Woody's Books suck
Posted by on
This is the worst service for ordering a book ever. I'm shocked that Amazon is associated with these people. I will review my ordering relationship with Amazon because of these people. They had no trouble taking their payment, but I'm still waiting for my book. After 8-10 emails I still keep getting their generic email and no resolution. No money and no book. Don't order from these people ...you will never get your order. Don't be fooled because you found them on Amazon. Amazon and Woody's...SHAME ON YOU!!!!

how long ago did you order? if you paid for standard delivery it can take up to 14 days to get your book. so it all depends on when you ordered it. if its only been a week you still have 7 days to go. after 16 days Amazon will take action, the seller has 2 business days to get the book out. I know I've been book seller on Amazon for 8 years. I also sell on Barnes & Noble, Biblio, Choosebooks and several other sites. all of them require that you wait for standard media mail to arrive first before they take any action. you should have a tracking number for the shipment, what does it say? if the seller did not use tracking, that is bad. and worth a feedback they did not provide any tracking. every book I sell has a tracking number on it and most good sellers in the book business also include tracking numbers. Amazon offers a 30 day no reason money back warranty. after 16 days no book, then get your money back from them.

Did you contact Amazon and let them know?

It would take a history of complaints for Amazon to act, I assume. Have you complained to Amazon? What is Woody's Books' rating (I assume Amazon has a ratings system)?

Purchased an item for an advertised price of $42 from Woodys Books via Barnes and Noble on Sunday. Purchase was confirmed by Woodys Books and Barnes and Noble on Monday. Monday afternoon received note from both that order was cancelled because item was no longer in stock. Later Monday night Woodys Books listed the kit on half.com for close to 30% more than advertised on Barnes and Noble. Asked seller for an explanation. No response.

Does It Again!

After reading about a complaint from an Amazon.com buyer, I had the same experience. The bookstore lists an item at a low price but tells you POLITELY they are "out of stock", then lists it at a higher price.

It's called Bait & Switch. Report it to your state attorney general, consumer protection division.

I had a very unpleasant experience with that merchant (woody-books) as well. I bought a book that never came. Luckily, Amazon stand in between and gave me a refund. But still you cannot be compensated for the time lost and wasted caused by that seller. The seller never did any communication with my emails. They donot have a phone line to contact to.

I hate Woody's Books with the white hot hatred of the burning sun. No email communication. It appears they are "drop shipping" a book to me that they never had in the first place. $110.00 and it's been over 3 weeks. They sent me an email with the wrong book title asking for my Amazon feedback. No idea if the right book was sent, when, from where. They are EVIL

Surprised Barnes & Noble thinks this kind of behavior is good for business. Will never order from them again.

This is an authorized seller for Barnes and Noble. after 2 weeks, still no book. BnN has no information for me, they don't track their sellers. 4-14 business days for shipping! they don't tell u that on the web site. This place sucks! still no book!

Order a book from whom I thought was Barns and Noble. Found out latter it was Woody's Books. was told my book was shipped to me on May 10th. Seven day latter no book and the website they give to contact them does not work. I'm trying to prepare for an exam. I will never use Woody's Book ever again.
