TUKWILA, WASHINGTON -- Went to Sprint Tukwila store re my phone has very weak Wifi, said they would reboot the phone to its initial state to try to fix this. Despite my detailed request that they put all my contacts and photos onto the mini sd disk while they did this the idiot who did it corrupted all the pictures, did not check to be sure they were on the card as requested. .. Just corrupted copies. .. Then flattened the phone loosing my pictures. Sales guy then says well these things happen, sorry about that etc. The word Technician has a much narrower meaning in Tukwila WA1 Replies - Latest reply on 03/05/2014Add reply
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- "Don't be fooled by promise of unlimited data--can't hardly receive the data anyway. Reception was horrible. Sprint told us we were in the shadow, so they provided an mini transmitter that plugs into the internet. It does not work outside, and did not work well inside. Calls constantly dropped. Data reception poor. I would not NOT, use Sprint. We now have AT&T and are very pleased. We can actually use our phones. Rarely do we get a dropped call or dropped data"Add reply
I called Sprint to dispute a bill that charged me in excess for a phone I used for 12 days. After being hung up on twice and an 18 minute hold I was told that the best they could do was a six dollar credit. I don't have the plan anymore, so I'm not really sure what good a six dollar credit is going to do. I was a customer for 5 years and am really glad to know that loyalty doesn't mean anything. BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA -- I signed up with Sprint in butler. When I got the phone home I found I had no service in my area. This after I was assured I did. Sprint even sent me an amplifier which didn't help. So I dropped them because I couldn't even connect with my daughter in the same house. Year goes by. Today my daughter calls me telling me someone called my family claiming to be a police officer. They stated they were trying to find me and couldn't. They gave them a number and a case number to refer to. They told my family that if I didn't respond they would issue a warrant for my arrest!! My daughter was in hysterics when she called me. I called the number and after a run around I was told it was Sprint collections. I asked what gave them the right to imply they were with the police and I was basically told to go to hell!!2 Replies - Latest reply on 02/05/2014Add reply
CALIFORNIA -- I am a senior citizen and been with Sprint cell service since 2004. I had have had no contract for years, Had to renew due to unforeseen circumstances. Signed up for the paperless billing to help with my costs. This was a $1.99 savings each month. Viewed my bill on line and saw a $1.99 charge details for Administrative charges. I contacted customer service last month and the young lady took the charge off my bill after I explained I had paperless billing. So this month I have the same $1.99 charge. I called customer service spoke with Maria, explained again. She said the $1.99 was not for the paperless billing but could not tell me what the charge was for. With much frustration later, I hung up. I then called back and requested a supervisor. put on hold for 10 minutes.
Finally got a person, supervisor?, I don't know. She gave me a bunch of no nothing. Then we got disconnected? Watch the Administration charges. you will never get an answer as to what it is for
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- I have been getting the run around trying to cancel my phone service. They keep trying to get me to keep my service after telling several Sprint employee's I want to cancel. They will not take no for an answer. They lie to me after telling me my contract is cancelled then I find out they never deactivated it so I'm still getting billed. Now they're telling me I signed a new contract and I must pay a cancellation fee. I did not sign any contract and when I asked for a copy of this contract they tell me they cannot give me a copy. After looking on the internet about this problem I see where this is a common practice of "Sprint" to extend people contracts without their permission. Pages and pages of complaints from persons who have had this happen to them also.

This is fraud being committed by Sprint on a daily basic. All I want is to cancel my account. I'm in the process of talking to an attorney to sue Sprint for fraud and the salesperson who committed the fraud. I think a class action lawsuit is in order to stop these actions by Sprint.
