No response re cancellation

Be very careful if considering joining up with TV writers vault, their site is very easy to sign up with, but very difficult to cancel a membership, I have even sent emails to them asking them to cancel my membership, but have received no reply, they also do not display a telephone number, stating that all correspondence should be via email due to the large amount of traffic they receive. They ndo not warn you that a payment is about to come out of your account until it has already taken place, so beware....

Thank you for sharing. You'll save people money.

Note: This company is not really an "internet service provider." ISPs are companies who provide internet access.

This company supposedly sells services to screenwriters over the internet. M3C doesn't have a category that fits this.

They need to add more categories.

Agree with this complaint. On tvwritersvault.com, you can't cancel your subscription online. You can't call them, and they don't respond to email. Do not user their service until they change. Good idea, fraudulent execution.

Plus, nobody reviewed my ideas. Even if my ideas are terrible (which they are not) I would expect some no thanks clicks at least.

I have emailed directly to the owner with no response. They tell you they get so many calls(probably from folks who want to cancel)that you must go directly to paypal to cancel with them. They are a joke

Calling your A.G. Is a great idea. Also go to the BBB and file a complaint about this con artist. Lastly, question PayPal about their association with a dirty company and owner.

At the site, there are explicit instructions and direct link to cancel any billing at www.paypal.com instantly, from the user side. We respond to all queries regarding billing, and we might suspect that our response isn't being received, or the person isn't following the instructions at the site in their own user area. All biling is done by paypal, and we have zero access to anyone's credit card information. We cannot and do not "force-charge" or create any billing. Its all done on the user side.

If you have any issues with your account as it relates to membership or account activity, please email anytime at scott at tv writers vault dot com . I caution people publishing reviews to use the certain words that, being falsifiable by us, are actionable by law. We're a fully legitimate business, and we've connected hundreds with Producers, provided thousands of official reviews of projects by producers, facilitated dozens of producing deals, and this year alone had two new series discovered at the site produced and broadcast globally on Discovery Channel, SyFy, A&E Australia, OLN, and others.

We welcome you to try our service, and hope that we can create a more productive and positive experience for you.

TV Writer's Vault a scam!
Posted by SCVGirl77 on 09/05/2011
The owner of TV Writer's Vault & TV Film Rights, fraudulently took money from my bank account once he got my account number. I paid $249 for a yearly subscription upfront, but he also took $39.95 monthly for a monthly subscription. I repeatedly tried to cancel the monthly charges for TV Writer's Vault, but was unable to because when I called (SEVERAL TIMES) all I ever got was a recording, and never got a response from the messages that I left. The address is actually a rented postal box in San Diego.

I paid $35 for a one time fee to TV Film Rights and was instead charged $35 three consecutive times on that same day, so I was instead charged $105 dollars instead of the $35. When I called TV Film Rights to discuss this error, the phone number was not legitimate and neither was the address. This wrong info was also given to PayPal, which means they have to work harder to investigate this and other fraud claims against him.

He has an "F" rating with the BBB and a very rating with the Internet Trade Bureau. If anyone is interested in joining us in the pursuit against this scammer, please contact me at my Email: SCVGirl77@gmail.com.

I hope that isn't a personal e-mail. That invites spammers and the like. You may want to get a free consultattion with an attorney to see if you can make a case before you tackle something like this yourself. Make a complaint with the California Dept. of Consumer Affairs, too, via http://www.dca.ca.gov/consumer/complaints.shtml

Your claim that we "fraudulently took money out of your bank account once they go the number" is an untrue claim and publishing that statement is Libelous, and falsifiable by us. We have ZERO access to anyone's credit card or banking information. You made purchases for use of services, and by record had received 29 different reviews of your two projects by Producers using our service. Further, we are not TV Film Rights.
Please cease the publishing of defamatory and libelous statements.

This company has completely ruined my green dot card and my online shopping experience forever.I tried to get my money refunded but because the company uses PayPal to block refunds it is near impossible this company has made many threats to me about calling lawyers when they know damn well if they weren't so far away from me I'd sue them in small claims court right away. My Advice is DO NOT do any transactions with this company. You are better off getting an entertainment agent or pitching your ideas yourself in L.A hope this information helps you out P.S ..Dear TV Writers Vault NO I WILL NOT TAKE THIS POST DOWN call ANY lawyer you want I would love to see you in court. This was my personal experience dealing with your company and I have the right to tell others about it.
