It seems that Netflix drags its feet on new releases when the same said movies are available elsewhere... In other words it can take up to three months to receive a recent movie when they are available at other retailers (Red Box-Blockbusters). Shame on you Netflix.
So went online to order rental movies and password would not work. I called them, man asked me last two movies, told him, he gave me new password and son tried again with new password, worked. That was fast, good to deal with company that know what they are doing. If been Best Buy or Radio Shack would still be on phone. Thank you Netflix.
CALIFORNIA -- Make a note of the date your account hold expires, because with no warning, Netflix will charge your credit card the day before, & re-start your account, whether you're ready or not. Most irritating of all, there is no way to effectively contact them. Customer Service consists of nothing but help topics. They made $14 for free off me, but I cancelled my account within hours of their notification, and I won't be back. I replied to their e-mail, but it was returned as Undeliverable, & My3cents doesn't have an e-mail either. Beware!
LAKE WALES, FLORIDA -- I just got off the phone with Netflix and I'm very pleased. I somehow ended up with 2 accounts under 2 different email addresses (my fault entirely) and the gentlemen I spoke to was very helpful, courteous, took care of my issues and even gave me some free time on my account. Thanks Netflix!
I just wanted to give Netflix a good review for this site so anyone looking for information doesn't see just the complaints. I have had excellent service from Netflix. The turnaround time for mailing the DVDs is really fast (usually 1-2 days) and they have a huge selection of movies.
I signed up for their service because I was offered free phone hog minutes. There was a problem when I signed up. I used the wrong email address. I have spent days and several emails trying to get them to correct my account so I get my free minutes and they refuse to help me. All they have to do is notify phone hog I joined. They refuse to do it.
