DECATUR, GEORGIA -- I purchased a chair from Office Max a few years ago and the chair recently broke last week at the frame. I called the warranty customer service and was told I be receiving the info and a Office Max gift card for a replacement chair. After a week of waiting, I called them back and was told my claim wouldn't be honored b/c the frame isn't covered on chairs but the seams, wheels etc. What kind of wheel cost $129 for a damn chair? This is some crap and I'll never buy anything else at Office Max, not even paper! Screw Office Max for screwing over consumers with their crappy Insurance Coverage!

Hi, I am so upset right now that I will never shop at Office Max again. I am a small home office so when I saw that they had a promotion to get max perks back when purchasing certain items I ordered enough to get $160.00 back in Max Perks awards. on the first 2 calls of me explaining they said they would credit my account. When it did not happen, on the third call she told me I had not entered my account number. I explained that I had logged on with my password before I ordered and they had my max number assoicated with my account. She agreed they had it, but again said she was sorry that I had to actually enter my max number again to get the perks and that there is no way to go back now. She said sorry that it was clear in the terms and conditions. Who reads the fine print??? I told them if they really wanted to honor their promotion they would have placed that information clearly on the 'check out' page. Also I went to their terms and conditions and it is pages and pages of fine print and I still could not find that information. I told them they intentionally hid that important fact in there so they would not have to give me my $160.00. I asked for a supervisor and was give a another representative The second time I asked for her boss and was given a ‘mentor’ She was very rude and kept saying I should have read the fine print. MAX PERKS is a scam. !!
WILLIAMSVILLE, NEW YORK -- I do personalized calendars per special order and bring them in to be bound with a hole punched for hanging. On 12/6/10 the clerk bound 3 calendars then proceeded to mangle the calendars with a hole punch. None of the holes lined up and some pages had two holes. Some of the holes were so near the edge, she put tape on the page to hold it together.

These calendars are beautifully done with keepsake photographs and personalized dates. They cost me about $25 per calendar to produce, excluding the hours of labor.
As a result of this sloppy job my professional work looks amateurish. It's hard to believe an office supply service center cannot punch a clean hole!
