Cannot "Unlock" Pump -

No matter how I try - holding on to the pump - twisting it left or right, opposite of the container - will not open!

A Pleased Customer
Posted by Yai Yai on 02/17/2011
SKILLMAN, NEW JERSEY -- I simply love the rainbath shower and bath gel. It leaves me smelling clean and refreshed without those overwhelming, perfumed scents. You only have to use a small amount each time you shower, so it has lasted longer than any other shower gel I have purchased in the past.

I also am very satisfied with the Fresh Foaming Cleanser. I have normal/dry skin and this cleanser not only leaves my face feeling moist, but it gives my facial appearance a bright, illuminating look. The Fresh Foaming Cleanser too is lasting quite a while and that puts it in a bracket of being cost effective.

I will definitely purchase these products again.

Have you discontinued Neutrogena Wave?
Posted by Aneesa on 10/20/2010
My son uses the Neutrogena Wave and foaming pads for his acne. This is the only product that has worked for him. We are having a difficult time finding the foaming pads. Any idea if this product can come back on the shelves? The pads are available on Amazon for twice the retail price.

Have you tried contacting Neutrogena? If not, here is their contact information. Let them know you are having trouble finding this product, or if it actually has been discontinued. You can also check out the site, they may have it for you to order.

What do you mean by foaming pads? There were regular cleaning pads and exfoliating pads. I have both, but my wave stopped working. Yours will probably stop working too, it's a common complaint.
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-10-20:
Drugstore.com has them for $8.99 and they are offering 20% off of that. I do not think it is discontinued because they are still selling them all over the place. What is the price you are accustomed to paying?
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-10-20:
Never mind - that $8.99 price is for the Wave AND the pads and you probably don't want the whole thing. I ordered one though!

www.drugstore.com/Neutrogena. Or in-store. Ask a sales associate help you locate them if you are having trouble locating them.

Terrible packaging/brush fell apart

broken packaging and brush fell apart
broken packaging and brush fell apart
After using this product for a couple of months, the hinged lid came apart. It is impossible to keep it together. Today, using the brush, it completely came apart.

I like the product, but the company needs to have better quality packaging and a brush that lasts until the blush is gone.

Just an FYI, the picture you posted is HUGE! Can't see the whole pic without scrolling and therefore it's tough to see the problem.

But...if it's been a couple of months, you should tell Neutrogena.

In your browser, zoom out at 50%. Very bad close-up photography as the picture is not clear.

I have an Elizabeth Arden compact that fell apart. Just buy another blush brush for a buck.

I don't buy their stuff. They animal test.
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-01-09:
Sherdy, while it is sad, that animal testing has saved lives.
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-01-09:
They should pedophile test. That would be more accurate than sticking a mascara brush in a rabbit's eye. PS. Lots of companies don't animal test. No lives lost there, either testing or using.
Posted by PepperElf on 2010-01-09:
well i don't care for animal testing for makeup
but for medical research i'm all for it
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-01-09:
If animal testing is for medical research then I’m for it.
Posted by jktshff1 on 2010-01-09:
Yea, use the pedophiles, killers, etc for testing....good idea sherd
Posted by Skye on 2010-01-09:
OMG Sherdy, I've been saying that for years! I had posted that here a long time ago, and talk about the attacks I came under. The person that did the attacking is no longer with us.
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-01-09:
Sky, that would get the ACLU in a frenzy.
Posted by Anonymous on 2010-01-10:
I agree with using peds for testing. Good idea.

Hey, they are allowed to suck up oxygen after ruining someone's childhood. What else are they good for? A dog, on the other hand, is loyal, amazing, healing, kind and isn't a product-anyone who has animals knows they think, feel and love. I could go on, but you all know this crabby vegetarian has issues with all of this.

I love the New Hands product and have used it continually. Unfortunately, now, in Tampa, FL. I can no longer find anyone who stocks it. Could you please let me know where I can still find this amazing product?
Thank you.

Packaging suggestion
Posted by KBrookpark on 12/01/2007
I use Visibly Firm under my makeup every day.

However, I wish the handy dispenser came with a cover,

A plug always forms after use, and when I squirt out the next application, there is always a little hardened piece of lotion to get rid of.

I can't find a customer contact e-mail address for Neutrogena to comment on this to them.

Neutrogena's Sun Screen
Posted by Rodeo on 08/04/2007
FLORIDA -- Ultra-Shield Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 70 with Helioplex. Be very careful. It stains your clothes and towels! Neutrogena is aware of the problem, so if it happens to you, call them. I have received a refund check and am going to send them invoices for clothes that were ruined. They required that I try taking them to a dry cleaner, which I did. They cannot remove the stains. So that bill will be added to the cost of the clothing.

I will let you know if they pay everything.

FINALLY - I can gladly report this is resolved.

Here it is November 30th, but I have a check from them for the cost of the dry cleaning! I had to call them last week and ask them why I hadn't heard from them, but that's all it took. So, they get a thumbs up for responding to my complaint. The stains did come out with the dry cleaning, but after washing the cotton shorts, the stains are slightly visible again. Just be careful using the product, and clean off your hands before you touch anything!

I really want to know what happens, please drop me a line.
Also before any stain sets, with pets and kids myself, I've gotten blue-berry smothie, paint, koolaid, poop stains, ext., 2 many to list, out of my white carpet with NATURES MIRIACLE. I swear by that stuff it's amazing.
They say to use it before any other cleaners and it's true my husband used another floor cleaner resolve first one time and it made the stain set. Natures miriacle got it out still, but with a lot more elbow greese.

I finally decided enough was enough and I found this neutrogena. I had used it before but I completely forgot how it frangrance free neutrogena facial soap for acne exsisted. Ive been using it ever since and it has really helped; now my face is mostly just light scarring. Every once in awhile I have breakouts in a few areas. Does anyone have any ideas on additional products I can use?

My sister as well as a couple of my friends use the Pro-active that started out being advertised only on informercials. I don't know if you can get it over the counter or not. Everyone I know that uses it really loves it and swears by it. One of my friends in particular had a very bad case of acne and now looks just great. Hope this is something that you can give a try.
Posted by MollyDolly on 2006-10-15:
Thanks for the advice but I tried it when I was thirteen (Im 22 now)and it didnt work. I have an uncommon type of acne where my face is really oily; the only things that help my face are products presribed by my dermatologist; thank you though and did you notice I put you on my trust list after like three days of being on this site?

Well thank you very much :-}

Posted by MollyDolly on 2006-10-18:
I havent broken out since like January and now Im starting to break out again. I just had my period and I have a lot of ugly acne on my chin and around my lips. I finally decided what Im gonna do. I had been on one casule (Minocycline), tazorac (a cream).1% and Evoclin. Thank god for insurance; otherwise it would cost more than $300! The Tazorac is $25, the Evoclin is either $205 or $250, and the minocycline is just $5
