SELECT AN AIRPORT, MASSACHUSETTS -- After arriving at our destination over 2 hours late we received our baggage at baggage claim and the bags were drenched in water. Unfortunately we were on our way to a meeting in the mountains and had our sleeping bags in our luggage. Sleeping bags were drenched. Airline gave me the runaround and informed me that I had to write a letter and send it snail-mail to them and then wait for them to respond.
My flight from Midway Chicago to Phoenix on Monday, September 23. 6 p.m. flight Worst customer service I have ever had. After having to pay $140 to "upgrade" my ticket--and then to have to put up with rude SW employees to board?? Really?? I was too upset to even get their names to report them. My bad. Totally done with SW and their stupid "good luck with getting a seat" seating. Add reply
Southwest Airlines called me twice to tell me my flight was delayed 1 hour. Then when I showed up to the gate one hour before the departure time they told me they had already given my seat away and would not let me on the flight. They never called to say the flight was leaving early. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 07/27/2013Add reply

I don't think Southwest paid their airport fee and are treated less than all the other reputable carriers. Others departed as we sat and watched them pass us up on the Tarmac. Never again to save a few dollars. Those few dollars are gone now that I have to pay for a hotel and rental car because Suckwest can blame it on the weather. Why did the weather not effect the other carriers' flights? 1 Replies - Latest reply on 06/28/2013Add reply

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- It took 4 porters to wheel me from the plane to the baggage claim. There is something going on with those workers. I gave each a tip and one of the crooks stole my $200 money order. What gets me is the fact that no one is being monitored. I believe that TSA, baggage handlers, porters and other employees need to have someone watching there activities more closely. There pillaging and plundering passengers when ever they feel like it. The next time I fly I will be recording everything. 4 Replies - Latest reply on 04/01/2013Add reply
I just wanted to compliment Southwest for their great customer service care. I have flown Southwest my entire life and have loved flying with them. Never encountered a delay and when I slight delay happened they quickly made up time and got us there on time. However this past weekend I had almost a 2 hour delay due to multiple reasons. Upon emailing them I got an email back the very next day with a $100 travel voucher. I am very satisfied with their quick response and the level of care they have for keeping their customers happy. I will without a doubt continue flying with Southwest and enjoy spending my money on travel with them.1 Replies - Latest reply on 09/19/2012Add reply

Customer Service; a fellow named Scott took care of it in a friendly and
efficient manner. He called me back within a few minutes of our ending the previous conversation. He had noticed that TWO of my free roundtrip awards had expired, and told me that, if I paid $ 50 for each, they could be reactivated for a year. Can you name Customer Service, at any company, never mind an airline, that would have called you back to take care of something like this ( actually, UPS did something very similar last year )? Way to go Southwest !!

There's a video on YouTube that shows that the process takes no more than 30 minutes.
I bought my car, new, at that dealership.
