GARDENDALE, ALABAMA -- I got to Walmart on July 16th at 10:00 AM to get my tires balanced and rotated which I get free for life and a Oil Change for my VW bug which I use Synthetic Oil... There were not but 2 cars ahead of me... When I was going to check out they were charging me for tires rotated/balanced, 2 oil changes, and a LABOR Charge which I did not pay... My bill was only for the Oil change but the biggest problem I felt was that I walked out of Wal-mart at 2:30PM in the afternoon!!!!

I sit there for FOUR AND ONE HALF HOURS FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN IN THE LEAST MAYBE AN HOUR OR SO... I was not a very happy customer and I have used them every time for my service on my car and bought my tires at Wal-mart about a year ago... The service should be better and if you don't have enough employees you need to hire more...

MICHIGAN -- I took my 2001 Tahoe for a Oil change on the 6/2/2012, I noticed a billboard with a offer of Oil change and Fuel Injecter clean SPECIAL for only 40.00... the sign said that the fuel injector cleaning would make your vehicle idle smoothly and ride smoother. After the procedure my vehicle idled loudly and sounded like it was hesitating... which it did NOT do before procedure.

The very next day I returned to Walmart. The staff did not know what was wrong. They called manager **. The manager was RUDE, told me to drive it fast to clean out the injectors, that this has happened to him before. I asked for that in writing in case my vehicle does not get better and I need to sue Walmart. At this point he said he was no longer obligated to talk to me and didn't.

The staff ** the cashier and ** the technician both were friendly and tried to help me. ** the technician had to take his lunch break so he could come out and scan my vehicle and told me it was not firing on all cylinders. I am going to a Mechanic today. Walmart management does not care about the customers... My only means of transportation is damaged and no one cares... And they made sure I knew they did not care!!! If you want to avoid my stress do not go to Walmart for even an oil change. MY VEHICLE SOUNDS LIKE IT IS ABOUT TO DIE ANY MINUTE... AND IT RAN FINE BEFORE.

ENID, OKLAHOMA -- Took my fairly new pickup in to get an oil and filter change and the character changing the oil spilled oil all over the engine. I had to take it to the car wash and clean the entire engine compartment. Didn't complain although I should have. Took my almost new Mercury Mariner in to get an oil and filter change and guess what, they did it right... except for one thing. The mechanic had greasy feet and got it all over my carpet. A half day cleaning the carpet. They also advertise 49.99 for a fully synthetic oil change and it was $67.00. My opinion is they hire idiots in the automotive dept and I will never return.

TOMBALL, TEXAS -- Went to this Wal-Mart on Friday 5-11-2012, just wanted a simple oil change. They gave me more than that, spent 2 hours walking around the store, checking in 2 times with the automotive to see if my car was ready. I could see my car in the garage with the hood up. WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT and kept waiting, a total of 3 hours. When I finally asked got tired of waiting I asked about my car again. All I got was a blank stare and they did not know where my car was. Seems the bone head that was working on my car stripped my drain plug. Not only that they just rolled it into the parking lot and refused to fix it. NEVER NEVER AGAIN. TOMBALL, Texas WAl-Mart.

Oil change = Purchase another car
By -

GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- If you go here for service be prepared to purchase another car. I took my car for an oil change. After it started making noise I took it to a mechanic. They said I had less than 2 qts of oil and no leak. I spoke to my atty. He says these guys are big enough to not have to settle. They know it and they don't. I would be looking at a 3 year battle in court to get paid for a $4300 repair. I decided to buy a car and never buy anything (not even gum) from this place. I recommend you take your car and business somewhere else too.

Wal-Mart Lube Center- Castle Rock, CO- Car engine fire/smoke damage
By -

CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO -- Sept. 2010 I asked the Auto repair section manager of the captioned store if they did oil changes on Porsche vehicles. "Yes, all the time" was his reply so I had my wife take her Cayenne in for same. No problem. Then I took my 911 in with my own oil and filter and the mechanic neglected to drain the old oil and added 9 qts. of new oil which resulted in a huge engine smoke fire.

The car was towed by Wal-Mart to the closest Porsche dealership who bid over $12k to replace the damaged parts. Then to a second Porsche dealer who estimated over $8,000 to replace the damaged parts. Wal-Marts in-house claims management company now wants to offer only to clean the car and have the Porsche dealer service the oil change correctly.

Therefore, according to the EPA, PCA and related experts we have no choice but to retain legal representation after our car has been in the shop(s) for over two (2) months already. Don't kid yourself: The sole relationship of Wal-Marts "Claims Management" division is to stall, agitated and harass for a low settlement.

Vehicle Damage

WICHITA, KANSAS -- I took my 95 Fords Econoline van into a Wichita Wal Mart (E. Kellogg) on 4/30/8 for an oil change. When I went to pick it up it had a shattered side window. It is a disabled conversion van and requires an outsize window. There were shards of glass sticking around the edge. The seat was full of MANY small pieces of glass.

When I complained they said it was that way when I brought it in. I had mentioned my husband was very ill in the hospital The man they called in said I was "upset and tired" from my husband's illness and I hadn't noticed it. There is no way in the world I would not have noticed it. It was very obvious and traffic noises were very noticeable when I left as well as the wind blowing in. I called Bentonville twice, talked to a supervisor several times and a representatives from their insurance carrier.

They insist they have a film of it being broken when it came in. There is simply no way any film could be of my actual entry. I have a reliable witness who says the window was not broken when she came to work as an administrator where I was staying near my husband's hospital. There is something fishy going on somewhere. When I entered the van with my power chair I "parked" it by the back seat. There is no way I could have overlooked the glass in the seat. Signed, a very frustrated and angry disable senior citizen.

Oil Change

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- These guys are snakes. They left the air filter holder unattached, making the car stall at a low idle. This almost stranded my wife and baby on the freeway. They only admitted that when I insisted that they change the oil again because the engine light was coming on and the car was stalling. They damaged the bumper ($600-700) and refused to pay because the security camera didn't show the damaged as it happened. Their insurance agent admitted they only showed the car going into the bay, not coming out. That are liars, thieves and snakes. May they rot in hell.

BURLESON, TEXAS -- Per service order ** on 04-04-2013 at 2:43 pm I had my oil changed in my truck. I was the only one there. The only one! It took them till 3:54 pm to do this simple task. Their excuse was a man went to lunch. The store manager had a " firewall" in place and all I got was a runaround and 10 more wasted minutes. Again, no customers were there and a truck came in way after me and he almost got 4 new tires installed before my 10 minute oil change.
