HUMBLE, TEXAS -- On 1/31/08 I stopped at Sonic at approximately 3 pm. I ordered 2 jalapeño burgers, a large order of onion rings and 2 route 44 cherry limeades. They said the total of the order was $16.65. According to the menu jalapeño cheeseburgers were 4.49 each - 8.98. The large order of onion rings are 1.49 each. So far the total should be $10.47. Adding the route 44 limeades at $1.89 and being happy hour, should have been 2 for 1.89. Total for order should have been $12.36 plus tax. Tax is 8.25%. So total should have been totaling $13.38. The girl that brought me the order said that I got a combo, which I did not order. I got a discount of $1.36 for combo and she said I did not get Happy Hour price because I had already gotten a discount.

I did not order a combo, I ordered 2 jalapeño cheeseburger and a separate order of large onion rings. I feel I got cheated out of $3.27, which goes better in my pocket than theirs. I will think twice before I go back to Sonic and I will surely tell my friends and co-workers.

Went there yesterday, and had a Sonicburger(who puts MAYO on a burger),and a Root Beer float.
The burger(-mayo) was so so,nothing spectacular. The Root Beer float was, as Crzybsh would say "the Shizzle"
99 cents, and youve got yourself a cool, refreshing, tasty beverage.I am a soft serve fan,and it goes great with ice cold Root Beer.

HARTSVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I went to my local Sonic in Hartsville, SC and, as usual, ran into some problems. First, on every order station is a red sign that states if we are not offered a shake, to super-size, or cheese fries, we would be given a $2.00 coupon towarsd our next order. However, when we asked for it, we were told that the program was no longer in effect, the signs notwithstanding. Additionally, our order was delivered short one coney. We hit the call button and informed the lady, and her response was something less than delighted. We got the extra coney and beat a quick retreat to enjoy our meal at home. This is hardly the first time that we have encountered problems at this Sonic, or the first time that we've reported it, but if we get a response, that will be a first.

Despite our love of Sonic's signature foot-long coneys and tater-tots, we've started going less and less because of the frequent problems. I guess since they do good business because of the local kids who go there, they don't care about anything else.
I would like the $2.00 coupon I'm owed and the signs advertising the coupon removed. It would also be nice to ocassionally be able to enjoy a hassle-free meal.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- OMG! I wish I had read this site before purchasing two gift cards on 12/15. They were stocking stuffers and I ended up only giving out one. However, I thought I would just use the left over one on 12/31. It had never been out of my purse, yet $0.00 balance. I don't have a receipt because of some issue inside. I had waited a long time for the food and the gift cards. The girl brought out the food and I didn't wait for them to figure out what was going on. Well, not a good move on my part. However, I read other complaints that said it didn't matter. Receipt or no, there was nothing Sonic would do. So, I sent an email. I tried to call. All I can do now is let everyone know what happened. I am in a car pool that stops at Sonic every day. I'm so going to stop that. I am done with them. It is all I can do at this point.

HEPHZIBAH, GEORGIA -- I don't know where to start. It is just to many problems with the Sonic on 2505 Tobacco Rd Hephzibah, GA 30815-7091 (706) 796-7654. Let's start out with a worm in my strawberry/cherry limeade oh oh oh and the strings in my Java chiller, no wait how about the old crumbling buns, old hamburgers with holes, and charging extra for ingredients that make the product. How are you going to charge me for hot fudge on a sundae when I order a hot fudge Sunday. Or charging me for java mix that makes the java chiller. I have had enough with this location, my next step is a lawyer, the health department, and News 12 on Your Side. I should have done so a long time ago. By the way, if you know someone that works there that trust you a little bit, it's worth chatting with them, they tend to be very honest on "Why you don't want to eat at that location."

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA -- During my last visit at a Sonic Drive-in I encountered very rude customer service. The young man that took my order was yelling into the speaker. He told me they were closed and then he said no we aren't. He asked for my order. Before I proceeded, I asked him to lower his voice and explained tha he was yelling. It was so loud that it hurt my ear. He told me I am not yelling even louder and laughed. I thought this was rather rude. His manager was there and never said a word. Apparently it was the end of his shift because he came outside where he was meet by a co-worker who said that he could hear him all the way by the trash cans in the back of the store. This was the worst customer ezperience ever. The guy was just rude and malicious for no reason. I will never return to this Sonic!!!5 Replies - Latest reply on 07/19/2010Add reply
