Missed Valentine's Day Delivery

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Confirmed orders for wife and daughter a week ago for delivery on Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day at 1041 am, received a curt email from ProFlowers saying that they were sorry but they couldn't fill the orders, but would "expedite" delivery. It's a little hard to expedite an order when it's already late.

Called their 800 number to complain and was told, "we're so sorry for the inconvenience, but we took too many orders and hope to deliver your flowers within a couple of days." Asked to talk with a supervisor, was put on indefinite hold for 25 minutes, then transferred to "** in Los Angeles." ** assured me that the orders would be delivered today. They weren't ever delivered.

When I called again, they said that they were, "so sorry." I agreed that they are so sorry... so sorry in fact that I will NEVER use them again and go out of my way to tell others of my bad experience with their service and lack of concern.

Don't use Pro Flowers Florist Express

NOT HAPPY. I booked flowers through the The Delta American Express shopping for ProFlowers and never received a confirmation. When the flowers didn't show up and I received no confirmation, I call ProFlowers who said they had NO order. So I went back and placed it again and even paid for same day delivery. This time I got a confirmation number. Only today I find out from the person with the birthday that they received two arrangements. I called ProFlowers again and they now directed me to ProFlowers Florist Express and they were the ones with two orders and REFUSE to credit me.

GUYS link your systems. You just screwed me for $160 because your right hand isn't talking to your left hand. I hope your customer satisfaction scores reflect this.

  1. Didn't receive confirmation on first order, when call ProFlowers they say no order and it doesn't occur to them to refer me to their Florist Express arm.
  2. I then place order again and get confirmation.
  3. Now person gets two arrangements and I am out $160. They didn't even offer me a coupon for another order. guess they don't understand the cost of customer acquisition.

Worst customer service ever

I ordered flowers for my aunt's funeral and paid extra for guaranteed delivery the night of the wake. No flowers were at the wake, so I contacted both ProFlowers and the funeral home staff and again the date of the funeral - NO FLOWERS.

Despite having a letter from the funeral home that the flowers were never delivered ProFlowers continued to send me emails to my complaint saying the flowers were delivered and I have not ever gotten any product. This company does not stand behind their promise and dealing with them is a nightmare and their promise of "We Care" is totally unbelievable based on their performance. I lost money and I hope this does not happen to you!

Pleasantly Surprised!

My impression of ProFlowers changed today when a beautiful arrangement of flowers was delivered to my door for Valentine's Day. After reading so many complaints, I didn't know what to expect when I opened the box. Much to my surprise and delight, I found a perfectly packaged bouquet of flowers in excellent condition considering the box was left at the door upside down! It was also very convenient that the flowers were bound together in a glass vase (so I didn't have to search for one), and came with two packets of food and instructions for prolonging their life.

The thing I'm impressed with the most is the box and packaging. They are designed to keep the flowers and vase from being damaged regardless of any haphazard handling. When I saw that the box was upside down, I had visions of the flowers being completely smashed. But instead, I found everything inside the box to be in perfect condition. So, I received a timely delivery from ProFlowers on Valentine's Day and was completely satisfied with the flowers and service. Not too shabby for a company that seems to get so many negative reviews.

Who sends flowers in a box? what a shame!!!
By -

I had the shameful experience that poorflowers.com has yet to learn that you do not send a lover/wife... anyone you actually care about, flowers. Nice pretty pictures on the website, and anyone like me, who has had flowers delivered before, KNOW, that's the way they'll be delivered. In fact their FAQ's state "flowers are arranged as shown in our descriptions". BS! If they showed pictures of how the recipient is delivered the goods, well then they could only show boxes on the website. The recipient should not have to play the florist.

The whole idea is the element of surprise. Surprise alright! $164 let-down to be more like it. Why does it cost so much to learn a lesson that all is not what it seems? That there are still companies out there just looking for a buck and don't care how much you are humiliated. Send me spark plugs and car parts in a box. Don't EVER send my wife flowers IN A BOX!!! What, were you born under a rock? Please tell me that it would cost more to pay staff to arrange the flowers, so I can say... send me that refund, because that's what my wife will have to do.

