My camcorder would suddenly not turn on and the unit was still within the one year warranty. It had a very small dent in the back of the LCD. After sending it in and paying the Diagnostic fee of about $ 40.00, they returned it to me without repairing it, and did not even mention in their paperwork what they thought the problem was. Their customer server is the worst. I am having it repaired by a local repairshop and I intend to contact Panasonic to pay for the repair. I will never purchase another Panasonic product and am also informing my friends of the issues that Panasonic has.1 Replies - Latest reply on 08/03/2011Add reply

I had purchased a PanaSonic microwave oven Model NN-CD997S(Serial No. 5G69120444) in November 2009, but after operation of few month it got some problem and went off(Dead Set) in the beginning of May 2010. Machine handed over to PanaSonic authorized Service Center on May 07, 2010 under the warranty for rectification but it couldn't be done till to date due to unavailability of spare parts. With constant follow up with service center country office the issue is yet not resolved which has cost me lot of time, resources and mental disturbance.

MINNESOTA -- I have never in my life encountered worse customer service than my recent experience with Panasonic. The front line reps are rude, arrogant, and dismissive. Every deadline they've set for themselves has been missed badly. I'm promised a call back in an hour and days go by. And when I call them to inquire I get the brick wall.

No compassion that my TV doesn't work. No regret that they've missed every deadline they've set. No explanation for them completely ignoring me. No excuse for their condescending attitude and rude language.
It's just been a shocker to me that a company can have a service arm this poor and continue to operate.
After just two years my 32" LCD TV screen broke and the cost to repair is nearly double the price of a brand new set. NEVER AGAIN with Panasonic.
GADSDEN -- They have got to have the WORST customer service I have ever had to deal with and their warranty policy is a joke. We purchased a Panasonic Multi-Unit telephone from Office Max on September 20, 2007 to use in our business. Less than 4 months into being used one of the handsets died. I called "customer service" to see about a replacement handset since it did come with a 6 month mfg. warranty. Guess what... their idea of "warranty" is they send you a refurbished phone and NOT a new one, some warranty huh? You get someone else's piece of crap they had to send back and get replaced with someone else's piece of crap and so on and so forth. This is one mistake I WILL NOT make again, I will never purchase another panasonic POS as long as I live. My advice to others, STAY AWAY from panasonic and any other incarnation of this horrid company. They are a joke and an insult to the retail industry.

Camera no longer would turn on. Sent in. They refused warranty due to a mar on the camera, not related to malfunction. Said they could not reuse the camera in their exchange program so I asked they to just fix my camera and send it back to me. They told me that that was their policy was to not fix cameras with any blemish on it and and they would not repair my camera and send it back, but I could buy a rebuilt one for $190.Add reply
