Horrible service

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- We purchased a vacation package through My Vacation Help Desk. I was stupid enough to ignore the first warning sign. The package had to be paid for 24 hrs prior to making reservations... after being assured that we could make make the reservations to our desired location for a specific time We paid up. It is now 2 months later and we still have no reservations. I have been given numerous excuses, been out right lied to, and been hung up on. I have called at least 3 times per week, almost always have to leave a msg. I usually call 3-4 times before my msg is returned. The destination they promised is not available at this time. However I called the phone # given and asked about purchasing the exact package and was once again " guaranteed "I could book the next day
Since they have a no refund policy I can't even get my money back .

PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE...YOU MAY NEVER GET TO USE THE PACKAGE YOU PAY FOR

If you charged it, dispute the charge with your credit card company. Give all the details to them. Good luck.

That was a big red flag - I've never heard of paying before you make a reservation.

this is a scam. call the better business bureau! and the attorney general's office. this comopany is shameless.

OMG, that is the same thing that is happening to me right now! First it was "choose a 4-5 star hotel" now that im ready to book, i can only choose 1-2 star hotels and would have to pay extra $200 for "upgrade hotels"! I am so furious but cant do anything as I bought this dumb package last year already! So what did you end up doing? Any suggestions? I am thinking about talking to the manager but I doubt they'll do anything! Its almost impossible to get a hold of my stupid agent, she promises to call me but never does until I call her at least 5 times!

Hi everyone: I am currently disputing Vacation Booking via my credit card company, trying to get back my money for the services they never provided me. I was given the same run-around that you all were given. This company has been rude, unprofessional, and is obviously a scam. They have 59 complaints filed against them on the Better Business Bureau. If any of you could please help me out and submit an official statement for my Credit Card company that would be a huge help to me. I want this company to finally have to give someone's money back. Maybe this will pave the way for everyone else to get their money back as well. If any of you are interested please let me know and I will give you my email address. Thank you very much!

The same thing is happening to me. I paid 450 dollars for a friend and I and was planning on going on vacation in March. They told me the next time they have availabilities is in September! I am barely surviving and i really need a break. i am so mad about this!

WOW !!! Y didnt i check this out before!!! ...i am having the same issue they supposelly cancelled their contract with the destination i wanted and now they want me to pay an additional 200 dollars because they have some sort of promotional thing goin on...the manager is very bad she just laughed at me...and wants more money....how or what can we all do to get our money back.....my email is campos1104@yahoo.com ....if we can start some sort of petition to get our money back ...LETS DO IT!!!!

i paid last year $500 and just find out that you can only travel like 30 days out of the 365 days of the year to be consider off season and not be charged an extra $299.00 per person...this company is the WORST and really rude and HORRIBLE customer service...i wish i could do something to get my money back.

I have been tring to book since 4-2011 still getting run around paid $498 destination never
available. I was told had to pay extra for off
season never was told that when make reservation.
If anyone has an ideal how to get our money back please let me know. This company is very rude and I also believe this is a scam.

I paid $498 on June 2011. They assured me that I have 18 months to travel and assured me that the vacation destination is always available, furthermore, I just need to give them 45 days notice. I had to pay first; After I paid, they FAXED a receipt and added a bogus date of travel which was one month later. When I called to question, I was assured that this was just a formality and it was a typo!!!. Now almost a year later, I first tried contacting them on 5-1-2012. All the numbers provided on the forms are no good. One number plays music, another number is never picked up, or there's dead tone. So i found the e-mail and e-mailed them several times, finally someone called me and left me a number and extension. GUESS WHAT, THE NUMBER IS BOGUS!!! . Finally i contacted my credit card company and reported this as fraud. I have to see what will happen. PEOPLE BE WARE OF THIS COMPANY.

yea so i purchased on 3-8-2012 and when i told them i want to go to cancun they said that all the hotels are full, i said ok hawaii, they said its the season now and i can only go to dominican republic, so i purchased it thinking its a 5 star hotel, when i googled it was more like a motel and people said in comments that there bugs and dirty rooms, food is worse possible, so when i wanted my money back they said no refunds, so i had to buy new package from expedia $2600 dollor package thinking ok i got hustled so maybe ill use it later. i was gona go on my honeymoon and this scammers took my money from me that i really worked for. so i tried calling them to see if i can use this package now and guess what they not picking up and theres not even a voicemail. this people should really pay all our money back and get punished for all of our stress. i really hope they get hit by a bus.

I purchased this last year or early in the year, it's been a while.
I'm having the same problem, do any of y'all recall what name it was billed under? I'm going to report it to my bank and BBB.

i paid 850 dollars for a trip and cannot get a response or a person to pickup the phone. does anyone have the phone number that is needed to get in touch with these low lives?

THIS IS A SCAM! I WAS ABLE TO REACH SOMEONE SUPPOSEDLY NAMED DEE AT 888-676-5871 X285. THEY STOLE $800.00 FROM MY CREDIT CARD AND WANT TO CHARGE ME $300.00 EXTRA PER PERSON TO GET A HOTEL ROOM IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. THEIR EMAIL IS INFO@VACATIONHELPDESK.INFO AND CUST.SERV.CARE@GMAIL.COM. SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THEM FROM RUINING MORE LIVES.
