JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- My boyfriend and I just purchased a table on Wednesday 12/05/2007. They were going to deliver the table on Saturday. The Gentleman that we purchased the table from keyed it in wrong so the wrong table got delivered so we did not accept the delivery. We called on Saturday to have the store deliver the correct table and now the company is going through bankruptcy. They have just informed us that not only could they not get us the table because they are going through bankruptcy but they can't give us our money back either because they are going through the liquidation process. The lady from the store told me that they can't do any transactions since they are going bankrupt but they can still makes sales.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought a sales was a transaction as well. Now I have no table and no money and the worse part was the lady told me that until the courts say they can refund the money they can't give us our money back and she said that could take years.

Did you pay by credit card? If so you can dispute it.
They made an annoucement on December 3rd that they are closing all stores. Starting December 4th.
I hope you paid by credit card

Agree with Furnitureman. I would sure file a chargeback.
