Product Caused Diarrhea
Posted by Knot2L8 on 03/20/2009
When this order came, the cancellation was "within 15 days" interesting that the product was shipped after the cancellation date" how could you cancel? An additional two shipments arrived after supposedly being cancelled! Product is bogus filled with carbs and certainly meant to do just what happened to me... duped. I accept stupidity.

Hopefully, this prevents others from getting this product. I will return all products unopened.

A lot of weight loss products cause diarrhea. That's how you lose weight.

Slim Easy is beginning to sound much like Colonex700.

I wish people would realize that 99% of these weight loss schemes are just that. Healthy begins with eating a balanced diet and exercise. Your family doctor can also provide you with all kinds of information on how to achieve the best plan for you individually.

Good luck getting rid of Slim Easy for good.

LOL littleyaya. Duh.

Maybe they should call it Diarrh-easy Poo Pro Formula ha ha

Hey - in addition to natural weight loss, it makes you run more (to the bathroom) lol

Also, as a friendly little prank, maybe you can mix some of the extra supply you don't want in to the coffee of those you like the least at work ha ha.

This Is A Rip Off And A Scam
Posted by Slong on 03/08/2009
CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- I saw this product and decided to try the trial sample for $5.99 but found the product to be anything like it is stated. The powder does not dissolve well and it should not be classified as a meal substitute! you will be hungry within an hour!! On top of that I did not cancel the auto ship so I received more of the product to the tune of $88!! I went back to the website to read the return terms which do state "if not satisfied with the product you can return it for a full refund if postmarked 15 days from ship date" So you are instructed to go through the website (which I did) and ask for an RMA # (which I did) and the only responds I got was (read the terms)the call in number is no help and they defer you to send and email!!!!

So 5 emails later I still have the product and the charge of $88!! I will take further action and dispute the charge with my credit card company but be warned `DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT IT IS A RIP OFF!!!!!

Thanks for posting, I just saw their ad the other day and thought "yea right"....Yet another miracle weight loss gimmick. Whenever you see commercials for all these magical products out there, including the ones like Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem, ever notice in the fine print it always, always says "results not typical" ?? I just hope that one day people will stop falling for these and learn that "healthy" begins with a balanced, nutritious diet and getting enough exercise.

There are no short cuts to losing weight. It would be nice if there was... The solution is simple in theory, eat less calories than you burn and exercise daily. That will result in guaranteed weight loss no matter who you are. Easier said than done I know... It's a shame so many companies out there try to capitalize on other people's frustrations.

Good review!

Good points Crabby! Weight loss is not easy and is a struggle on many levels. I really wish companies were not allowed to make these claims on their products when it has not been proven effective.

Feel Totally Ripped Off!
Posted by ROCKINRAY on 02/13/2009
PITTSBURGH, PA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I am writing because I too feel mi was scammed from the company who offers slim easy shakes. I received a pop up offering a free trial sample of this product. I replied because I was looking for a meal replacement shake to try and this made a lot of guarantees. I was only responsible for a shipping charge of $5.99. I received this little container with this unbelievably tiny scoop inside and was shocked at how small it all was. When I tried the product I was just as disappointed at the product itself. I used milk with it and I only turned the milk into a chocolate. Not a shake-just chocolate milk and it was nasty. I was glad that I only wasted the $5.99 On it and knew I wasn't gonna get anymore. About 2 weeks later I received a yellow envelope with 2 more of those containers(the same small size)in the mail. It also stated inside that I wads charged $87.99 For them. To begin with I never agreed to purchase these and when I attempted to get my money back I got the complete runaround and no refund.

When you open up the website for slim easy you see this big container of the product. These are nothing like that. I plan on saving these unopened until I get some action concerning this. Please tell me what I and others can do to get our money back.

Unfortunately this is how the scammers work, they give you some crud product and hidden somewhere it says that after the trial product you are automatically entered into some subscriptions for rip-off priced shipments of the crud.

If you paid with a credit card, you would be able to dispute the charges with the credit card company.

However, if you paid with a debit card, it is a harder process as they now would be able to steal your money at will. You would need to create a new account, transfer your money to it, and close your old account. This would prevent them from stealing any more of your money. Depending on which bank you use, you may be able to file a charge-back.

As harsh as it sounds the OP was not scammed. Filing a credit dispute won't work in this case. Here's why. On the order page directly above the PROCESS ORDER button there is a check box. Checking that box means means agreement to the privacy policy AND terms & conditions, which are also clearly shown above the check box. Legally the OP allowed them to ship more and begin charges. Go back to the web page to read how to cancel it.

I too fell for this scam. The terms which are extremely hard to find indicate that in order to cancel future you had to cancel 15 days after receipt of trial shipment. I received trial a month later - the shake mix minus the free Aktins bars & menu guide. The following morning I found the $88 charge on my PayPal account. I called the company & cancelled and applied for a RMN number to return shipment in progress. I was informed that by ordering the trial & agreeing to the terms (you really got to hunt to find them) I was obligated to purchase the shipment. One step shy of illegal in my opinion. No where on the ad page is there any indication of pricing or obligation for future shipments, other than the terms link way at the bottom of the web page in very tiny print. You click on that & it's all there. Legal, but a bit shady. I am going to file a complaint with The Better Business Bureau and spread the word on as many blogs as possible.

WHAT IRKS ME IS THAT I FELL FOR THE TRIAL OFFER TOO AND DIDNT CANCEL AND ONCE YOU GET THE PRODUCT THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR RETURN GUARANTEE!! EVEN THOUGH I CALLED AND SENT THE EMAIL TO SUPPORT@SLIMEASYPRO.COM THEY WONT RESPOND WITHIN 24HRS AS THEY STATE THEY WILL AND THEY WAIT FOR THE 15 DAY WINDOW TO RETURN THE PRODUCT WITH AN APPROVED RMA PERIOD TO BE OVER!! I TOO WILL BE CALLING MY CC COMPANY TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES!! DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT SUCKS AND YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND THERE IS NO LIVE PERSON TO TALK TO FOR RESOLUTION

I received the $88 charge on my credit card and called the phone number and went to the web site. I got nothing but a runaround. How do they sleep at night?

Total Scam
Posted by Greatgranny on 02/03/2009
SOUTH DAKOTA -- A pop up ad appeared for a trial of Slim Easy for $5.99. This amount was placed on a check card. I never received the trial sample so did not even think to call and cancel. Twenty days after the $5.99 was taken from my account $88.97 was removed. I immediately called but was told to write an email to support services. I did. I also called my bank who called the company for me. Bottom line - Iam out almost $95.00. I did receive the product but never got the sample. It needs to be added to milk to taste good. The amount is so small I doubt if it will do me much good.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is way too expensive. I feel horribly cheated.

I would have the bank file a charge-back to get the money back.

Also, get a new debit card with a new number or they will continue to steal from you.
