PELHAM, ALABAMA -- I purchased a brand new 2012 Optima from here. The next day something was in the road that I could not swerve to miss and therefore damaged the front passenger tire. My insurance company paid $200 to Kia for tire replacement. 5 months later that same tire turns up with a bubble in it and needs to be replaced. I take it to Kia and they tell me that my insurance bought a cheap tire and they can not cover it, therefore I am going to have to pay $200+ for a new tire. But this tire they put on will be covered with road hazzard. It is the exact same tire they put on 5 months ago but for some reason they won't cover this one. I even have the exact estimate and cost from my insurance company. It should be covered under Kia but they refuse. They lied straight to my face and I will never return and advise anyone not to trust their service department.1 Replies - Latest reply on 08/15/2012Add reply

PELHAM, ALABAMA -- Being a two time purchaser with this dealership we approached them for help due to medical reasons and one of us no longer able to drive. Being 2 retired ladies who had trusted Riverchase Kia's sale staff and honesty we re-contacted them to trade in the 2 previously purchased cars-new 2008 Kia Stortage and used 2007 PT on a new larger single vehicle. I agreed to raise my monthly payment from $437 to $575 and put about $1000 down. Talking with our prior salesman and dealership sales manager we were told they could and would help us but ask that we wait until after 10/01 for the new incentives. Oct online specials are $4000 rebates on the 2009 Sorento we were discussing. On 10/9/09 their sales manager called us back as we were leaving for the dealership and told us that our pay-off's were way too high for them to work with us. They sold us these car's originally---therefore they knew what they had charged us and how long we had the cars when we asked for their help. Apparently they not only set us up for a devastating heartbreak in our current situation but they cheated us on the other 2 sales--- BUYER BEWARE. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 10/11/2009Add reply
