Stopped serving honey mustard? For heaven's sake why? It's the primary reason I eat chicken there (besides the beans and rice side) and it goes perfectly with the spicy coating. How can it be? Was she just too lazy to go get it? Was this a corporate decision or is it just my local franchisee that won't stock it?
I will carry my own next time because, let's face it, there's no better chicken strip in town.

ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- I love Popeye's chicken but the Popeye's at the store at Green Oaks and Cooper needs help. I went to the store late in the evening. I asked if the chicken was fresh and they assured that it was. When I received the chicken it didn't look fresh and I asked for some more, which I received. When I came home with the chicken it was still hard as a rock and I realized that the staff lied about it being fresh. This has happened on more than one occasion and from now on I will take my services to Churches Chicken. Thanks for nothing Popeye's!!!!1 Replies - Latest reply on 02/16/2014Add reply
LANSING, MICHIGAN -- Ordered a crawfish tackle box and a 2 piece and a biscuit. Was told there would be a 3 minute wait on the crawfish so I pulled ahead, that was at 12:10. Then at 12:18 a lady came and told me that now I am waiting on the chicken, I asked if they could not figure out I had chicken on my order also?? I told her I just wanted my money back. At 12:23 I went inside to get my money back!! I am diabetic and NEVER got lunch that day!!!! I contacted Popeyes corporate office right then from the parking lot and was told someone would get back to me . Called on 11-1-13 and was told to early for them to review my complaint. Called on 11-13-13 and was told " she will have someone contact me ASAP. On 11-19-13 I called again and was told the same thing?? Does Popeyes have so many complaints that they can't get back to people in 3 weeks???Add reply
SUISUN CITY, CALIFORNIA -- Just wanted to voice my opinion of the new feature item of chicken and waffle battered chicken. HORRIBLE!!! The batter on the chicken tasted like coated flour with baking powder mixed in and that horrible, horrible, condiment called "maple honey sauce" What the hell is that stuff?! I dipped the chicken in the sauce, anticipating a sweet honey flavor. What I got was a glob of gunk, that made me want to throw up! I immediately threw it away.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!
I order a meal with water. The employee told me that now they are charging 1.99 for water, no matter it comes from the soda fountaine (tap water). Since then I have never eaten again in Popeye's. Add reply
PONCHATULA, LOUISIANA -- It's Father's Day! I drove up expecting some good Popeye's Chicken. Saw the sign for new "Wicked Chicken." Sounds good so I ordered it to go. Got home to find it was a "wicked trick." It's just tiny leftover pieces of chicken that has been trimmed from other pieces. About 80% breading and 20% chicken! At first I couldn't identify it and thought they had messed up my order. Nope, this is it.

I feel you are wasting your money on this Wicked Chicken. Sounds like a new way to get rid of bits and pieces!!
OAK PARK, ILLINOIS -- I frequently visit the Popeyes Chicken on Madison st. in Oak Park Il. After placing my order I informed the person at the drive up window that I am a senior citizen and I would like my free drink. She told me that this particular franchise does not honor this benefit. I asked her if she was sure so she asked the manager to come to the window. The manager agreed with her so I did not pursue the issue. My question to you is, does this offer only apply to certain franchises ?

321 WEST 125TH STREET, NEW YORK -- On 9/3/12 @ 16:53 I was in line placing my order. A previous customer tried to get the servers attention several times after I placed my order, stating that there was not any toilet tissue in the bathroom! It was very obvious she was being ignored!! Finally the "manager" came up to the window along side of the server and asked what she wanted! She stated again that she really needed to pee badly and that there is no tissue in the room could she have a few napkins now!!! After a sigh by the manager she gave her a few napkins.( Several of us in line started looking in our purses to see if we had any tissues for her to use!! By this time the door had locked again and she had to find someone to unlock the door. It would not have surprised me that this lady did not WET here pants right there in front of the cashier!! This young lady was very courteous trying to be patient and was just ignored!!! This is unacceptable for a store as busy as this one, they should always have someone checking the supplies in the restrooms.
The employees in this store for the most part are discourteous and rude and inpatient!!
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- would like to make a formal complaint. I go to Popeyes a lot and go to different locations in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I always get a breast and a wing. The price is always between $3.10 and $3.13 depending on the tax in that particular and I get what I ask for. When I go to the store located at 683 Boulevard Atlanta, Georgia my price is never the same. Today, August 3, 2012 around 11:35 and was greeted by Nicole who told me that my order would be $3.85 cent. Knowing that at this location they always give me an extra biscuit. Thinking that was the reason for the higher price. I asked that they take the 2nd biscuit out and reduce the price. I was told by the manager MS. [snip] that she could not break it up like that. I told her that I never have that problem with any other store and their prices are always the same and if they took the biscuit out I would be the same price. I left to go to another location and came back to get the managers name, store address and phone number. Ms [snip]said that she was manager and that she would help me as much as she could and wanted to know why I wanted the information. Initially, I told her that it was because have lied to me and overcharged me. She continued to tell me about the difference in manager stores. I said that shouldn't matter because the price should be standard and they do not change. Then she said that she could give me a Senior citizens discount which wool take it down to $3.40. I was going to purchase it there but I went to the store on Lee street store #2108. I would like to commend them because of the excellent service I get.

DALLAS -- I went to Popeyes and when I got home the order was wrong, the lemonade tasted like water, and they didn't give me a specific piece of chicken I requested. I called the store and told the manager what happened and I told her I was on my way back. Instead of replacing the entire order with hot food she only wanted to fix what they got wrong. I insisted that I get hot food because by the time I travel back home the original food I purchased would be cold. She got angry and coped an attitude so I asked for a refund instead, she took the food and trashed it and said she couldn't give me any cash back since I used my debit card it would have to be put back on there. Needless to say that was back in May, I never saw my refund put back on my card. I have called the corporate office several times and no one has yet to call me back I even spoke with the district manager of that particular store and still I have not gotten my refund. I guess they must need the money really bad due to the recession because its like they are refusing to return my money. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 07/10/2012Add reply

While I am buying the food, the manager and the co-employee of that Popeye location along 40th St. Bet. 7 and 8th ave. were making faces and laughing about me. I would know because they would look at me and then look at each and laugh. I don't think that is right. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 06/08/2012Add reply
