Refurbished product

COMMERCE, TEXAS -- I ordered this from an authorized dealer and the product came in a sealed box from pioneer. THE PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE!!!!!!!

I SPENT 89 DOLLARS ON THIS CD PLAYER AND I RIPPED THE OLD ONE OUT OF MY CAR, SO NOW I HAVE NOTHING! THE PEOPLE I BOUGHT IT FROM ARE IGNORING ME AND GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND... I WANT A REFUND OR THE SAME CD PLAYER.... AND I WOULD BE PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH SENDING BACK THE DEFECTIVE ONE FOR ONE THAT WORKS... I JUST CANNOT GET A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE.

What does this have to do with Pioneer? Sounds like your complaint should be about the dealer.

You should contact the dealer you purchased it from, not Pioneer.

Rebate on dvdrom player ignored

Despite all correct documentation/dates/copies/proof of certified mail/email communication etc. rebate repeatedly refused. Sleazy business ethics and real stupidity.

Consumers should be warned.

Inferior Product / Poor Service

BETHLEHEM, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have an Elite Pro-100 television that is 6 years old. It stopped working in November of 2004. I paid an authorized dealer $624.34 to fix it. They have been out 4 times to replace the power supply and it still doesn't function properly. The last time they were out, the new power supply was dead out of the box! The dealer told me he is losing money on my problem, and doesn't want to pursue it. He tells me that I should contact Pioneer and try to get them to support their product, because they don't listen to him. When I call Pioneer, the representatives act as if my situation is normal and acceptable. Their attitude is somewhere between disinterested and rude.
My experiences with Pioneer have been extremely aggravating and frustrating. I hope by communicating this it will help others avoid a similar problem.
