WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- Do Not Buy this product

First you will ask for one TOBI and they will sent you 2 then to return the second one you have to wait for them to send you a shipping ticket. We sent it off in June 2007 it is known Feb 08 and they said they never received the product.

Then are first TOBI broke so we called and they told us that they would ship us another one out so we thought great we had to pay shipping again which is crazy but we did it. So we wait and wait I call several times and every time they tell me its in shipping process well Jan 30, 2008 I called again and they haven't shipped it due to my credit card, so I call my cc company they say my card is fine and they have not received any transaction from that company. So we keep on trying to contact the headquarters but no response.

So if you buy this product expect 2 if you only order 1 & if something happens to your TOBI it will take forever to receive your product.

I have been dealing with the Tobi USA customer service department for months! Finally, I took the time necessary to track down the corporate office to resolve my problems (I too ordered 1 steamer, and received and was charged for two). My issues were resolved in one (albeit long) afternoon. Contact Helen Crutchfield with Sylmark Group. She can be reached at 323-202-1506 or She is the assistant to Peter Spiegel, who is one of the founders of Sylmark.

4/15/08 This company is running a scam. I ordered one(12/28/07) and five days later received a second one. After hours on hold over several days I finally reached a human being. He tried to convince me to keep the second Tobi and I would receive a $20 rebate.I declined, and was told to return it and I would be refunded all but their shipping charge. I wanted the shipping charge refunded also because I never asked them to ship the second one.It is now 4/15/08 and I still do not have my refund. As of this AM the cust serv rep said my refund was canceled because I waited more than 60 days to return the Tobi!!When I told her I had proof(post office receipt) that it was less than 30 days, she said she would re-process the refund and I should receive the refund in 7-10 days.Right!
If I do not have the credit by then, I will take the action of "Frustrated Tobi Customer".

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA -- On 11/15/2007 I ordered ONE Tobi Steamer, which should have cost 159.87 with priority shipping and handling. The next day while checking my bank statement I noticed that my account had been charged an extra 29.95. I immediately called this company to find what the extra charge was. I was informed that I had ordered one that I paid for in full and then they claimed I had ordered one by payments.I informed them that I did not order one by payments and asked them to correct this problem. I was told that it was already shipped out and there was nothing I could do but refuse delivery one when it arrived. Over the next three and a half weeks I made several more inquires as to where the product was, and during one of these phone calls I was informed by the company's representative that this was a common problem of late because the website I ordered the product from had somehow had an invisible check mark in the payment box. For example if I had ordered three I would have received four with one on payments.

when we received the product, four weeks later, they came in the regular mail packaged in the same box allowing me no chance to refuse delivery. Several phone calls later we were informed they would send us a shipping label and stop charging our account. As to this date we have received no label and they have continued to charge our account. All together we we called this company TWELVE times and sent FIVE e-mails (and got no reply) not once did anybody actually try to help us.

In my opinion the executives of this company are trying to double their sales by committing fraud on unsuspecting consumers, and charging ten dollars for express delivery and sending it in the US Mail. I would never do business with this company again.

Did you by chance enter a "1" in the "Select Quantity" box? If so, that is for how many ADDITIONAL units you wanted.

I will grant you, it is sneaky. But that is how many websites trap people. You MUST pay VERY close attention to what is on the pages of a website order form. Be sure what EACH button, number, and block does.

Why haven't you instructed your bank to stop payment on these charges?
. We needed to wait intil Christmas was over and all things had cleared. Our account has been set up for some direct payments so we had to contact a lot of different companies. Also the company had told us two different times that they would stop the charge but never did.

For some reason, I initially got 4 Tobi's instead of the one I ordered. (I took close-up pictures of the boxes, then sent them all on their way, "refused." I called a rep, Mr. Torres, to let the business know, and he said I'd be getting my money (the $69.88 and $239.72 withdrawn from my bank account) back as soon as the items were received by Tobi. Instead, I got yet another one in the mail, which I also wrote "refused" on, took a picture of, and sent off in the mail. Instead of a refund, on 01-29 I got a $29.95 and $119.80 withdrawn from my bank. What a scam. TOBI USA CANNOT BE TRUSTED! The product is supposed to be overpriced garbage anyway. We'll see what happens.

Do not buy from this company. They are scam artists. I returned my steamer and they never gave my money back. They just give you lies about receiving you money back any day, just wait. Do not trust them. They will not give you there address in the United States or the telephone number to their headquarters. What does that tell you. They are designed to hide.

These guys are very slick and hide behind blocked domains, PO Boxes and multiple loactions. They are hiding because they provide such a poor product and customer service.

Buyers Beware.
