I purchased the Executive Cookware set several years ago. I was hesitant to invest such a large amount of money on cookware but the lifetime warranty on the pans made it seem like a no-brainer to take the plunge and invest the money. After all, they were guaranteed for life, right? WRONG! I called Pampered Chef today to let them know that the coating on my top of the line pans was coming off and was informed that the Teflon coating was NOT covered under their warranty. Any deterioration of the coating is considered every day wear and tear thus not covered. When I asked what the warranty DID cover, I was informed that it covers if rivets become loosened, a handle falls off, that kind of thing. I am so extremely disappointed by Pampered Chef right now. I'm pretty sure I own half their catalog and the Executive Cookware was my second set of cookware that I had purchased from them. My first set of cookware also had the coating wear off and when I upgraded to the Executive line I was assured by my consultant that the new cookware would not only NOT wear out like that, but if it did, the pans would be replaced. Incidentally, a different consultant that I spoke to recently about the cookware also told me that the coating would be covered by the warranty. Pampered Chef is clearly misinforming their consultants.1 Replies - Latest reply on 02/10/2014Add reply
HOLLYWOOD (WORLDWIDE CO.), FLORIDA -- The currently $155.00 12" Pampered Chef Skillet I have had for several years is now peeling on the sides. The outer coating appears to be peeling away from the bottom edges all around the outside of the pan.

I was told it had a lifetime guarantee but unlike Coach, Kohls, and other quality companies that stand behind their product, Pampered Chef does not. I called customer service and was told it was "normal use", had to have the original receipt, would need to ship it back at my expense (willing to do) and if they didn't deem it was faulty then they would return the skillet as is to me. I have other skillets purchased for less money and used way more frequently (like from William Sanoma) that perform terrific and have not peeled from their exterior or any other displeasing aspects.
Pampered Chef used to have my support but now I will no longer be a customer of this company. Protect yourself from high claims and little back up as well as less than stated product quality.
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- At a Christmas holiday event, I bought a couple of items from Pampered Chef. I received a receipt for $114.47. After receiving the merchandise, including a free item, I decided to return the items for a refund. I packaged everything in the original packaging and returned everything including the free item.
My credit card account was charged $116.64 and my refund was $98.29 even though the receipt clearly indicated that the shipping was only $5.25. After four back and forth emails, a final phone call reiterated the fact that (1) Pampered Chef would not refund any more money and (2) their representative had mislead me into thinking that (i) the shipping was $5.25 and (ii) miscalculated my receipt (although the math is correct).
This outfit is breaking the law and probably making a nifty profit by both overcharging and under-refunding.

Don't buy a PAMPERED CHEF Easy Accent Decorator. The same part broke on both that I purchased and Pampered Chef is not interested in helping or replacing it. I want to warn others so they seriously consider buying anything from PAMPERED CHEF. Their products are not quality. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 10/31/2011Add reply
I ordered an $11.50 item, Measure mix and pour from Melissa Ratliff back in July 2010 during the county fair. I had not received it so I made 2 calls to her leaving her a voice message. Neither time did she return my call. Today I left another message and have yet to hear from her.

I have owned 4 of this microwave cookware for 6 years+. (two of the large and two of the small) We use this cookware every day to cook and to reheat foods. It works like a charm. I haven't had any trouble of any kind with this cookware in all this time and I can highly recommend it to anyone. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 06/11/2010Add reply
After spending $400+ on Pampered Chef pots, that are about 5 years old, I needed to return a couple of them for replacement. Basically my family skillet had a black unremovable spot right in the center and was no long flat, rather the center was out of shape. My small and medium saute pans were releasing the black coating. Still under my lifetime warranty and with my receipts, I called and send them in for replacement.
Well, the lifetime warranty isn't so. According to them, they look at your returns, do tests and a team decides if it is manufacture's defect or if you simple "misused your pots". Don't fall for the lifetime warranty pitch, I have written the company and have demanded a copy of the tests and the results that lead to their denial to replace my pot.
I was a loyal PC customer. Now just a very disappointed one. No more business from me.

CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- Like other consumers, I had to replace my pizza stone 3 times. It is a product defect, in my opinion. All the customer service dept. was willing to do was to keep replacing stones. I had had enough, and wrote to Pampered Chef and told them that if they would not refund my money, I would turn the matter over to the attorney general's office. They did not reply, so I filed a complaint with my state's attorney general office. Two weeks later, Pampered Chef called me to let me know that they were sending a refund, and I received it a week later. It was worth the little amount of time it took to get my refund, but is sad that it takes this step to just get companies to do the right thing.Add reply
