They messed it up yet again
LAFAYEETE, LOUISIANA -- What happened to me today is only the straw that broke the camel's back. I used to go to the Sonic on Johnston St. in Maurice (city right next to Lafayette), LA at lest 2 times a week. Lately, I haven't ... read full review5 Replies - Latest reply on 05/01/2008
The night time crew at Sonic Drive In, of Alpine TX has some of the worst customer service that I have ever seen. They take 20 minutes just to make an order of fries, that yell at customers and the night time manager does NOT care. They are rude, and almost always get the order WRONG!! I will not be going back to this sonic during the night time. I highly recommend that you don't either!!! 2 Replies - Latest reply on 04/29/2008Add reply
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- My husband visited the Sonic on 4/28/08, he ordered 2 large Oreo blast and 1 order of Cinna buns. When he came home I noticed that the ice cream felt "lite" as if nothing was in the bottom of the cup. So I looked through the ice cream to find that there was NO ice cream at the bottom it was just enough at the top and the rest was filled with whip cream. I was very irritated by this and refused to eat it, so I drove back to the same sonic and requested a refund.

The manager was ghetto and she was a little rude and didn't even try to say sorry, here is something for your trouble or anything. I will NOT visit that Sonic again!
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- My husband ordered at 3:45pm two large cranberry slushes, and one 44oz. diet coke. The three drinks came to $5.28. I left a message at the main office, but have not received a call back.

MONROE, LOUISIANA -- I recently went to Sonic and purchased a Two Jr Wraps. I had heard they were good and being a college student funds are low. Someone told me they were good so I went ahead and bought them. Long story short they were AWFUL. They were far too salty and soggy. I took one bite and end up throwning the food away. That same night I got really ill. That to me was a double injustice. I was bed ridden for 3 days. Not only was the food bad it nearly killed. I used to love their food but what happen recently has turned me completely against them.

I WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE.

LEEDS, ALABAMA -- Earlier today, I went to the Sonic where I live and ordered a chicken strip dinner. I usually do not eat in my car but was strapped for time so I pulled in to a car hop spot. My lunch was about $8.00 (usually I only pay $5.00). However, I got 2 entire meals worth of food. I was already pleased with this.

Then, about 5 minutes later, as I was eating my lunch, there was a light knock on my car window. I roll down the window only to find a friendly genuine smile as the carhop asked if I needed any additional condiments!
Thank you Sonic in Leeds, Alabama for wonderful service!
HUMBLE, TEXAS -- On 1/31/08 I stopped at Sonic at approximately 3 pm. I ordered 2 jalapeño burgers, a large order of onion rings and 2 route 44 cherry limeades. They said the total of the order was $16.65. According to the menu jalapeño cheeseburgers were 4.49 each - 8.98. The large order of onion rings are 1.49 each. So far the total should be $10.47. Adding the route 44 limeades at $1.89 and being happy hour, should have been 2 for 1.89. Total for order should have been $12.36 plus tax. Tax is 8.25%. So total should have been totaling $13.38. The girl that brought me the order said that I got a combo, which I did not order. I got a discount of $1.36 for combo and she said I did not get Happy Hour price because I had already gotten a discount.

I did not order a combo, I ordered 2 jalapeño cheeseburger and a separate order of large onion rings. I feel I got cheated out of $3.27, which goes better in my pocket than theirs. I will think twice before I go back to Sonic and I will surely tell my friends and co-workers.
LA VERNIA, TEXAS -- I am new to La Vernia, Texas. Today, I decided to have lunch at the neighborhood Sonic. When I got my order, it looked as though it was tossed in the bag. As I took out my burger to fix my vegetables, I saw A ROACH!! Needless to say, I was disgusted and appalled by the service and quality. I thought it was a joke and returned my food and asked for my money back.

There is NO WAY I'm eating at Sonic again!! I'm calling the health department on them next.
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- Ok I live in Rochester NY and I have to say I am very disappointed in the fact that you advertise sonic on t.v here and the closest one is Franklin OH. I do not want to drive 7 and a half hours for your food. I lived in Tennessee and was a frequent customer. I love sonic and every time I see the commercial on t.v I get furious about it. It would be great if you would consider putting some in Rochester NY. I know my family and all my friends are dying to try it because i rant and rave about how god it was to have when I lived down south.

I find it messed up there are none in the northern states and feel its not right. So please bring it this way. If your not going to then stop playing the damn commercials. Thank you!
I got a foot long hot dog at the sonic drive in. It was a coupon deal by one, get one free. The hot dogs were very small and tough. We ate them any way. WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR OLD HOT DOGS, THAT WERE BIG.

I know meat is high but this was ridiculous.
DOWNTOWN DENVER, COLORADO -- I try not to bore people with my gripes about FF joints but after reading Shanda's plight yesterday to get a Sonic in her area, I just have to say they just aren't that good! Today, I stood in line for about FOUR minutes to order this Jumbo Popcorn Chicken and what I got was overcooked chicken pieces that were so salty that even the RANCH DRESSING on the side couldn't tone it down. It's risky enough having dipping sauces trying to plop onto your clothing but having to bathe every piece in it is downright scary but I digress.

Their burgers are dry as a bone. Their drinks are pretty good but Micky D's food tastes better than what I have had from Sonic.
So as far as the meal went I give it 2 thumbs down and just a warning to Tabitha/Eillen, there were no visible booster chairs...
My whole point for this complaint is that they don’t have any stores located in the New Jersey area? Only in PA is the closest one to jersey! I don’t think their food should be advertised in New Jersey if they aren’t going to have a store out here. Their food does look really good but it just sucks that there are no Sonics out here!! 9 Replies - Latest reply on 08/30/2007Add reply

Ridiculous charge for water!
MANSFIELD, TEXAS -- So I go to the Sonic in Mansfield TX (FM157) to get a quick burrito before church. As an after thought I added a glass of ice water. The SAME ice water that everyone else (e.g. Jack-In-The-Box, Taco Bueno, ... read full review38 Replies - Latest reply on 11/16/2007
