Where Or How Do I Get A Replacement Zipper Pull For My Husbands Jacket?
Posted by on
The metal zipper pull on the jacket described above broke off. The metal part broke off that held the hanging pull part, so I can't just find a new pull tab, it is a faulty zipper pull. This was a special gift purchased at the ProShop at Lambeau field in Green Bay Wisconsin and means a lot to him, but without the zipper the jacket is useless.

Please direct me where to go or how to get a new pull. If all else fails the whole zipper could be replaced, but I would want the zipper to match and am unable to locate that color and size. Please assist me if you can, or at lease let me know if these replacement pieces are not available.

Thank you

A local seamstress should be able to solve your problem. I would start looking at your local laundry.
olie on 11/13/2010:
I agree with jktshff1. Go to your dry cleaner's, and ask if they can replace the zipper. Ask for an estimate, as well.

Be advised that you won't have your jacket back the next day.

Go local. I took 4 coats into a local place laster year, complete new zippers on each and it was $32 total

Shoelace replacement
Posted by on
BLUE MOUNTAINS -- Sirs:

I own a pair of Reeboks . I think the model number is RB 708 PYE 4-131477 - this is printed on the tongue of the shoe.

Recently I tried to change the shoelaces. It took the combined efforts of 3 people to accomplish this, over a period of 40 minutes. The laces are extremely difficult to remove and also to replace.

Currently I am in China, which was also useful since your web site isalmost unintelligible and very difficult to follow. I cannot imagine who must have designed the complicated lace insertion. I would be very interested to receive your comments, but if the rest of your organization is as poor as the design, then of course my complaint will be ignored

A very frustrated and angry

Seriously? You needed 3 people and instructions to change SHOELACES? Wow. I've threaded laces with frayed ends through eyes the size of a pinhead with no problems when I was TWELVE!

Defective Shoes By Reebok
Posted by on
LUCKNOW -- I had purchased Reebok brand shoes from authorized shop of the company in Delhi on 06.04.2007. I found that stitch thread around eye hold was coming loose. On pointing this out the company through their authorized dealer in Delhi changed the shoes on 08.04.2007. However, the shoes subsequently were found very tight and damaging my feet. On 26.04.2007 I communicated to the Company at their E-mail address this aspect including request that matter be dealt in Lucknow as I am posted in Lucknow.
The company in its e-mail correspondence admitted that dimensions of the shoe can vary because of styling which was exactly the cause of my discomfort because of these shoes. However, the company felt that shoes cannot be replaced as I had used them and they thus cannot resell the same. After much e-mail based correspondences in which Company representatives used inappropriate language, the Company agreed to examine the shoes. Accordingly, the shoes were left at the Company designated store at Saharaganj, Lucknow on 12.05.2007.
Since then, despite repeated reminders, there has been no communication from the Company as to what has happened to my claim to have these shoes replaced. Thus the Company has deprived me of use of shoes for more than three months in spite of having invested substantial amount of money. It is requested that this matter May be taken up with the Company to find out:-

(1) Why the Company shoes were of different size in spite of declaring on the shoes the size for which they were bought? Incidentally company has accepted this aspect and I quote from their email to me ‘Footwear of various models May vary in dimensions because of styling’.

(2) Why Company representative use inappropriate language while corresponding with the customer?

(3) Why a multinational Company which spends huge amount of money globally on advertisement deals with the customer who points out the problems insensitively?

(4) Why it has taken Company so much time from 12.05.2007 till date that it does not find itself capable of responding to the customer in spite of having taken back the shoes for examination.

(5) Whether the company will ultimately decide on the issue or legal action for which a customer is always poorly equipped compared to a multinational company is the only recourse?

(6) Does the Reebok Company have the same policy towards its customers in Europe and America in similar circumstances?

Making comments about young girls butts is sleazy advertisement. Shoes should sell not young girls butts. This is just a way of degrading young girls, and saying your product which is on the feet not the butt is not "sexy" enough to sell on its own merit. NO THANK YOU. Clean your act up!

Nothing wrong with admiring God's creation even if it is in an ad.
redmx3racer on 10/22/2010:
I assume the ad in question is the one where it zooms in on a girls butt for about 3 seconds. No complaints from me, but I did notice that and wonder what exactly it had to do with sneakers.
Anonymous on 10/22/2010:
That particular sneaker (Easy Tone) is supposed to tone your butt about 20% more than regular sneakers. It is one of the selling points. I still think they zoomed in a wee bit much though. They could have just talked about the toning benefits and let you decide for yourself withOUT zooming in on her.

Men aren't buying those shoes...lol!
clutzycook on 10/22/2010:
Good point, incrediblelee. The only thing would be that men see those commercials and think that if their wives or gf's bought those shoes, they would have nice butts too. So they would pressure their SO's to get them.
getoverit on 10/22/2010:
And it's just possible that women buy products that might make them more attractive.
Anonymous on 10/22/2010:
If my SO bought me some butt-toner shoes, he would be out the door with a puff of smoke behind him.
clutzycook on 10/22/2010:
well yeah. No man (or woman) should do that to their SO unless they are asked to do so specifically by the SO or if they really really REALLY like sleeping in the front yard.
Anonymous on 10/22/2010:
LOL incrediblee! Just tell him, "You liked it well enough last night, and it hasn't changed since then."

