Avoid Financing Through Southeast Toyota
Posted by on
I have never experience a place like Southeast Toyota finance. I co-signed for my son to get his first car and believe me it has been the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with. He has been late 3 times in 2-1/2 years and each time I start getting calls from India 8 to 10 times a day trying to get me to go ahead and pay a payment on my credit card. They will harass to know end. The indians are rude and they must be stupid because when you ask them for their name they will give you a name like Gary Johnson or Cathy summers . If they think I would make a payment to someone from India which gives me a phony name and let them have my credit card number then they are sadly mistaken. Also when your late they charge excessive late fees and extension fees etc. They even charge a fee for talking to you on the phone.

We need some Good Lawyers to start a class action suit against them for their dishonest and bullish tactics. I would deal with them again for nothing!

Better idea -- get your son to learn responsibility and make his payments on time. Any lender is going to call you if you pay late!

The Indians aren't stupid, they're told to use American-sounding names. And if the payment weren't late and you hadn't co-signed, you wouldn't be hearing word one from them. Might be time to impress upon your son that his payment history can damage your credit.

Don't blame the collectors for harassing you. Blame your son for making late payments, not once, but three times. Say bye bye to your pristine credit score.

Many companies 'give' there employees new names. Especially in India, where their names are difficult for Americans to pronounce. As for being 'stupid' they are bilingual. How many languages do you speak, fluently? The best way to stop the calls would be to make sure your son pays his bill on time. Better yet, have your son pay you for his car payment. That way you can make sure the bill is paid on time.
