COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Came to the location on Friday. Have service doing spoke to. He supposed to put the info in the computer. He didn't he said he will have my part by Monday. Guess what no part came in on Monday. Spoke to someone else. They had no ideal what I was talking about. Now the day is Tuesday. He have my car. Still the same problem no part. I had to call his manager. Guess what happen. There nothing no help at all.

I call a part store they said that Tire Kingdom just call for the same part. He told me had to get the part from the deal. I call the deal and it will take two day to order and said my car will be ready tomorrow. You get it... He just lied to me again. Poor customer service at the Garner Ferry location. And if you look good he want to talk to you and your phone #. He ask me about my personal life instead of my car. Poor service.

Then I ask for the district manager # he gave me a fax number. This no help. DISTRICT MANAGER you suck. That is his district manager. Please don't call him. You will not get any help. She call he didn't wanted to hear a word she had to say... this is what my daughter went through.

Horrible Service BEWARE

KENNER, LOUISIANA -- My issue began at the Tire Kingdom in Kenner. They installed wrong size tires...:( I then had to go to Tire Kingdom in Baton Rouge/ESSEN ln because of a blow out only to realize I had the wrong size tires on. Well they corrected the issue but didn't balance the three tires they replaced. Even though they claim they were "fixing" the incorrect work of the other store in Kenner.

My car drove so funny after this. The next week I went to Tire Kingdom Kenner to explain that I didn't think my tires were balanced. After two drives with the manager who swore there was no issue; after he made me wait until he serviced everyone else because "I had no problem"; after going back and forth he finally looked at the tires. AND LO AND BEHOLD they weren't balanced!!! Needless to say I was there for three hours going back and forth before he realized I knew what I was talking about. Will never do business with any Tire Kingdom again and I would suggest you don't either!!!

Horrible Service and Uneducated Staff
By -

HARVEY, LOUISIANA -- This location sucks! I've personally witnessed the staff quote different prices to different customers for identical services to be performed. The management and staff are very unprofessional and everyone including the manager walks around with their trouser half off their butts. They are always on their cell phone or the establishment's phone conducting personally conversation while customers are waiting. They also assist people that they know personally ahead of waiting customers. When the customers walk out they use expletives expressing how they don't care that the customer left and that they can go elsewhere.

I personally think they are ripping the company off at the customer's expense. They jack up the prices due to tire diameter which doesn't happen at Firestone or Pep boys. I was verbally quoted a price of $79 for an alignment and presented with paperwork for $169. I was told this was due to the car having 20 inch wheels. On another occasion I was told that it would cost $45 per tire to mount and balance 2 tires that were already off of the vehicle. Nearly $100 to mount and balance 2 tires is ridiculous when other places do it for as low as $17 per tire.

The manager proceeded to ask 3 of the staff members who were sitting in the back doing nothing except smoking (I believe it was marijuana) if they felt like doing it. They all declined and I was told that they couldn't do it at that time. I must note that it wasn't lunch time or near the time the establishment closes. I would ride on my axle before I'd take a vehicle there to have any service performed!

What One May Get at Tire Kingdom for 9.99$ Oil Change Deal
By -

DORAL -- I have an old Honda Accord 93 with mileage 178K. Being an old car I make it a point to get the basic services done regularly. This time I got lured by a deal in the internet for oil change for $9.99 at Tire Kingdom. We left the car at the service station at Doral as the wait time was approximately for an hour and a half. The sales representative later called saying that the oil pan was not good and its threads were all stripped, with an estimate to repair the same for $ 400plus.

I have been an owner of this car for past 5 years and have changed oil every 3 months religiously, never ever did I get to hear about such an issue. After they changed the oil there is a constant leak of oil from the car and I am sure it will not take more than a day for the oil to completely drain off. When I dropped of the car it was perfectly fine with no leaks at all.

The sales representative was insisting like a baby and confidently claimed the stripping was because of the guys who did the previous oil change. After I refused to make any fix to the car in terms of the oil leak, the sales representative wrote a note saying that he would never change the oil of my car ever. What a service in $9.99!!! My mistake was to get lured with $9.99 money saver deal and go to such a non professional service center who can't do what they claim to be their forte, instead leave my car with an oil leak.

