DULUTH, GEORGIA -- We have Terminix come quarterly and they came in March when we were out of town but did not have access to the back deck. My daughter saw a roach crawled out from under her chair so we had them come out again and spray the back deck. However, we had to call back again because right after that, she was taking me to the bathroom when I noticed a stink bug crawling around her neck, which she brought inside with her. She got it off of her and it disappeared but then we found the stink bug crawling on me. I can't have bugs at my house so she called Terminix and rescheduled a different visit, but the Terminix rep said that it had to be 10 days between visits.

Other than that, there's no problem scheduling the service and I don't have to be home when they come. They also send me an email notification that they are coming. The tech is very professional and he does what he's supposed to do then leaves. Everyone who's been out here has treated us with respect as well as our house and grounds. I'm very pleased with Terminix and there's less pest activity here in our home since having their service.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- I've had a great experience with Terminix. I thought a possum came into our house so I called them. The girls at their call center were very nice when scheduling the service and they directed me to whom I needed to speak to so that they could send the correct person to look at my home to see what the situation was.

Vincent was the first to come to my house to determine what the problem was and he was very good, nice, and very professional. He came in, asked me questions of what were the things that I had seen, then he looked inside the house and in the attic. He said it wasn't a possum and that it's a rat. And, there's not only one but three. Then he told me about the plan they have for me. I asked if they were gonna come and pick up the rat when it's caught and he said he will, so I got their service.

Then John is my tech now and he came to the house, put the trap, and sprayed around the house. He's been really nice and professional as well. The first day he put the trap, the rat from the attic was caught first. I texted him and he answered right the next morning and told me what time he'll be around. But my husband had already picked the rats up and threw them away. John came over and made sure that we didn't have more. Terminix was able to exterminate the problem and I would recommend them to anyone.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- When Terminix comes to service, it's usually a guy that we know and he knows the place very well, so we just open the gate for him in the back. Then he does his thing and leaves. It's nice to have the same guy. We get a service regularly unless we call them when there's an issue. Ants are usually our major problem and when we reach out to Terminix, they've responded. It's good to know that they'll jump to it and get it taken care of for us. Scheduling a service is easy. I do it online or call them. Since we've had their service, the pest activity at our home has been under control. I'd recommend them.

Mackenzie: Our call may be recorded. How was your process with Terminix? Is it always good and are they friendly when they have to come out to your home?

Dianne: Yes.

Mackenzie: Do you have them come out every quarter?

Dianne: No. We only have them annually for termites. Not for pest control.

Mackenzie: The termite situation, has that improved since they've been out?

Dianne: They treated us quite a few years ago. And now, we're under an annual contract. So, they come out to do an inspection once a year.

Mackenzie: Is there any other comments or any specific experiences with Terminix you would like to mention?

Dianne: No. I can always count on them to call us. Say, it's time for the inspection and they come. And they're very professional. So, it's very satisfactory for us.

Mackenzie: Would it actually be okay if we posted some of your comments on our website so we can make your feedback available to Terminix? It's just basically to let them know how they're doing so far. We could also do it anonymously.

Dianne: Well, that's fine.

Mackenzie: How do you think you and your husband will probably rate Terminix on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 means you would recommend, 1 means you're very dissatisfied?

Ron: Well, the only experience I've had with Terminix is when I had them come out. They did a good job drilling out and getting—for the termite treatment. They did a really good job. Of course, the guy that came in the house, he sprayed. Do you have any problems with termites? They've been real good. Once in a while, we'll run across a stink bug or something but he doesn't last long. [Laughs] But, no, our experience has been really, really nice. We're overall pleased with the service.

Mackenzie: Do you have them come out just quarterly?

Ron: Yeah. I had the big treatment. And then, I guess the guy came out to do the spray on the inside-out. We'll see them again for about another couple of months, I guess.

Mackenzie: How would you rate Terminix, so far, on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 probably means you would recommend them and 1 means you're very dissatisfied?

Ron: How about 4.875?

