Have been dealing with them many years. This is first time with problem. Called and emailed customer service. They never replied. Received mdse. that was damaged. Just want it replaced. Last time I will deal with them. Will have to dispute charge with my credit card company.
This company is completely unscrupulous. They do not provide full disclosure in their auctions and only give you certain details once you try to book, and what you want is never available. There is no adequate means of contacting them so you wait days or weeks for an email response and usually do not get it.
I won a "2 Night Stay for 2 at the Paradise Island Harbour Resort" in the Bahamas on June 16, 2007. I have been trying to collect on it since then but no one answers emails, customer service calls, or responds in any format. I can not collect despite repeated phone calls, emails, etc. This auction was part of a Caribbean Hotel Association Charity Auction. I emailed them and they also did not respond.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I have purchased over a dozen trips from SkyAuction but my last 2 have been a disaster. They have completely lost it. Among the problems are: (1) Many errors on listing, some tend to misrepresent the trip; (2) They do not honor what they are selling. My last trip was supposed to include transfers but they did not provide them; (3) Customer service is arrogant and tries to stonewall you; (4) errors occurred in reservations and they really don't seem to care. Overall they are no longer worth the hassle to save a few bucks.
