you should ditch it and get a new one from a competitor and take and park your old one out front with a poster explaining what happned I bet they would take of it right then! I would be livid if I could not use my jetski for more than 15 minutes.
