ASHLAND, KENTUCKY -- I do not know why I keep going into rite aid, every time I do I get ripped off. Something needs to be done with such horrible management and brought to their attention they act like they could careless. When you purchase an item and there is a price under that item that is the amount you should pay for, then when you check out it rings a higher price as usual. Their prices are so ridiculously high and on top of that they know they are ripping people off. Will never be in this store again but something needs to be done.Add reply
BARBOURVILLE, KENTUCKY -- I placed a complaint about the awful experience I had at Rite Aid in Barbourville Tues Dec. 10. I was happy to receive a call from the District Manager. He was professional, courteous, and kind in apologizing for this incident. I want to thank him for making me feel like I matter as a customer. Also, I hope this incident may educate people on suboxone. There are many elderly, disabled, and addicted people trying to fix there lives from the misery of taking opiates a little too long. If anyone has ever seen a person in full withdrawal they would understand. Many people are against it, but it works and people are able to function without diarrhea, vomiting, sweats, heart racing, insomnia, bone aches, muscle spasms, jerks etc that happens to you when you stop taking your medicine daily. I have enough life experience to know and I can tell you being judged when you are trying to improve makes you very angry. I needed to hear an apology from someone and I know he took me seriously instead of dismissing me like the store employee did. Thank you Sir, I am sorry I couldn't hear your name that well due to my cell signal when we talked but, you did your job perfectly.Add reply
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- The selection of laundry detergents and softeners and the amount of those that are available are so poor that one would think it's not a busy Brooklyn corner but a mom-n-pop store in a dying town far away from a remote road. Not just on one visit but very frequently. I asked the cashier and she just shrugged "that's all we have." Shame on you, Rite Aid. How reliable is a company that doesn't take advantage of the absence of a Walgreen's of a CVS nearby?Add reply
ASHLAND, OREGON -- This morning I got a robo-call promoting the Rite Aid Pharmacy, particularly flu shots and other products for seniors. Usually robo-calls come from anonymous credit card companies. It is exceptionally rare to get one from a company you even know. Apparently they got my phone number from the stores "wellness card" application. I don't think I ever gave them permission to call me at home with spammy robo-calls.
Their robo-call makes me way less likely to enter their store again.
Rite Aid Pharmacy Is a Joke!

BROAD N WYOMING, PENNSYLVANIA -- Arrived at 7:55 sign says open at 8am, I was waiting for bus which comes at 8:12 saw three employees go in after 8am doors didn't open until 8:10?! I missed my bus of course! If you are not going to open until 8:10 then put that on the sign! May not seem like a big deal but it is to me! If I'm late I lose money so the same should apply to business, open late and get your purchase 50% off! Sounds fair to me! OPEN ON TIME!!1 Replies - Latest reply on 06/20/2013Add reply

W. OCEAN VIEW AVE STORE IN NORFOLK, VIRGINIA -- Day before yesterday I went to Rite Aid in Ocean View to pick up a prescription. My complaint is not about the pharmacy. I picked up a two liter Coke, a Skinny Cow candy bar, and a 14 oz. Pepsi. In the meantime, one of the girls who man the checkout counter picked up the same kind of Pepsi and a bag of chips. There was a man working on a laptop at the same counter where her stuff was placed. I guess he was a salesman or something. I put my stuff down at the other checkout to be rung up.
Maria, one of the checkout girls, started to ring my stuff up and kept putting my Pepsi aside, thinking it was the other girl's. She refused to ring up the Pepsi, saying it was the other girl's. I said, That is Mine. No, it wasn't. I said, yours is THERE. The man on the laptop said that THAT one is yours.
I am a senior citizen and I find their attitude insulting. I believe they thought I didn't know what I was talking about because of this. I have run across this attitude before. After that, it was honey, baby, something I don't like either. Senior citizens are a big part of the population. I think my money is as good as a younger person's.
ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA -- This is for Rite Aid store at 142 South Main St, Alpharetta, 30009, Ga. I went to the store to get my wife's prescription refill on 27th December 2012.

N/A -- A few weeks ago, Rite Aid repackaged their latex gloves which where great into a smaller package about half the size of the original. As it is, the original package just barely fit all gloves, now trying to get them out is a mess especially for those people who don't want these latex gloves scattered all over the floor just trying to pull them out! It's absolutely cheap! The price is still the same, and frankly the company can't be saving more than a few cents using the smaller box. If you agree please send them an email to return to the old packaging. There aren't too many good options out there, and this product was great to begin with, now it's like CVS latex gloves: pricey and lousy!!2 Replies - Latest reply on 11/15/2012Add reply

ADEL, GEORGIA -- This pharmacy is absolutely awful. If you have an alternative drug store that you can use, I highly suggest that you do so. They could care less about consumers and always have a rude and hateful attitude. This is not just one workers there but seems to be the norm for them all. Even the pharmacist. Customer service is terrible and their prices are triple the pharmacy across the street. I have never had a good experience in this store and it seems to be the same in other Rite Aid locations as well. I HATE THIS PHARMACY! (Prescription errors, very poor customer service, ridiculous prices and the list goes on). Doesn't get much worse than this.Add reply
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- My review about this company is their poor management and poor customer service at certain locations. I have gone into a Rite-Aid; and there would not be a manager in sight or there was not a security guard present. There is never anyone to help service you and long lines because they always have one cashier on site. They need to inspect their store and provide better customer service, and protection. Seeing the quality service of this Rite-Aid, I no longer patron their establishment.1 Replies - Latest reply on 03/08/2012Add reply
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I am still trying to understand if this was a major rip off or a mistake by the pharmacist. Contacted Rite Aid and no response so far. I had a new prescription, the Rite Aid price for 3 months was $255. It was a life critical prescription so I gulped and paid the price. When the renewal time came up, I shopped around and found the same prescription at Costco for $25. Holy #!~@&!. My mind still won't get around this kind of price difference. Are they really that horrid? Since they won't reply, I will assume they are and bad mouth them everywhere I can find...4 Replies - Latest reply on 02/25/2012Add reply

You tell people to enter your contest on customer service. You have to enter this contest by internet. What about the people that don't have a computer. Why do all companies take for granted all have a computer. I use a computer at the library.

WEST ISLIP, NEW YORK -- Don't use Rite Aid for any photo processing. Not only are they rude and unhelpful but they are extremely lazy and stupid. The company charges your credit card right away and then doesn't care if they lost your order. 1st they tell my wife that it must not be their store and then that it must be that it was ordered for multiday delivery. When they are proven wrong by being shown the confirmation e-mail they say they don't have internet access and that she needs to go home and print it out-WTF is the difference! Do yourself a favor and go to CVS.

Oh and BTW their 25% off coupon code didn't work either.
Lately when I go to check out at my local Rite Aid there are never enough checkers to check out the customers, are you having problems with keeping the help? 5 Replies - Latest reply on 08/26/2013Add reply
