Can I Get My Money Back

Rating: 1/51
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I will say one thing about this Hotel the room was clean here, but the bathroom door was broke. My husband tried to pull it out and jammed his fingers. Wow! Do you think they helped? No they gave him a screw driver he did it himself. Also, when we first pulled up I said wow, they have a lot of skunks here. It was skunk alright, skunk weed! The guys who worked construction was smoking a blunt out in the parking lot. I said wow, that was a red flag for us to leave, but we didn't we figure we would stay, it's going to be alright.Guess what, it's not!

The desk clerk told me it was downtown guess what again in the hood. Don't get me wrong, the White House is in the hood that's nothing, but don't lie to me about were you at. Breakfast rotten banana cold decaf coffee and rotten service. If you want a hot breakfast only on request. Isn't that something?

My advice to you is, you can listen but you could go and check it out. You might not have a problem like we did, but I will say this, of all the Sleep Inns we've stayed in this is the worst! I will never stay there again and I almost forgot they were having a Barbecue in the back of the building. Here is another WOW this hotel is not for me.

Can you get your money back? No. But you can go to their corporate website and give them your feedback.
Tezrien on 09/14/2012:
Sounds like fun to me. Some Middle TN OG Kush
and a BBQ? You should have joined in at the BBQ, grabbed a long neck and enjoyed. It could have been the best part of your trip.
CrazyRedHead on 09/14/2012:
Can you get your money back? NO, you already stayed there. You can do as Ript suggested and go to there website and let them know that you weren't happy about it. You never know, maybe they can make some sort of amends for you. Now, whether you accept or not, is a different story.

Bad Service And Stealing Allowed By Employees
Posted by on
PRINCETON, WEST VIRGINIA -- We were moving from NY to SC and stayed at this hotel, in the am when we woke someone had broken into the moving truck. After we reported this to the front desk the women laughed at us. Yes seriously with a smirk on her face saying there was nothing she could do about it. Yeah right I am forwarding this complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

After calling the 800 Choice Hotels and complaining they said that "wasn't their problem" so don't stay at any Sleep Inns especially this one because your stuff will be stolen!!!

Disrespectful and bad customer service, then there was no internet as promised to boot, has anyone else had a problem with stealing and disrespectful employees? I am not recommending this to anyone.

The front desk folks should not have treated this lightly. She should have offerred to call the police for you.

I'm not aware of any hotel chain that takes responsibility for the items in our car/van/truck. They just can't.

You can probably imagine that moving fans are prime targets for thiefs at motels and hotels.
Crown Jules on 06/08/2009:
I agree with goduke. The smirking was unprofessional, but you can't expect them to take the fall for the theft. Most parking lots whether they be for a motel, mall or restaurant have signs posted stating that they are not responsible for items left in vehicles.
MSCANTBEWRONG on 06/08/2009:
How awful. goduke and CJ are correct however the employee's behavior was very rude and unprofessional.

I recommend to anyone that is traveling with valuables and staying at hotels to inform the front desk that you have lots of stuff that can't be brought inside and also acknowledge that you know they are not responsible but would appreciate parking in the front by the front desk. Every single time I have mentioned this they let me park all night in the spots reservered for people checking in.
sweber25 on 07/10/2009:
And how are you sure that it was an employee stealing? Do you like people accusing you of things that you didn't do? The hotel was correct, they're not liable for your belongings unless it is locked up in the hotel safe, and last I looked a U-haul won't fit in the safe! You're out of luck! Maybe next time spend more money and stay in a safer neighborhood instead of trying to save a dollar and sleeping in the ghetto.