Proflowers did NOTHING BUT EMBARRASS ME. WHAT A SHAMEFUL DEMEANING PRACTICE. I suppose if I had sent flowers to a funeral, you'd expect the dead guy to arrange them??? You should contact a REAL FLORIST and learn that you're probably in the wrong business.

Not worth the money

My dear husband wanted to surprise me as he was going to be out of town for Valentine's Day. Never again. CHEAP flowers, no filler, I had to arrange the thorny, small roses myself, and dispose of the huge amounts of packaging. At least it was winter and the flowers could stay fresher in the cold truck. I can't imagine how much more awful the flowers would have looked if it was summertime.

He and I both like to save money but their 'special' was not so special. Shipping was just as much as the flowers. After seeing all the packaging to throw away (or recycle), I could see why. My husband was embarrassed and we both hate that money was wasted on such cheap flowers. He'll go to Costco next time and get much better flowers for half the price.

Bad, bad customer service
By -

I placed one online order for flower delivery with Pro Flowers on Monday 2/10/10 for delivery on Thursday 2/11/10. Due to the weather conditions, I contact customer service via email to change the order. They pretty much said too bad, no changes. I emailed a second time and got the same response, even though the City I was delivering to was closed. I received another email stating they would be delivered the next business day - however, that did not happen and flowers are sitting in a warehouse since Thursday and will not be delivered until Tuesday - what a surprise for that recipient.

I called Pro Flowers twice and was told there was nothing they could do, but the flowers would be delivered. I was also told that I would get a call back. That did not happen either. I called again on Sunday to talk to someone and explained I did not want a refund but a delivery no one would help me...... Customer service is so lacking at Pro Flowers. So I got my money back, but dead flowers were delivered 4 days late.

Pro Flowers Got Me

Well, I ordered online the $75.00, dozen roses, ruby red vase, chocolates, and bear special. The roses showed up with NOTHING else. I called them, and the woman said, "I hope you have a vase"! What? Then I told her to send someone back over there to get their flowers and refund me my money. She then said, "ALL businesses have this happen"! ??? WHAT??? We then talked refund. She said she would credit me $35.00... for 12, a dozen roses for $40.00???

This is a rip off, and I'll be posting this crap on every review site I can find. I look like a cheapskate to the woman I love, and have been married to for 16 years! She knows I go all out for her, and they left me hanging. Man, it's no wonder why all the other countries hate America... too many half ass rip off artist in this country. Buyer beware... and to the conservative radio show hosts, you know the ones, that I heard about Pro Flowers from... screw you also!

Horrible-Worst Experience Ever
By -

I had the worst experience with you people ever. On Valentine's Day my husband decided to order with you guys. Big mistake! He ordered me my fave pink roses. He did a nice and loving thing that turned into a nightmare. I received 3 white roses and 9 pink roses that look like they were taken out of a garbage can and that is putting it nicely. He also ordered long stemmed roses and what I received was shirt stemmed. They were not even nicely arranged with greenery and had thorns on them that should have been removed before packing as I cut myself on one. All in all this was a terrible experience!!!!!!!

So to sum it up on Valentine's Day I got a gift I would get from my worst enemy and not my husband. Not a nice thing to remember nor should they have been sent at all. They were awful. I called up customer service to express how displeased I was and the representative hung up on me. I called back again and the representative was much nicer but didn't make up for the fact my Valentine's Day was ruined.

I have purchased from you guys before but will not again as the quality is sub par and I don't feel like wasting my money on awful flowers. I will be sharing my experience with many people. It was also insulting that $30 was tacked on for delivery. For shame on you people, not only did you ruin my day you added insult to injury by tacking on delivery for bad flowers.

ProFlowers Is a Joke.

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- My boyfriend sent me some flowers and was excited for me to see the flowers on my desk. Well, I told him that on my desk was a BOX from UPS. I thought he had sent me long stem roses without the vase but then I saw that the flowers were in a vase but I had to arrange the flowers! My boyfriend never intended for me to have boxed flowers and nowhere did I see on the website that this is the way the flowers are delivered. They need to show the box the flowers come in and the cheesy way they look in the vase.
