SENECA, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Really looked forward to trying this sub. I love pastrami. The pics showed a nicely sliced sandwich. Looked great, but what we got looked more like the cut off fat and waste scraps that the butcher usually throws out. There were no slices to it. It was hard to eat for have to pull out the fat and non chewable waste in each bite. There didn't seem to be hardly any quality meat to it. Has Subway got so greedy that they are buying scraps from butcher shops and passing them off as food? You got me on this one but for now on I'm going elsewhereAdd reply

Seafood Sub Was Eliminated
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- I can't believe after nearly 20 years on the menu the seafood sub is being eliminated. It's not like they made it with real crab and lobster, but the sauce and the sweetness made for a really good sandwich. ... read full review2 Replies - Latest reply on 08/11/2013
PORT HURON -- I have been going to Subway for years to get subs. The only reason I have been going there is because I have always been able to choose swiss cheese on my sub. Imagine my shock when I went strolling in one day to get my usual, a Subway club, and when she asked me what kind of cheese I wanted I naturally said Swiss cheese. She then informed me that they no longer offer Swiss cheese.

She said the company voted on the cheese that was popular and Swiss cheese did not get on the list. What!!! Not on the list since when does a list take priority over the customer. I pay good money for my sub and I should be able to have Swiss cheese if I want it. Shame on you Subway you are just interested in your bottom line now, and the customer and his desire does not mean squat to you anymore. I did log a complaint on their website after my disappointing experience. I have yet to hear back from anyone.
Well needless to say I will never return to any Subway restaurant. I will go where I can get what I want, jimmy johns, jets pizza, walmart deli, which by the way they will pile meats and cheese on there subs, oh and there is, markets of meijers, mancinos, you get the picture subway.? I am pissed off in Port Huron MI.
MERIDIAN, MISSISSIPPI -- My friend & I visited Subway tonight at approx 10:00. Neither of the two workers could agree on what price to charge for our meals. The first clerk comes to the window and says that will be $13.38. I pay her & then she comes back and says that she didn't charge enough according to the other clerk. So I asked how much more do I owe you & the other clerk says about $7.00. I said about? Break that down for me so I can better understand.

She then goes to the register and keys in info & says total is $20.38. So I give her $7.00. She gives me back $1.00 change. Now all I ordered was two sandwiches & two drinks. I did ask for chips but never received those. My my Subway how much are your sandwiches. Do they just make their prices up as they go? I don't think I've ever paid $20 for two subs anywhere USA!
300 WEST PRATT STREET, MARYLAND -- I went to the Subway in front of the Gallery mall for dinner after work to get a sandwich. This guy who was working there started asking me all these stupid questions like where are you from, where do you live blah blah blah! It felt like he was taking my interview and It was kind of annoying! I think as a customer that's not what they should be doing! Getting too friendly with your customer is inappropriate !1 Replies - Latest reply on 05/24/2013Add reply
MONTGOMERY, TEXAS -- Subway stores have a long running advertising campaign that claims you can get 2 regular footlong subs for $10 after 4 and on Sundays.

We ordered two subs (roast beef and meatball) last night. We had gotten that combo before for $10 about ten days ago.
The cashier charged us $14 -- more than 40% more than the advertised price!
The reason? "Oh, we changed the categorization of the subs yesterday and the promotion. We only honor that deal for $6 subs and roast beef is no longer a $6 sub."
I felt ripped off -- if you change the deal, change the sign. It's a cheap trick and typical of this chain.
i fell victim to a similar trick at another store -- an advertisement for a $5.25 meal of drink, sandwich, and side. There is a list of sides on the wall, but (guess what?) not all of them are included in the advertised deal. only those that no one trying to eat healthy would want.
If you are counting on an advertisement, shop carefully at this chain.
I have recently been to Subway in Hazel Park and Madison Heights most recently. .Bread was not soft and fresh and sandwich just doesn't taste fresh and good with what felt and tasted like day old.

This has happened too often and will not return as don't like getting old bread. The fresh advertising just doesn't fit.
Their add on TV shows 4 meatballs on the 2.00 meatball special. when I picked up the sandwich it had 3 small meatballs and a little sauce. The sandwich was mostly bread. 3 Replies - Latest reply on 12/17/2012Add reply
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I visited a Subway in Myrtle Beach on Dick Pond Rd 11/04/2012 and attempted to use a coupon from the Grand Strand Attractions book for Subway which clearly states the offer as being "Free Subway sub of your choice with the purchase of a Subway sub of equal or greater value" I was told "We are not honoring those coupons" I pointed out that the coupon was from the new book and didn't expire until 12/31/2013. She said it didn't matter and they would not honor it. Total bait & switch scam. I won't be back.5 Replies - Latest reply on 02/24/2013Add reply
FT. MYERS, FLORIDA -- I recently went to the local Subway around the corner from my house to get three foot long subs--one of which was B. L.T. The girl made all the subs, I paid and then went home. When I got home, the B. L.T. did not have any lettuce or tomato on it. Now, it's been my experience that a B. L.T. is bacon, lettuce and tomato, right?

I called the girl to tell her she didn't put the lettuce or tomato on it, and she said that some people don't want all the veggies on their sandwiches. Who orders a B. L.T. and doesn't get lettuce or tomato on it?
I went back there, and after explaining that I expected lettuce and tomato on a B. L.T., I guess she called the manager and told her what was going on. After she got off the phone, she made me a new sandwich and I was on my way. This girl was trying to tell me how I should have my sandwich, and I seriously tried to be polite, but I was also assertive.