I am going to get a pair of those booty shoes and if I don't look like the girl in the commercial in 6 months, I am going to the BBB.

I'm a straight female, and that commercial really intrigues me! I know that the shoes don't really do what they claim to, but the commercial really makes me want to try them! I'd love for my butt to look like those butts.
Anonymous on 10/22/2010:
Lol @ ript trying to get me to scare the h@ll out of all mankind. The commercial IS intriguing momsey. I am going to Williamsburg today and I will see if they have any in the outlet. See these commercials are annoying as crap but they work!
MRM on 10/22/2010:
Incredible, I too live in VA. I live in the city where PeTA is headquartered, where NATO is headquartered, and the largest Naval Base in the world.
Weedwhacked on 10/22/2010:
I saw the commercial and have no problems with it.

Reebok does not respond to e-mails
Posted by on
About two months ago I spent $100 for a pair of the Easy Tone shoes; since then I sent an e-mail asking the best way to clean the shoes; and my second e-mail was telling the company that a piece of rubber is coming off the heel of my left shoe. Each e-mail responds and says they received it and a response will be coming to me within 24 hours. THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED IN EITHER CASE.

Gift For Christmas
Posted by on
LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN -- I got the Reebok yoga mat for a Christmas gift and it is the worst mat I have ever used. It sticks to itself and doesn't unroll easily. It is extremely slippery. I have tried to "break it in" by using it a lot to see if it will work better, but it is no use.

I am NOT recommending this product to anyone.

Why is Reebok better than others?
Posted by on
ANTHEM, ARIZONA -- I am a big fan of Reebok. My question is simple. How and what makes Reebok better than other sporting good stores? All I need is a comparison, lets say Reebok vs. Nike. If you could answer my question asap, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Davis

Reebok exploits a better class of child laborers than the rest. There's your answer.
Anonymous on 04/19/2008:
I also like Reebok's. Reebok has spent years making a better shoe for as long as I can remember. PMS must be drinking again as no place did it ever say anything about exploiting child laborers.

"Reebok has been tremendous in its ability to consistently produce top-quality licensed merchandise in designs and fabrics that meet the needs of today’s fans,” said Howard Smith, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Major League Baseball Properties. “We look forward to expanding our relationship and creating new items that will inspire fans to incorporate supporting their favorite team into more aspects of their everyday lifestyle.”

Reebok's ignorance of respectable people
Posted by on
SAN FRANSICO, CALIFORNIA -- As a loyal fan of the SF 49ers I am boycotting anything to do with this company. Seriously how much money will they lose by letting head coach Mike Nolan wear a suit on the sidelines. Granted they paid 250 mil for exclusive rights to all teams apparel, does it really matter that a few head coaches want to show respect to the game and the ones who came before them. I guess in a huge company like this respect means nothing. Therefore with any chance I get I will strongly suggest to anyone and everyone not to purchase your products. Including the various sport teams I coach. I will never recommend your products of any kind.

I agree, I don't see any issue with a coach wanting to look professional by wearing a suit. I also fault the NFL here as well, since they essentially are forcing a brand specific dress code on their players and coaches by accepting the deal with Reebok.

I don't wear Reebok because they hurt my feet, and I agree with Coach Nolan wearing a suit.

defective shoes
Posted by on
UTICA, MICHIGAN -- In July of 2001 I purchased a pair of womens Reebok DMX shoes.
Approximately 1 month later they started to squeak.
I returned them in Aug of 2001 and received a new pair. They were purchased at
Dunham's. in Utica, Michigan.
In Nov of 2001 my shoes have started to squeak AGAIN!! This the second pair.
I am still wearing them as I haven't had time to make the 50 mile round trip to return them yet.

I would like to have my money returned .Reebok is my favorite brand of shoe and these are very comfortable but I can't stand the noise. I think they had a bad batch
or something because I have purchased Reebok's for years and have never had this problem before.

Been there, done that! Same thing happened to me. Seems like their bubbles prematurely pop causing that noise and foot problems. I finally changed my brand.
Anonymous on 12/06/2001:
Have had the same problem with two of my pairs. My latest pair hasn't developed the squeak. I like them so much that I hope they have the problem fixed.
Anonymous on 12/08/2001:
same problem here with DMX 2 they squeek like heck
Anonymous on 02/09/2002:
Years ago I had a Reebok sneaker that squeaked it drove me nuts. So it's not just one brand or a recent problem.
Anonymous on 01/09/2004:
you people have a lot more problems then squeeky shows...geez
kodak on 08/26/2007:
I have worn Reeboks for years (DMX, now called DMX Max). About10 years ago I had some squeakers (two different instances), but the store took them back.

I notice now that DMX doesn't mean what it used. Only DMX Max have the connecting bladders built into the sole. I've seen DMXs that just have an sole insert with a couple little air pockets in them.
Ricky on 03/08/2013:
The heel portion seems to have 2 separate components, an outer and an inner and they're not bonded together with glue or anything. The inner rubs against the outer when it compresses. I don't think its repairable unless you can stick a needle in there and squirt some oil or something.

Basketball hoop assembly
Posted by on
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- If you happen to purchase a Reebok basketball hoop, have someone assemble for you. The instructions are woeful and the "know-how" required is great.

We got it assembled but only after many expletives and 3 hours of frustration.
