OCALA, FLORIDA -- I was at the register getting ready to pay and I had wine for Christmas. Me and my boyfriend were there together and we got in a fight at the register so he left. Well I go to show her my id for the wine and she said she had to see my boy friends. Well he clearly wasn't there with me anymore so I told her he left and she said she wouldn't let me buy the wine so I told her I would leave and come back by myself and buy the wine he then proceeded to tell me she was going to let my manager know and I was not going to get the wine even after leaving and coming back. Very rude. Mind you my boy friend is older than I am he's not underage or anything. This is the finally straw with Walmart's customer service I will no longer ever be a Walmart customer or anything!3 Replies - Latest reply on 12/28/2013Add reply
LINDON, UTAH -- I had a slow leak in my tire and every place around was closed so I tried Walmart and they were the only place open so I decided to get the flat fixed there.
I asked the man working if he would fix my tire and he said sure and that he would call me when it was finished so I could go shop around while I waited. I handed him the keys and then went to go get some shopping done, then after about an hour and still no call (and this should have taken 30 minutes tops honestly)
I finally went to see what was up and the guy did he just forgot to write down my number (you couldn't just page me? I was in that exact building -_-) and so then I asked if everything went well and if I was OK to take my car home. He then proceeded to tell me how he couldn't replace it because the car was too low and he couldn't get a jack under it, (honestly I could see that being realistic because my car sits extremely low but THEY SELL LOW PROFILE JACKS THAT WOULD FIT IN THE STORE) and so I sighed and said that was alright and asked for my keys but then while he was getting them he started telling me about how he heard my car going when he tried driving it up a ramp to get the tire up but it was grinding on the bottom of my car so he said he tried a few times to see if going faster would help him clear it but he said the sound was only worse each time.
Why the hell wouldn't you stop after the first time my car is scraping all of its weight across the bottom!? I didn't say anything and just rolled my eyes and groaned and took my keys and left. When I got in the car he had adjusted basically everything you can adjust from the seats, to she mirrors, to the temperature and so my car was a wreck when I got in it. I know that's not a huge deal, but what really bugged me was he was absolutely filthy when he got into my car and so it ruined my seats from the oil, my steering wheel was all slimy and sticky, my shift knob (I have it covered with a hackysack to make it pop just for fun) was completely ruined too and wet because of how much oil was on his hands and he broke the plastic side off my seat that has all the buttons to adjust it.
I had an hour of my time wasted, he scratched the paint off the bottom edges of my car, he ruined the inside of my car, and I didn't even get my tire fixed. I am likely going to try and get reimbursed for the damages caused to the bottom and insides (mostly the seat but the whole thing needs to be replaced now) of my car.
If you are planning to have something done with your car, don't get it done at Lindon Walmart! You'll regret it!
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I have never written a review on a store before, however; after the way Walmart.com handled my order. I could not leave this stone unturned. After reserving a Playstation 4 in August, I waited till the console came out which was mid November. when I ordered the console I was told that I will receive it close to launch or several weeks after. I was okay with that knowing that I could have placed the order much earlier to have an earlier date. However not knowing that when I put my credit card information in I had wrote the wrong expiration date …. Yes I am aware this is my own mistake, but are we not all human? this must have happened to a lot of people or has happened in the past I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one … anyway, Walmart does nothing to get in contact with me for my item. instead they cancel it and I'm out of luck. With such a high demand for this product now I'm out of a PS4 in the holidays for my son and Walmart could only apologize and not do anything about it … Billing never sent any e-mails or called me. They never made an attempt to get the correct information from me. WHY would they, they have plenty of other customers on line for the PS4.

