ONLINE -- I called to edit the info on a flight reservation I had made on Travelocity. I called the customer service number posted on their web site, 1-888-872-8356, as there was no on-line option to change the info I needed to change, and was on hold for over 2 1/2 hours to speak with a customer service rep, they never did answer the phone. In my humble opinion, they shouldn't even have a customer service number. It is worthless and has no value for customers looking to speak with a person from Travelocity, who do I charge for my time waiting to speak with a customer service representative that never answered?? My time is worth more than what I paid for the ticket.Add reply
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I made a mistake on booking an airline ticket with Travelocity and immediately caught it and contacted their Customer Service Department. The airline travel agent told me "no problem, we'll cancel that one out and issue you a new travel id itinerary." One month later, no one will correct this, they double charged my credit card for "an extra round trip ticket, and they flat out lie that someone will contact me back." I'm on my 10th call to them, on hold now for 1 hour, and no one wants to handle this. Thanks to this experience, I WILL NOW ONLY BOOK DIRECTLY WITH AN AIRLINE AND WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN USE A MIDDLEMAN! Trust me, this company is BY FAR THE WORST TO DEAL with if/when there is a problem for them to admit and take responsibility! They only want your money and want you to call the airline directly whom of course, will tell you to contact "TRAVELOCITY" since they booked it in the first place! HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Warning: Do not book with Travelocity. They are horrible they will not rebook your flight if you canceled for reasons not of your own. Please please please!!!!! You will lose your money. They told me I could fly to my destination but could not fly back. Stupid ******* you are throwing your money away do not deal with them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! 5 hours on the phone after they made the error. Hung up on 4 TIMES. They set the wrong date then said it was their fault but they wouldn't fix it. No compassion. Horrible. I will NEVER use Travelocity again! Add reply

I had a ticket canceled last year, attempted to use my $409 credit for a ticket for the holidays this year, they informed me that as per "policy",the credit had expired and I lost all my money. NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- - Got my flight changed in Casablanca coming back to NY.
- Live in Seattle and had a layover in NY and flight next day from JFK back to Sea-Tac.
- Spend the entire afternoon in Casablanca trying to change flight and hotel checking in date.
- They hire "idiots and the most stupid" humans available to head their customer service.
- It was so awful that finally gave up, called my brother in US to try doing something from that end.
