I Paid Them Twice And Can't Get My Money Back

WILLOUGHBY, OHIO -- In early Oct. 2009 I ordered "Miracle Conditioner" from this company and provided them with credit card information. I received a phone call from them stating that my credit card hadn't gone through. I immediately sent them a check for the amount they said I owed. When I received my credit card statement I saw that indeed the amount had gone through along with my check clearing the bank. I contacted the company via phone they said they would look into it. I asked if they wanted a copy of the canceled check and credit card statement, they said no. Several weeks went by and I hadn't heard back from them nor had I received a refund. I sent them an e-mail on Mon. Nov. 23 asking for a refund of my double payment. I received an e-mail back, stating if I would provide them with my credit card # they would issue a credit my card and then asked "how much they owed me"? I replied that I would not send my credit card # to them because obviously they are incompetent because they should have record of it. I informed them that I sent in a check I wanted a check refund and wanted it sent immediately. I received NO customer service, I even went so far as to tell them that if they had apologized for this incident I would reconsider reordering from them again...no apology.

I will never order from "My Tate Family" I have attached their website...don't be fooled by it. www.ourtatefamily.com

Dispute the charge with your credit card company.

You might want to get in touch with the State of Ohio's Attorney General. They have a consumer protection division which deals with issues such as these. They should be able to help.

So what finally happened? I am having a similar experience with company right now.
