ONLINE, FLORIDA -- I ordered 2 pairs of twill shorts from Old Navy. When I received them, I removed the tags (including the sewn on tag in the back which is VERY itchy) and put them in the washer. When I took them out of the washer, both pairs were fraying along the pocket and belt loop seams. I called their customer service dept. and was given instructions to return as a defective product, and reordered the same 2 pairs of shorts.

After mailing the original pairs back, I rec'd email confirmation that they had gotten the package, and a 2nd email saying that only unworn or unwashed items were eligible for return, but AS A COURTESY they had decided to process my refund. Their return policy clearly states, only unworn, unwashed, OR DEFECTIVE items are eligible. I did not need a condescending email telling me they are doing me a favor! Their own customer service dept. told me the items were clearly defective!
Poor service Old Navy, I always thought better of you!
I placed an order with Old Navy about a week ago, and when it came in the mail, one of the shirts was missing! I called immediately and got to speak to someone within 5 minutes. She was incredibly apologetic and nice, asked which item and she re-shipped it. She also gave me a 15% discount for the future. This customer service is really great - and I would definitely order online with them again!Add reply

Old Navy's has absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. They purposely make returns so difficult you would rather no do the return than return the item. In this case I received a Christmas gift wrong size. They made the return such an ordeal, I left the item at the store without completing the return. Clerks with no people skills, managers with no concern for customer service. 3 Replies - Latest reply on 12/30/2011Add reply
Get rid of your ad team. It is my country not a joke or a store. To men and women who serve or who ever did the 4th and my country still mean more than a sale.

The store in Burlington, VT is disgusting! Everytime I go in there the floors are filthy, it looks like they never sweep or mop them. The dressing rooms look like they have never been cleaned, either. On our last visit the other day, we were in the dressing rooms and someone had left a pile of feces in there - nasty! That was the final straw - we won't be back! 3 Replies - Latest reply on 02/06/2010Add reply