Mackenzie: What we can actually do is just, of course, just the full stars. Would a 4 be okay?

Ron: Yeah. But I have no negative comments. So just give them a 5.

Mackenzie: Would it actually be okay if we posted some of your comments on our website so we can make your feedback available?

Ron: Sure. Sure. No problem.

DULUTH, GEORGIA -- Our experience with Terminix has been good. The guy who comes and spray is the same person who comes every time since I moved. We tell him if we see some weird stuff and he takes care of it. He's a very nice guy. However, their website is not so user-friendly in terms of changing the payment method. I did not call the customer service yet to resolve this but it wasn't so convenient. I have a credit card that I don't want to use anymore but I'm not able to remove it from the website. Also, their price is a bit more expensive than the market. I know the quality of the service but, it's still expensive. But I'm happy with the service and I didn't see any problems in my house.

OWINGS MILLS, MARYLAND -- We were with another company that was bought by Terminix. The transition has been seamless and they picked up the schedule where the last company left off. The tech came for a routine spray for the first time last month. We asked him for some additional traps in our garage because we noticed a mouse in there recently. He left a couple sets of the containers that have poison in them.

The tech was helpful and pleasant and explained what he was going to leave behind because it was different from what we had before. My husband said he thought it looked like the container maybe had been moved and that a mouse had taken some of the bait. We haven't noticed any activities since that happened. Overall, it was a positive experience.

GREENSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- I have two accounts with Terminix. One is for my son's home and the other one is for our home. They recently came and did my pest control. The technician was on time and very courteous. He came through the house, and sprayed through and around the house.

I look on my web page and it will say when our service is to be scheduled. There was a time when they scheduled an appointment for me at the first of the month, but I thought that was awful early because the tech always comes about the same time of the month when he's due. So, I know that he'll be here within the time period between the 15th and the 20th.

Nevertheless, I stayed here and waited. I got a call from the tech, but it was another gentleman that was supposed to show up, not the guy that usually comes out here, and this other tech left the phone number for me to call. But then, I needed the code or password to get into it.

Other than that, however, there's never been a problem with the scheduling of our service. I usually know when the tech is coming. Since our service with Terminix, I don't have any problems at all with pests. They're taking care of my pest problems and they've been good.

BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA -- Scheduling a service is not very good. Terminix will send messages out but they don't coordinate with the person who was supposed to do the work. It happened seven times. They sent out messages saying that the person was supposed to come and I waited around and no one showed up. So, I worked the issue out with the guy who normally comes to our house. He lets me know when he's coming. He is very good, thorough, and competent.

I don't trust the other people that Terminix sent out. One guy was supposed to check some ants or termites in one area, but he didn't do anything and wrote up as if he did the whole termite inspection. He didn't even get down on his hands and knees to look at the termites. So, Terminix sent me a notice that they've done their annual termite inspection and I went ballistic when they hadn't. Terminix is not as good in handling things.

They then sent out the regular person when it was the right time to come do the inspection and he checked everything out so I trust him. I haven't had problems with the carpenter ants and anything with the termites outside.

ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- My experience with Terminix has been very good and I don't see any pest activity since I got the service. I had a problem with a lot of spiders in the basement, and since I added a service concerning that to my contract, I haven't had any problem.

I like both men who come to handle my house. They're very thoughtful. One of them does my outside stuff, inspects for spiders and he also goes down the basement. When he was here the last time, I was complaining because my chair glide was out of order and the guy who is to take care of it wasn't going to be here for three days. He went down in the basement and did his inspection. And then he called up from there and asked me if I needed him to bring up something from the basement while he was down there. I couldn't believe he thought about that. When they're ready to leave, they both said they locked the door after them. They thought about that, too.

I had an occasion where the gentleman called me on the phone one day and said that he was outside my house for inspection, and I said, "What?" He asked if I got a call, and I said, "No." He then came in and checked it and he told me the number that was on the file and it was not mine at all. I didn't know how that happened, but he got it changed. And then the last time, I already got an email telling me of my business.
