With the new Sprint news they are happy about offering 4G service and bring in the Holidays with 10 times faster data. but how ironic I click on the link to get more news about the service I already have which is supposed to be 4G and this message I get "Error establishing a database connection" Add reply
Customer Service at Its Worst
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I have recently tested Sprint service and have had some service challenges that I want you to be aware of.
I purchased 2 iPhones and switched my services from Verizon Wireless to Sprint on 11/15/2013 ... read full review
CARSON CITY, NEVADA -- I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years. In August 2013 Sprint claims they are updating towers and start giving me credits because of dropped calls, no service, no data, and unable to send text messages. In October I finally get an airwave that only makes my phone work in my house. In November I finally changed providers, Sprint refused to let me out of my contract, I left anyways. The reps lied and made excuses. I had one young man tell me my service was great, even though I was unable to use the services I was paying for.Add reply
I DONT KNOW -- I personally contacted Sprint after years of being a customer. First I had 2 lines, one was new and the second had time on 2 year plan. I separated and the new number was given to the other person. So I should not have contract - it went with other person and number. Then my Sprint phone will not make calls or answer so I take it in and they cannot fix it or work on it and won't give me a loaner phone. So now I'm to pay a bill and not have a phone to use. So I decide to cancel and get service somewhere that will not charge for no service.
Low and behold now they want me to pay for canceling the 2 year contract that I did not have to begin with.
DETROIT, MICHIGAN -- Sprint has the worst coverage I've ever experienced. The phone is useless at any sporting event or concert. You cannot send or receive calls or texts in a crowd, and good luck trying to use the internet. Even under the best of conditions their internet signal never works for me. I have a tower less that a quarter mile from my house and I can't get a usable signal. Sprint can afford to give unlimited data because you can't get a signal strong enough that you will actually use any data. It's so frustrating that I rarely even try to use it.
Customer service is non existent. I truly hate this company and wish they would go out of business so I can get out without waiting another year for the $1200 cancellation penalty to pass...
PORTLAND, OREGON -- I had tried T-mobile, AT&T and Sprint. Sprint is a night mare. Moved to a new location In Portland OR and had very poor coverage at my house. 99.9% of calls fail and no 3G what so ever. Sprint refused to cancel service and was saying we have good coverage there. Sprint been very bad in Portland. Calls fail and 3G being very slow. Had to complain to BBB to end with Sprint. Never ever will I come back to Sprint. Costumer service just the worst place you can call, same with Sprint stores. Save your self a headache and don't get Sprint.Add reply
LEBANON, OHIO -- For most of 2013 the cell tower that fed our business was off line. 70% of
our business communications is conducted daily from our office and this had a real impact on our business. We were told lie after lie for the reason the towers were down and dealing with customer service is a nightmare on the ship of fools. we had to switch to Verizon and they would not let us out of our contract after being with them for 7 years.
Do not do business with Sprint! A very unprofessional company without a good business model for customers.
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I just recently ended my two year contract with Sprint and I have to say it was the LONGEST 2 years of my life with respect to the service that I received during the time. I have had all 4 national major carriers in this country and the service that I received with Sprint was less than horrible. Very spotty coverage (and that with me going back and forth between two major US cities, Orlando and Miami FL) and not the mention the almost non-existent data speeds. They said that their speeds were 3G but more often than not when I checked the speeds on my phone I would literally get 0 download speeds and upload speeds of less than 1mgb/s. The frustration that I would go through was unbearable, with most of the time me having to give up on what I was trying to do because between the buffering and the no-signal I would go crazy. I even called them once to correct a mistake THEY had made when I first opened the contract and they put in the wrong employee discount for my company, they said that for them to correct it I had to re-start the 2 year agreement again, needless to say I laughed in their face and forgot about that.
Never again with this company. I ended up going back to AT&T, although more expensive and lacking unlimited data, I would rather have that than the frustration that I had with Spring (for a few dollars less) for two whole years.
Sprint Did Not Make Me Whole
PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS -- In summary, this summer I switched to Sprint and got a Sprint-branded phone for my oldest (autistic) son. His phone is key to his day, it is a great avenue to handle some of his fidgety behavior. Dual-core, ... read full review1 Replies - Latest reply on 11/06/2013
MAYSLANDING, NEW JERSEY -- I have technical problems with my Sprint phone and they gave me the run around for a month. They were to replace it and they tried to give me another phone which I refused to accept so now I as a customer was treated like the bad guy. They told me to accept this phone or renew my contract or pay a deductible to get a new phone and all I wanted was my original phone . I have insurance on this phone and been with Sprint for 9 yrs and they treat you like crap except one guy in Houston Texas that told the Sprint store to order me another same brand name but different phone. Customer service of Sprint the 800 num or 888 num connected me to Samsung to get another phone which they weren't suppose to and I had been on the phone for 2 hrs with Sprint trying to get my problem solved and to no avail I didn't.
Every time Sprint gives me a refurbish phone they have problems with them and when I try to get it solved they give me the run around. My phone is a result of them and nothing I did and now they are loosing a good customer. Its said when you can't get a good phone company who will honor their code.
I have had no service or reception with this poor company for over 2 months, and one month the credited me some money back not nearly enough though. The second month we decided enough was enough, and switched phone companies, they won't credit my account for the second month I had with no service! My friend had the same issue, and they gave him over 200 dollars back on his 2 months of bills, I told them about it and they said it doesn't work the same for everyone!! OK WHY NOT ISN'T THAT THE WAY YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD WORK??????? So I would very highly suggest that if anyone is with this poor company, or thinking of going here don't/ or get out of there ASAP!!!
I agree with other comments on here that we should all get together here and take em to court and get out money and time back!!!
Sprint Wireless has proved to me that it is a dysfunctional company with indecent business practices. I made the decision to switch to Sprint because their coverage map showed that I would receive perfect ... read full review1 Replies - Latest reply on 10/29/2013
We could not make or receive phone calls much less data the entire pregame, during game, or post game while at the World Series in St Louis. This in a city of 3+ million population, only 3.5 hours from Sprints HQ that still does not have full LTE service. Also not shocking to find Sprints website "unavailable" this morning Add reply