So They kicked me to the curve and did no care one bit if I got it or not… Is that customer care? No type of procedure was in place to make sure the customer item was ship to them. I would not advise anyone to reserve a highly demanded product with them. I would buy elsewhere.
NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I tried to order a John Deere Gator for my grandson for Christmas. The order went through the approval process and was paid by Paypal. About 10 minutes later the order got declined because the same form of payment that I had used the previous week do not meet their security check. I had more than enough funds and always use Paypal. My daughter tried to order with her Paypal, regular credit card and her Christmas account and received the same message. After 10 hang up calls, I finally got through and was verbally told that IT was looking into the situation because no one was able to get the gator. I feel like it was just a misrepresentation of a sales item because when asked if they would notify those that tried to order when they got the situation cleared was instructed that they didn't know. Seems strange that 4 different methods of payment would be denied. I have used my Paypal with Walmart for several things the past few months and just a week before.1 Replies - Latest reply on 12/12/2013Add reply
LEEDS, ALABAMA -- Bought a can of family size Great Value chicken noodle soup. Found larvae when attempting to eat. The fine folks at Wal-Mart were contacted but couldn't be burdened with a reply (no inquiry as to lot number, date, etc). I guess you should check your canned goods? I'm not sure they care?
Leeds Walmart, Leeds, AL
I've since filed with the FDA (no response as of yet) and the USDA. Walmart deleted any mention of contaminated food posted on their Facebook page. Coincidentally, this did not invoke a response either.
My mother ate a bowl of this soup before I discovered the larvae. I hope no problems arise, but it's disgusting.
I placed an order on Thanksgiving night but the charge could not be approved, so the next morning the order was still in my cart so I placed the order....only once! Walmart shipped the order TWICE and charged my debit card TWICE. Fortunately I caught the charge to my bank account and avoided overdraft charges. I can't find anywhere to call to complain to Walmart about this - only an email through customer service. Meanwhile my bank account is $100 short due to them duplicating the order and charging me twice. THERE IS NO WHERE I CAN GO TO GET MY MONEY BACK NOW....I don't have time to wait for it.Add reply
. Of the many Wal-Mart that I have experienced across this country, this one is typical of vulgar Las Vegas society, , dirty, rude, low-class, obnoxious, loud, and generally disgusting. . From the trash strewed parking lot, through the cluttered, obstacle filled store to the bitter departure, I could only wish that I was in Kansas . 1 Replies - Latest reply on 12/07/2013Add reply
ONLINE, IDAHO -- I have tried 3 times to place this order and it has been canceled each time. I tried multiple cards that are all more than capable of making the purchase. In fact I have been doing most of my shopping online with these cards. I feel that Walmart is scamming people with this purchase because now there is a hold on $1400+ of my money until they fully cancel the attempted purchase. The customer care line 1-800-966-6546 lies about the hold time and once you do reach a person they cannot do anything to help you so it is pointless. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Shop somewhere else!!
I also submitted this to the company to no avail.
Your company sent an email that this order was canceled. I no longer wish to do business with your establishment. I am frustrated that the system is not able to validate my information, and when I voiced this concern I was told it would be "escalated". I have not heard anything back. My funds are still being held even though "Walmart was unable to verify" my payment method. I would like my funds release immediately. I will also be banning this establishment. I will no longer shop here, in person or online and will recommend that my friends and family do the same. Also I was able to find a better deal else where. I am sure that I will save money and frustration by taking my business where it is appreciated.
HUDSON, FLORIDA -- So I looked this tire up online, the Walmart site says it in stock. So go to the store here in Hudson FL, associate says to me we don't have that tire in stock. Show this number 0005134213025 to Walmart associate to find this item in your store. She didn't even know what it was. Then show her the size 205/55R16 she punches it in says we don't have it in stock. So look around the store for awhile get out my cell double check my info sure enough site says it in stock.
So go back to the tire center. Look around look up way up see my tire there six of them in stock on the shelf. So say to the lady that's the tire right there. I say get your manager, she does, people standing around waiting. So the tire shows up for like $115 on their computer. Say to the manager this is the tire I came for, show it to her on my cell for $58. There is like six people standing waiting. Low and behold my car is done with different tire after all they didn't have the tire in stock (RIGHT MY FOOT). So ended up buying tire for $69, management wouldn't even admit the error. So this guy in line about 50 or 60 shows me printout of the tire he is buying, he says next time bring in the printout. Guess that's what I have to do next time. Needless to say watch for the upsell at Walmart.
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS -- Today 11/28/2013 at 8:00pm, I was at Wal-Mart on Shackleford Road in Little Rock to purchase a Straight Talk $29 phone from the 8pm special. Associates told me that 48 wrist bands were handed out at 6pm and there was 48 phones in stock. Therefore, there were no phones for purchase at 8pm when the sale started because the 48 phones had been reserved at 6pm. I was told it was a corporate policy that wrist bands could be passed out this way. I am here to tell you the wrist bands were not advertised in the sale paper. I do not like this Wal-Mart Way!!!!!!!2 Replies - Latest reply on 11/29/2013Add reply
WALMART, ALABAMA -- The female who I dealt with was named Corina. Who has a very poor understanding of English by the way. After believing the problem was resolved, my husband who was 50 miles from anywhere stopped to get gas, only to find the card rejected. When he called to see what the problem was he learned that the dear Corina had frozen our card. While 50 miles from anything he was informed that they were sorry for the mistake and a new card was being sent. To the wrong to address none the less. And that it would be up to two days before a supervisor could be bothered to contact us. And that there was nothing they could . They couldn't transfer the money to another card nor could they reinstate the one they froze. They have cost us hundreds of dollars in late fees for bills and such but so sorry. They need to seriously get better employees and policies. It didn't take them weeks to make the mistake. But to fix it....Add reply

