CROSSVILLE, TENNESSEE -- Toys R Us will bill twice when Items ship separately. I placed an order for less than 100.00 dollars, and the following few days I had different charges showing up in my bank account as each item shipped at different times. When I spoke with Toys R Us they said the initial payment of 99.81 was just a hold on the account and that each item will be billed as it is shipped. Although it does not tell you this when you are making the purchase, I was informed that somewhere in the depths of the Toys R Us Website this policy exist. I only use this checking account for online purchases, so therefore I only had the money in the account to cover the purchase items, not twice as much as the purchase items. When you call customer service they just tell you that the hold will not come off the account until the last item is shipped. WELL YOU GOT IT THE LAST ITEM HAS NOT SHIPPED, and now my account has been hit with four different shipping bills including the initial total payment I made when I purchased the items. My account is in the red since I only use the account for specific purchases and the supposed hold won't drop off my account until last item ships, I have paid now more for the toys in nsf fees than the toys cost me. This is a terrible company for online purchases. I just want people to be aware to have twice as much in your account if you are planning on shopping with Toys R Us this holiday season.1 Replies - Latest reply on 11/28/2013Add reply
ONLINE ORDERING, NEW YORK -- Ordered baby bottles on line, my account was charged three times, Luckily my bank cancelled two of the transactions, paid $29.00 for express shipping on November 6, 2013, today is November 12, and still no delivery. The worst customer service does not even explain my week of misery from this company, they are rude, degrading and thieves. This order was cancelled on Friday, November 8, 2013 and they charged my account again on Monday November 11, 2013. After calling the corporate number I was assured the order was cancelled on Friday, so why in the #$%# is my account for the fourth time getting hit????? When I asked for the Corporate phone number I was told by one of their representatives that they did not have that number, I had to find the number through research. This went on and on for most of last week and now this week so far. Ordering or canceling online should not be this difficult. What is wrong with this company?
Today, November 12, 2013 I was told I would get a call back before the end of the business day and never did so tomorrow I will call yet again here we go again....what a nightmare!!!!!

QUEENS, NEW YORK -- This product was the worst item I've ever bought in my life. It is not worth a cent. Toys R Us should receive a penalty for selling such a high priced product and such low functionality. My son just used it once and the input plug turned out defective. I purchased 2 of them & they both have been exchanged after over 3 months. If only they would have the decency to refund the money back or a similar amount.

Horrible Horrible Company & service! Never Again!
I purchased 20 cans of formula, they were all dented and the rotted milk all over the box. I called them over a month ago to let them know and they keep telling me a refund should show in my account from 3-5 business days. I keep calling them every week and nothing gets done. MILLSTONE, NEW JERSEY -- Toys R Us has been and still is offering great deals on "Nerf" products. Based on these prices I placed my Holiday Order's through the Toys R Us website the first week of December 2012. All of the items I ordered were listed as "In-Stock" and were said to be delivered before Christmas.

I am now (less than a week before Christmas) getting emails from Toys R Us indicating that they have cancelled some of my items, saying they are "Unavailable".
I went online to order these items elsewhere, only to discover the prices were (in some cases) over $100 more than what Toys R Us was (Is) advertising them for!!!
I will never order from Toys R Us again.

1) Babies R Us quietly expired my baby daughter's gift card after 1 year, even though the card has no expiration date. They tried to take away my baby daughter's present, instead of letting her use it.
2) Even though car seats are not supposed to be used past 6 years after they are built, Babies R Us sells seats that are 1 1/2 years old as new. That means that you lose 25% of the useful life of the seat. Both my local store and the Babies R Us Website sell models from the spring of 2011, even though it is now the end of 2012. The 2012 models that they should be selling, have new safety features that the old ones don't.
3) I called Babies R Us over an hour ago to complain, and am still on hold. They obviously don't care about their customers.

NORTH CAROLINA -- The item arrived in a damaged box from Fed X, it was clear it had been previously opened, when we opened it the item was very flimsy - product not as advertised, multiple missing parts - Never order Folding Slide (for toddlers). Hassle Free Return is a joke - calling customer service, working online and finally taking the item to the store for only a refund for the damaged item, lost as much on the shipping. Will never again order any item online from Toys R US. I am out the shipping costs and lots of time and frustration.Add reply
