Deceptive advertising
Posted by on
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- This new pizza appears to be 4 decent sized pizzas. They are not. All 4 pizzas fit into a medium pizza box. We could have saved 2 dollars and received a large pizza that would have been more pizza.

I have seen those ads. I think you get a bit more though with the squares as they fill the entire box. Actually, you probably just get more crust.

Stop falling for gimmicks and just order a normal pizza, for pete's sake.
hochi1942 on 2004-02-12:
well anything that is a circle has more area than any other shape to technically the round pizzas worth more than the square ones
kapapineau on 2004-02-16:
If you were stupid like ph desk jockeys, spend over 50 million on advertising and equiptment...they got to get there money back somehow. The pizza will feed 2 at best..not 4 for all..its a disappointing product :(

Denied Service
Posted by on
DAWSON, GEORGIA -- I was denied service at pizzahut in Dawson, Georgia. I arrived at pizzahut around 10:00 p.m on Saturday (December 27, 2003)and they told me I couldn't dine in or I couldn't order nothing to carry out. They were very rude and people were all in the kitchen with their street clothes on. I don't even think they worked there.

Did they give you a reason you could have included? Anyone seeing your complaint would first guess they were closed and you weren't getting it.
Anonymous on 2003-12-29:
You couldn't "order nothing", huh? I don't see why that was a problem I never order nothing at a pizza place anyway. What's the point? The nothing at home is much easier to get. But seriously, maybe they were closed. Places do that from time to time.

I would have denied you service too! Coming in that late for service is unacceptable! You need to learn some dining etiquette. Why couldn't you come in at 8:00? or 9:30? You need to consider the time when eating out and consider the feelings of others. I get pissed too when we got fools coming in 10 minutes before we close.
Anonymous on 2003-12-30:
Well Mr. Manners p-erhaps your place of business should have a sign stating no orders will be prepared 15 minutes before closing time. If your place of business is open until 10, all orders up to that time should be filled....

Lazy American Pig. You don't go in right before close and expect to hold everyone up so you can feed your fat tatties:)
Anonymous on 2003-12-30:
I agree with Barry.

First of all, no one is being "held up" when they are on the clock. If a restaurant is opened until 10 PM that means they take and prepare orders up to that time...even if it means the employees don't get out of the restaurant until a little later. End of story.
Anonymous on 2003-12-30:
You are wrong. If the store is open until 10pm, that means at 10pm they turn off the lights and lock the doors. You can't come in at 9:59 and expect them to cook a 20 minute pizza then sit around and wait another 30 minutes for you to eat it.

I used to wortk retail. We didn't serve food but the plight is the same. After a long day at work, closing at 10 means the staff wants out at 10. We always hussled out anyone coming into the store right before closing, and they were out at closing- you bet. The others are right! Around 10 mean 9:58? Their kitchen is cleaned up and ready to call it a day. You really expect them to start cooking a pizza now? Ignorant and selfish come to mind.

Oh yea, Say Chadd, where is your snottly little ass from? You can flame the overweight, but you best stay clear of going (americans) there.
Anonymous on 2003-12-30:
If the store closes at 10 and the kitchen workers do not wish to prepare food past that hour, there should be a sign for customers stating such: "We only take to go orders from 9:30 until closing". That would eliminate any problems.
Anonymous on 2003-12-30:
Regardless of whether or not the pizza joint takes orders up to the closing, if the people in the kitchen had their street clothes on, odds are they were all preparing to leave, and had the door unlocked expressly for that purpose.

You are an inconsiderate MORON!!!
walmartangel on 2004-01-27:
You can guess by my name where I work. I do the fitting room to fill in, and at close(11:00 p.m.) we always get some moron with a cartful of clothes who wants to try everything on. If they aren't there before 11, too bad, we cannot have overtime, and at 11, it is goodbye, you can come back tomorrow.
kapapineau on 2004-02-16:
Restaurants #1 goal is to make money. The closing time is at the discretion of the operator. On extra busy days they may stay open later....works both ways. If the lights are off...go somewhere else.
sublimechick on 2005-05-06:
CALLING THIS GUY A MORON? WHY ARE YOU ONE OF THOSE LAZY PIZZA BUT EMPLOYEE WHO ARE RUDE? PROBABLY I WOULD SAY SO. FIRST OF ALL YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME PIZZA HUT CLOSE AT THAT AREA. WHERE I USED TO WORK. WE CLOSED AT 11 ON WEEKNIGHTS AND 1 IN THE MORNING ON WEEKEND SO THEREFORE THIS GUY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH POLITENESS. SECOND OF ALL, SO WHAT IF THE STORE DID CLOSE AT 10 PM? SO WHAT? ITS YOUR FREAKEN JOB TO WAIT ON CUSTOMER AND ONCE IN A WHILE YOU GET A CUSTOMER THAT CAN'T TELL TIME SO WHAT? THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE RUDE TO HIM? THEY CAN TELL HIM SORRY WE'RE CLOSE AND EVERYTHING IS SHUT DOWN. IS THAT SO HARD? OBVIOUSLY!
killerklown on 2007-12-02:
I don't think I'd want to eat food that was prepared by people who were angry at me for keeping them at work late...

COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND -- When ordering online the option of both ranch and blue cheese dressing to go with the wings would be nice. In a group of people not all are going to hethe same. Thank you for your time.
