DALLAS, TEXAS -- Regarding the failure of the transmission in 1999Acura CL. The previous post states the transmission failed at 80,000 and this was unacceptable. My 1999 CL transmission failed at 24,000miles which I would think would be grounds for a new transmission . Acura replaced the transmission with a REBUILT TRANSMISSION, AND WARRANTED IT FOR 12,000 MILES. There have been numerous problems with this 99CL , and now the EGR is out for the second time. It was supposedly fixed at 29,000miles but it is now inoperable again. This is the first Honda product I have owned and in considering this at this time it may be the last. I was in the process of purchasing a new Honda, but in thinking about my experiences with this Honda product I am now hesitating.

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I want to take this time to extend my sincere appreciation to the Service Department in their excellent customer service. I've been through other dealerships that just want to make a quick buck and don't want anything to do with you afterwards. Sterling McCall Acura is nothing like that and I would definitely buy another car from them for the service alone. They're a hard act to follow. Keep up the good work!
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Have the managers give everyone a pat on the back who works at that dealership for a job well done.