COPRORATE -- Walmart is a pathetic excuse for a company. They completely screwed up my pre-order for a PS4, and canceled it at the last minute due to THEIR mistake. After multiple lengthy conversations with their customer service department, and a long drawn out email battle, they admitted it was their fault, basically said "Oh well" and flat out said there's nothing they're going to do about it. Walmart is a ridiculous example of modern business practice, and is full of half wit, incompetent employees from the bottom all the way to the top.

What a joke. I will never shop at any of their stores again; nor will any member of my family. I will gladly pay more for any item at any other store rather than give them another penny of my money.

KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA -- Bought an air mattress. Would not hold air. Brought it back on the Tuesday after I bought it. At returns they pointed to a small sign posted on side of wall that states they will not give your money back once you open box no matter what. I told her how are we suppose to know that when there are no signs posted back in dept I bought it from! She said that is there policy and they refused to give me my money back. To top it off they did not have the one I bought so I now have to go to another one before the 15 day are up or they get my money and I get nothing.

Will NEVER buy anything at Walmarts again. This must be how the keep there cost down by ripping people off
PASADENA, TEXAS -- I purchase groceriers and other items from Walmart EVERY week and spend at least $200 a week there. I only use the price match for one item - grapes. Last week I took my grapes to the check-out with other items and was told we no longer price matches from 'these' local stores and the cashier had a list of them taped to the back of her badge. I asked the supervisor on duty if the store had notified customers with a sign or some type of notice and she did not have an answer. They will not miss my money but they should not have denied me a $4 break on grapes when I routinely purchase groceries and other items from their store. If a particular stores determines to CHANGE the Walmart corporate policies, they should at least have to notify customers with some type of grace period or posting in the store.
Instead, they SURPRISE you at the checkout counter and then, feel good at it, I guess. I believe that is an awful way to treat loyal customers. I am re-thinking my loyalty to Walmart because of the actions of this local store.
OMAHA, NEBRASKA -- I shop at Walmart all the time. As a single parent, it's easier because I can take all my ads to one store. My son can buy toys and I can save money on the gas I use in driving to all the stores and also save on food. Lately its just been a waste of my time because they have all the ifs and butts and exceptions that they never had in the past. I went to Walmart today and made 3 trips to the cashier and time and time again, I had to stand on long lines waiting. I took a gallon of milk to the register to do a price match and the cashier said they don't do it on Walmart brand, I went back and got another milk and without looking at the ad in my hand, the other cashier said its not the right milk, this time I was annoyed and frustrated plus I have some chicken and ice cream that could go bad from walking back and forth.

On the 3rd try, once again, waiting on a long line, the cashier said that's the wrong milk, then I asked which milk I should be getting and the cashier said Walmart does not carry the milk I was looking for, I asked how she knew and she said the milk was a bakers/Kroger brand and I looked at the ad and it dawned on me that instead of the cashiers to be specific that they do not price match bakers milk, they kept saying that's the wrong milk.
It's pathetic, I had to go to bakers, I could have saved my time and gas by going straight to the bakers and getting everything I needed in the first place.
