Worst Cell Phone Coverage I've Ever Experienced.

NATION WIDE -- Sprint service and mobile network is deplorable. I've been on a "working" vacation for the last week and havp spotty at best service. I had AT&T previously and always had great reception and data coverage in the same area of the state. I made the mistake of trusting Sprint's ads and assumed at this point in the evolution of the phone industry that they were pretty much all the same. Boy was I wrong!! GOING BACK TO AT&T AS SOON AS I GET HOME!!! By the way, luckily I found a wireless network in a restaurant to write this review.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Sprint is the worse company in the world. The service is horrible. You can't talk on the phone and text unless you connected to wifi or you can't get on the web unless you connected to wifi. Also I never signed up for auto pay to come out my account because I like to manage my money. But guess what? Sprint doesn't care. They took 269 out my account plus overdraft my account. So I called and they say I have to wait 7-10 business days until my money is back into my account but it took y'all 1 sec to take it out. If I wasn't under a contract I would've been left they ass.

Slowest Cell Service Ever

USA, CALIFORNIA -- I bought 3 new phones for work. Two Samsung Galaxy S7 and one Apple iPhone 7. I came from the AT&T network which wasn't too bad but expensive. Have been on the Sprint network about 2 months now. The Sprint network is absolutely the slowest network ever. I downloaded Speed Test from the Play Store to see my speeds and they were averaging .40 mbps or under! Sometimes as low as .04 mbps. Called tech support. They said I was in a full coverage area and reset my phone. Did not change the speed. If you want really really slow service then you will like Sprint. Otherwise I recommend you go with a different network that doesn't use Sprint.

Worst Service Ever - Complete Ineptitude At Every Turn

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- I decided to switch my business cell plan from AT&T to Sprint due to substantial cost savings. The Sprint representative assured me that my current devices (iPhones and iPads) would all port over to their network. They would not. After deciding that the cost savings still outweighed the cost of new devices and my frustration at being mislead I continued moving forward with Sprint. Huge mistake!

After two months of having the wrong devices ordered, billing mistakes, continuous lies from the representative and awful customer service, I scrapped Sprint. I sent their devices back and had everything ported back over to AT&T. That process took about an hour. Sprint provided the worst customer service experience I have ever had in any industry with any product. They are wholly inept at every aspect of business. Not only are they not able to solve any problem, they are completely unwilling to provide any customer solutions.

Weaker Signal < Verizon & AT&T

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA -- Changed from Verizon to Sprint due to apparent better package prices; I have 3 iPhones: Sprint service for voice calls is very weak and sometimes none, even within the City populated areas (Bakersfield). Internet is most of the time showing "3G" OR Nothing which is completely inoperable; "LT" connection is very rare throughout the ENTIRE BAY AREA TO LOS ANGELES CA. I can even operate my Maps app when LT is not available. VERY UNRELIABLE!!!

When I see Ex-Verizon Commercial Guy saying Sprint is better... He's lying to everyone ~ Cheaper than Verizon but Overpriced for the service provided. ANY PHONE SERVICE IS OVERPRICED OVER $50.

TIMONIUM, MARYLAND -- 2 years ago I got a contract with Sprint for 2 years. The deal was I pay extra for my phone so I can eventually own it. So I was paying all this extra money a month so I can pay off my phone. They tell me and my boyfriend after our contract was up that we will never own the phone. What? But we were paying it off to own it. Then they say "you can buy it for 250!" Like seriously?

So we were paying all this money for no ownership of the phone. So basically it was a rent to rent deal not rent to own? On top of that the bill should have been getting lower when it was being raised. Omg really! They will do anything to screw you out of money. Their service is horrible! I haven't been able to make calls or receive them. So screwed up! Switch to Verizon.

Renewing Contract

I have been with Sprint for 14 years. I have 3 lines with them. One of the lines was up for an upgrade so we went to a Sprint store to get a new phone and renew our contract. Well I was informed that "you can only renew a contract over the phone or online. You cannot do this in any Sprint store." I was also informed that "if you renew a contract and upgrade your phone you will pay an additional 25.00 a month for the 2 years." So the cost of the phone would be 349.00 plus the 25.00 a month fee. Total for phone 949.00.

In other words you are being punished for signing a new contract because they do not want you to get a new phone at a discounted price. I was told Sprint no longer wants to do 2 year contracts so I guess this is how they get people to agree to no contracts.

LAS VEGAS -- I bought an expensive phone from Sprint that didn't work correctly. They said it was covered under the 30 day money back guarantee, but that if I let them take extra time to try to get it to work it would still be covered. So I tried for months, on the phone with them for hours every week, and it wasn't doing anything except taking up massive amounts of my time that I should have been spending working, and thus costing me hundreds of dollars more. So I eventually canceled service and returned the phone. They accepted the return, but never gave me a refund.

Now they have my phone and my money, and I'm wrestling with the credit card company I paid them through to get it back. And they are trying to charge me for $200 worth of things that I don't recognize as well. This company is a nightmare. They are just a bunch of corrupt, thieving gangsters. Go anywhere else. You will be safer there.

Sprint Changed My Phone Number Without My Consent

Rating: 1/51

It all started when I was telling an agent from Sprint about my dissatisfaction of cell service while visiting family. He told me that there wasn't a signal there and that I would have roaming charges. I asked, "What if I moved there then what." He asked for the address and then said I would have to use a different area code then I would have service. That can't be true. I know a lot of people that live in different addresses than their phone's zip codes. Then all of a sudden the agent changed my phone number just like that, without my consent, without any approval whatsoever!

Then the agent that changed my number upon hearing that I didn't want my number changed and I didn't authorize that hung up on me. I talked to a supervisor and they said my number could be changed in 4 hours. Those hours came and went and my number wasn't changed back. I called Sprint again and the agent claimed they could help me but alas they could not and transferred me to the tech department and they couldn't help me either and said they would call back in the morning. No call back. I called Sprint and the same scenario always played out.

The agent said they could help me but they can't, transfer to tech, drop call, start over, agent said they can help, they can't, transfer...On and on for two days and it's still going on as we speak. Meanwhile no number works on my phone in or out. No one can call me and I can't call anyone. I've never been more upset with the service from a company in all my life.

Plan Pricing on Website

I looked at Sprint's website for their plans as I am going to change carriers due to poor signal at home. I called the customer service to ask some questions. The website said 1 line and 1GB date was $20/month and in small letters it said there was an extra $20 fee for data sharing and I was told in a round about way as they did not want to disclose that the min. cost for that line was $40 per month. It took a lot of questions and direct ones at that to find this out. Any company that tries to trick you by giving an incorrect pricing to lure you in when you're not a customer what will they do after you are a customer? I wrote them off of my list of companies to consider.
