Inferior Product / Poor Service
BETHLEHEM, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have an Elite Pro-100 television that is 6 years old. It stopped working in November of 2004. I paid an authorized dealer $624.34 to fix it. They have been out 4 times to replace the power supply and it still doesn't function properly. The last time they were out, the new power supply was dead out of the box! The dealer told me he is losing money on my problem, and doesn't want to pursue it. He tells me that I should contact Pioneer and try to get them to support their product, because they don't listen to him. When I call Pioneer, the representatives act as if my situation is normal and acceptable. Their attitude is somewhere between disinterested and rude.
My experiences with Pioneer have been extremely aggravating and frustrating. I hope by communicating this it will help others avoid a similar problem.