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- I contacted Sprint Customer Service because I was receiving Death Threats. The Customer Service representative said that there was nothing they could do about it and I should call the police. I did, and the police did not do anything about it. Things quieted down for a short amount of time but then the Death Threats started up again. I called Sprint Customer Service again and got the same answer. I then filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and got escalated to the Executive and Regulative Services Department. They are also refusing to help and say there is nothing they can do.Add reply
SELLERSBURG, INDIANA -- I have never had such poor customer service and service in my life and now a year later I can't count the number of lies and the hours of hold time and call backs for not one single issue to be resolved. Oh yeah they will tell you everything has been resolved only to find out month after month you have been lied to again and again after many phone calls and countless hours of holding..getting hung up on..the problems still continue while they are more than happy to take your money month after month...what a joke...if you want to talk to someone you can't understand and that can't understand the question you are asking and you have time to call them and sit on hold all day everyday only to get nothing resolved then This Is The Company For You. ..Sprint is a Joke..Never Again!Add reply
KANEOHE, HAWAII -- If you are only going to read a few lines, know to never, ever go with Sprint! Should have stuck with at&t. My family is military and have been stationed overseas for the past five months. Before leaving Hawaii I called to cancel my Sprint account, they assured me that at the end of August the account would be canceled. It was not canceled until November. I have emailed my orders and faxed them twice, with no acknowledgement. I still call Sprint two or three times a week, with the calls lasting 30 minutes to an hour only to be transferred from one department to the other. They have not waiver the early termination fee and still insist that I pay for the months of service I was not using the phone and trying to get it canceled. I am concerned about my credit score and if they will ever resolve this matter. If you value your money and time AVOID SPRINT, AT&T is the best. My biggest phone service regret is leaving them and signing up for Sprint, there service drops many calls in Hawaii. AT&T provided a much better service, now I know!Add reply
I left Sprint a few months after my contract was up. I unfortunately auto pay my bills early online. I had 6 weeks pre-paid on my account. Sprint's official policy is that you leave them, them do not reimburse any credit on your account. So they have stolen $300 from me.
Beware. If you leave Sprint only do so when you owe them. They will pro-rate and bill you, but they will NOT reimburse you.
DETROIT, MICHIGAN -- Was lead into the contract with an amazing offer.
Offer changed a month after I signed the contract. I was not notified of the change in any way, not grandfathered into it, even though that was the only reason I signed up.
Getting out of the contract meant huge fines, support staff were downright rude.
Especially one called Miriam [snip]. I can't believe they would tell me they are recording our talks and then act so rudely, refuse to let me speak to a supervisor or to provide me with their name or ID - took me forever to get this one, and I hope everyone knows how terrible she is.
NO discount in the world is worth dealing with these people.
Trust me, pay double or even triple to the competitor and save yourself the headache of dealing with Sprint!
GROVE CITY, OHIO -- After questions about contract and sales representative answers, felt OK, to sign a 2 year Contract. Sprint sent, a Welcome to Sprint letter, after the 14 day return period aloud with there contract. This gives a break down of the Contract Prices. I purchased an unlimited plan, found out, extra charges are added, as if I had purchased any of there plans that charge for over use of limited services, which " unlimited " must mean charge me what you want. I Live in the USA and you will not talk to a USA representative other than the sale rep, all my phone calls went to Spanish or French speaking people trying to THINK and sound as Americans.
( Beware of the credit check ) every one is charged a fee for the credit line you receive, what ever your plan is, weather you use it or not. Another hidden fee not explained the way the contract is used by Sprint. (FRAUD) I will file with The State of Ohio, Atty Gen's Office.
Sprint, I know you'll read this, note, The People working for you should use there real names not American chosen names to work under, If employee's must hide their real names, they must be very proud to work for You. An Onion is still an Onion, smells bad.........
I work for a 88,000 employee corporation and Sprint gives us a 25% discount. They just took the discount away ten months ago because upgraded my phone and not to my knowledge, I was supposed to request the discount again within 30 days or I loose my 25% discount benefit. What a scam. Add reply
ROGERS, ARKANSAS -- Sprint ran a student promotion. If you purchased your phone full price at Best Buy, Sprint gave you free service for a yr. However, Sprint never honored their side. They claim they didn't receive the documents. Yet I have confirmations from Best Buy and the Sprint store in Rogers that the faxes went through. I also filed the papers on line more than 10 times. They just don't want to honor their promotions. Its a scam to get you to buy the phone at full price. I'm fixing to return my phone! Sprint is a liar and a rip off stay away!Add reply
