Had deal with Wells Fargo. They messed up. blamed me. Tried to fix it. Everyone talked to at Wells Fargo listened to themselves and invented excuses and blamed me, my bank, and the Post Office. My bank and the Post Office work fine with the other businesses I do business with. Wells Fargo has the problem. Wells Fargo is the bank from Hell! 2 Replies - Latest reply on 08/07/2013Add reply
OHIO -- I do not believe Wells Fargo does anything by mistake. Up front they act so willing to help. In refinancing they quickly strip whatever equity you may have built up to pay new fiancing cost, but then disappear. No matter how much good credit lines you may have built up Wells Fargo ignores everything as long as possible so they can continue to strip you of "YOUR" hard earned money so they can pad their already bulging wallets.

Wells Fargo is such a large entity they can go virtually unnoticed as they swindle one customer after another. Beware everyone, these people will find a way to legally empty your wallet. You have to register your e-mail to make a comment. Gee, wonder what mafia group will hit my doorstep after these comments.

All banks do not charge a cash deposit fee, but Wells Fargo do! It seems there is a charge for every business transaction. Wells Fargo has got to be very expensive for any business banking.

OREGON -- I banked with Wells Fargo ever since it took over First National, for years I was happy with their service for years but after Wachovia took over Wells Fargo and used their name, They started trying to sell the programs and extra accounts all was pushing some gimmick or other. They treat their employees in the worst possible ways. If a employee doesn't sell enough on any given day they get chastised and made to call people way into the evening, like telemarketers. They used to call me when I was a member until I demanded that they stop calling me. It is normal to drive by Wells Fargo after 7:00 at night and see employees still at work. So don't go to work for Wells Fargo and don't bank with them unless you like having them try to sell you something all the time.2 Replies - Latest reply on 05/20/2012Add reply

LITHONIA, GEORGIA -- I have wired internationally from this bank several times, and each time it is as if I am a teacher asking for a student to come to the board to explain a point to the whole class. There is reluctance of staff to do wire transfer - they are scared. One staff member asked me what currency is the pound.

The other day I was assigned this rep, who from the beginning almost refused to do it, she was outright rude saying she needed more information than the one I had. I had all my information - swift, IBAN etc; she proceeded to give a form for me to fill in the information myself. I told her that is her job, she accuse me of not knowing what I was doing.
I asked to see another rep, who after much difficulty was able to do it. It is amazing, the printout receipt they give you, all the terms and instructions are spelled out at the back of the form, easy to understand and follow. Well, I guess they do not get these International bank transfers often, hence the nervousness around them.
Fraudulent overdraft fee!
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- Wells Fargo charged me a $35 overdraft fee for a withdrawal of $700. I made the withdrawal at the branch, so you'd think the teller would have informed me if I didn't have that much in my account! (I ... read full review4 Replies - Latest reply on 12/10/2011
ARIZONA -- I bought car from Wells Fargo in 2009 and was not given any thing to get a car tag. I had to get a lawyer to get the title, it took him 3 months to get the title. There was a total of 15 months to get it. They refused to be responsibility of their problem they caused. This has put me in a deep financial problem. Also they have been calling my house and cell phone many times a day and night. They mostly will not leave a message just keep hanging up. I know there is a lot of law suits on them. There are blogs everywhere.

I tried to resolve this problem with them but a women today named "M" said it was my responsibility to get the paper work. Now how can a consumer get the paper work when they won't supply it???????!!!!!!!!. Also I had been talking to a man named "C" and he was a brick wall as well. I hope that out freedom of speech will not be taken away along with everything else.

Tried Talking to customer service last night in reference to bill pay, ever since the merger of Wachovia with Wells Fargo I have been having problems paying my bills, instead of the checks going to the person or company Wells Fargo is sending the checks back to me, when I called I could not get any help, customer service was rude and they kept giving me numbers to call, I even spoke to a supervisor and no help, my last call was to a person who hanged up the phone on me. Time to change Bank.1 Replies - Latest reply on 09/08/2011Add reply