Service

SARASOTA -- I have gone to the local Tire Kingdom 3 times to try to have tires fixed or replaced. The service man there all three times was on the phone talking to someone that didn't sound like business. After waiting at least 7 or more minutes he would then ask what I needed. Mind you each time is at opening and I am the only one in the store except today another man was in the store. Each time I am told it will be another hr before they can help me. They open at 8 am and I am there at 8 am. They never seem to have the staff.

Tire Kingdom - Don't Go There
By -

CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA -- I brought my truck in to have new tires installed and not only did they mount one of them wrong (which nearly caused a blow out), they put different weights on each tire so that it was out of balance within 4 months of being installed (costing me money to have new weights installed, realigned and balanced), and they broke off two lug nuts which I also had to pay later to fix. The service the day of was bad, the work was amateurish and I had to wait 7 hours with an appointment to add insult to injury. Do not take your vehicle to them unless you want it to be less safe than when you brought it in!!! I will be writing a formal complaint to their company headquarters.

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- I brought my car to Tire Kingdom and these people messed up my wheel stud and cross thread my lug and would not fix it. The regional guy call me the next day after making a complaint and was so ignorant, he being in that top position don't even know how to talk to people himself. I will never bring my car to another Tire Kingdom and I wouldn't advice or recommend anyone to.

He called me from phone number 561-702-7899. The Tire Kingdom is on North Jog Road in West Palm Beach, FL. Very bad service and customer service. I have being going to Tire Kingdom for years but I realize what everybody being telling me not to use their services. Find someone to work on your car or take it to the dealer.

Tire Kingdom will cost you to have costly repairs.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- I will never recommend anyone to go to Tire Kingdom. My check engine light kept coming on and I didn't know why. I had just purchased a new Throttle Position Sensor for my car and every now and then the engine light would come on and then it would go back off, so quite naturally I thought I had bought a defective part. I had someone to check it and that wasn't the problem. So, I ignored it because I knew I had just had an oil change in October of 2009.

Then the week of December 28, 2009 my car didn't sound right when cranking it. It sounded real rough. So, at that time I said to myself, I better check my oil and it was a good thing that I did. My engine was "PLUM DRY", and I didn't have another way to the store to purchase any oil so I had to drive it approximately a half of a mile. And because I had to be somewhere at that time I had to purchase 5 quarts of oil that cost just as much as an oil change. So, they evidently didn't put enough of oil in my car, because even when I can't afford an oil change on schedule, it has never been "PLUM DRY", it may have been black. They almost cost my engine to "BLOW".

Never Get an Oil Change Here
By -

TAMPA, FLORIDA -- If you want a quick 20-minute oil change, this is not the place. They are not going to handle your oil change and this is it. They will make you sit in the waiting area for hours while they rip your car apart looking for things they can charge you for. When it is time for your "oil change" to be done, they will walk you back in the back, give you this very serious speech about how your tires have low tread and your car is out of line, and you also need new shocks.

I go in for a 29.00 oil change and they actually write up an estimate for over 1,000.00 of work!! They are such sales rats, not mechanics. They must think I looked stupid. But maybe I was, because they pulled this stunt on me every time I came in for an oil change. At the time, there wasn't a closer place for me to go, so I had to endure this. Now I go somewhere else. But be aware, this is their standard procedure.

Alignment-No Inspection?
By -

ZEPHYRHILLS,FL -- My son that is 17 went to have his oil changed and have a front end alignment done. He took the 3 year plan as they gave him a discount as the store has just opened. And the Grand Opening has yet to happen so they want to drum up business. Now when his car was finished, he noticed his car no longer pulled to the left but wandered, like there was no center to his steering. He took it back to have it looked at, they said it was the Rack and Pinion bushings and would cost $275. I went through the roof and they dropped the price to $90. Hmm... Now I start asking for an explanation as to why the car passed inspection while the alignment was done.

The explanation was there was no inspection done. So, a car with 120,000 miles and is approaching 14 years old does not qualify to inspect the components of the front end? After they had fixed the problem ($20 in parts and 15 minutes of labor) and realigned the car, I asked for a name and the corporate phone number. The manager became enraged and tossed the keys at me and said he will take care of the bill, would not step outside with me after being offered, or would he give me that name or phone number. I guess I was one of the lucky ones here. Took a LOT of complaining though...
