STALLINGS, NORTH CAROLINA -- I, too, have purchased expired products (graham crackers, cereal, yogurt) from the store and mentioned it to the manager. He blamed it on the "stock boys." I'll shop where I know the food is fresh. Not to mention, Date Line had a BIG story on how Winn-Dixie covers "good if used by" dates on their meat products. If it gets too close to the expiration dates and their meats are not selling, it's been proven that they simply put new stickers on top with future dates on them. If you look at food with yellow sale sticker saying save $1, $2 etc... check the sell by date most of the time it's expired. These items are supposed to be removed off shelf. Not worth getting sick or food poisoning! Even packaged oysters! Prices are good bogo's, BUT ALWAYS CHECK DATES!
