INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- I go the White Castle on Michigan Rd and quite often there is a LONG wait there in their drive thru. But what's so annoying after waiting so long the burgers are semi warm and the top bun is always hard. I usually have to take the top bun off to eat my burger. I don't even like to feel it with my fingers. So this time I asked the girl when I get to the window, waiting as usual, if the could steam my top bun. Well got my food and the buns was cold but the onion rings was hot. Don't go to this one. Go to the one in Carmel or in Castleton area.
CINCINNATI -- When I went into White Castle today there was one person (maybe a customer) looking a picture on the wall, another customer standing at the counter who had been waited on. When I got to the counter the first thing I notice was how filthy the floor was in the cooking area. What was really shocking that the employees act as if it was business as usual.
I made a comment, "If that floor does not get address someone could be seriously injured." It appear to have grease covering most of the floor. On other hand if was water, it was too much and it is still a risk factor. This store was not busy at all. I don't understand why that floor was not been address. After leaving the store I decided to call and speak to the manager. What a waste of time. So I told her I will take my complaint to headquarter and I did. Safety first and appearance goes hand in hand.
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- Despite how terrible the food is, I decided to stop in after a long bus ride. This isn't about the food. It's about the unique and terrifying experience of eating fast food in America. After finishing my food and sitting down with a drink refill, a booming male voice informed us (the customers) the site is under video and audio surveillance. There is to be no loitering. People who just sat down with their food were told they must leave immediately or the police would appear. The announcer, who probably called in remotely, got a sick thrill from frightening everyone. Even the employees stood still in fear. I'm never eating at a hole like this again.
LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY -- Went through the drive through and asked to pull forward, waited 12 minutes before going inside to ask what the status of my order was. The employees were so busy flirting with each other and serving those behind me in line that they had forgotten about my order!!!
KENOSHA, WISCONSIN -- Visited White Castle yesterday. Only 3 cars in front of me. Took 20 minutes to get to window. I asked for 6 White Castles, hold the pickles. Instead I got twice the amount of pickles and double the onions. It was the worst burger ever. The onions slipped out onto my clothing and all over my new car. Disgusting. I won't be back for a very long time, if ever.
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- On 12/04/2013 time: 21:37:28 Batch and Reference: ** Authorization: ** - My family and I love White Castle and has been coming to this Restaurant for years to eat. Last month we ordered $27.00 worth of food. As I got to the window a team member had explained to my husband and I that any customer that spends over $25.00 in one transaction gets 2 gift cards, one for $25.00 that's reloadable and just a free $5.00 gift card if we add .50 with our order. We both agreed sure why not. Our total we spent in cash was $27.50 and the team member handed me 2 receipts. One for our meal and another showing $25.00 on one gift card and $5.00 gift card.
The bottom of that receipt says Card Activated Gift Trans Number: **! Now on the back of the 25.00 gift card it say's it's reloadable after first use and $5.00 gift card says it's valid and redeemable starting 01/01/2014 until 02/28/2014! With today being a holiday New Years Day, we thought it would be a great time to use these cards. My husband had try buying a 30 crave case box and 2 sacks of fries. When he gave the member the gift cards to pay for our order he said there was no funds on either card though we never spent it because we could not use it today. I know we did not misunderstand a thing the employee had said because there were 2 of us.
As a loyal customer and being a store manager in retail myself the customer is always right. Your employee did not explain the offer right and gave us a false advertisement or ripped us off. I'm not asking for reimbursement but it would be nice if they could make it right over some redeemable coupons or something. I'm so disgusted that someone could try to rip off 2 senior citizens and think it's OK to get away with it cause they think us older people are stupid and senile!
WHITEHALL, PENNSYLVANIA -- I had visited the White Castle on MacArthur Rd in Whitheall Pa on Nov 20 2011 and purchased $54.47 of food. When I got home some of the food was raw and uncooked so I called and spoke to a woman that took my name and order number a list of items that were raw and stated for me to come in to get the food replaced... Today Nov 27th I was passing by so I stopped to get the food and was giving the food without hesitation which made me a happy customer.
As I proceeded to my car in the parking lot I was chased down by a caucasian male who was yelling that he gave me the replacement food already last week and has my plate number down... I knew he was lying and when I approached him and confronted him he stated never mind and went back in the White Castle... So frustrated from the embarrassment from him yelling at me in front of all the people in the parking lot, I went back in the store to get his name and he and other workers refused to give me his name which I found out was **.
Then I was threatened by a caucasian woman that they were going to call the police... I then left the White Castle and called the police myself and got a incident number for the report... I just don't know why he lied like that. I am under the assumption that due to me being a hispanic minority, he didn't believe me and made up a lie to back up his accusations. I still have my receipt and if he gave me the food already and has my plate number, then me and my vehicle should be on their surveillance cameras which I am 150% sure its not... cause I was never there prior to today and the original date of purchase.
Please help me with any advice or measures to take to prevent this from happening to any other innocent customers. I have posted numerous reviews and also filed a complaint with BBB. I will be contacting the corporate office Monday morning as well. Thank you for listening and any help would be very much appreciated.
I'm a little puzzled by the White Castle System in the drive through. I placed my order and specifically asked for NO pickles on my sliders. So, the nice man taking my order asked me to confirm the order on the screen was correct and it WAS. So, when I get the sliders home guess what - you guessed it pickles. How can there be a flaw in such a ideal way of placing a drive through order. Oh well, even though I got it right they didn't. I never called the store to complain. This site is so much better.
FRESNO, RHODE ISLAND -- I received my pre-lit Ontario Spruce 7.5 ft. tree sooner than expected, that was good. Spent a long time fluffing it and there were still too many gaps. I grew up in Ontario and have always loved the look of those trees but the tree I received did not come close in color or shape to a spruce tree.
The spruce trees in Ontario are a silvery, bluish green - this one is very dark green in color. The tree tips are lifelike but are very short - so you see the rest of the branches that do not look natural. Also had a hard time getting it back into its box and was told when I called Tree Classic that I should have ordered a bag for storage. Duh - why wasn't I told that when I bought it? I would not recommend buying from this company...
4023 E. U.S. RT. 31, CLARKSVILLE / MERCHANT, INDIANA -- My order was taken and after 17 minutes in the line, I was asked to pull up to the crave parking and my order would be brought out to me. I Sat here for another 19 minutes and because I was going to be late for work, I finally went in the building myself and asked if I could either have my order or my money. The lady at the counter passed me on to the manager. She asked what my order was and I told her; she then asked the lady cooking and she said they were working. The manager told me they would be right up. I waited another 3 minutes before the order was handed to me.
The total time I spent waiting for the order was 39 minutes which caused me to be late for work. Because I was late I lost my perfect record for the quarter, this in turn lost me my quarterly bonus of $100.00. Am I pissed, hell yeah; and to top it off when I opened my order, I only had 1 piece of cheese on all my burgers, no mustard at all, and half of them had pickle. This only added insult to injury. Yes I want people to know that fast food drive throughs are not fast. The original design for drive throughs was to be convenient and fast for consumers. This is no longer true.
