MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I want to do a shout out to all who are considering bringing their ideas to WPM. Do it. If you have an idea that is unique, if you want someone who you can trust your idea to and if you want to work with professionals who will do everything they can to professionally bring your idea to market, go to WPM.
I began my journey with WPM in the Fall of 2014. I had an idea that wouldn't let me sleep at night. I had to tell someone and see how to make it become a reality. It was so simple but so weird. It had to work! I researched different companies but none resonated with me until I found WPM. They not only are a one stop shop for inventors, they also do a tremendous amount of good in the world for children and veterans and many others. That was really important to me! I also was pretty impressed by their amazing Advisory Board.
My idea was a quirky little take on Big Foot I called Squatch on a Box. It was clear that my idea was odd, so odd that it was a bit out of place - different - goofy - but something about it's quirkiness got the attention of CEO Scott Cooper... It was July 2015 when I received a call from Scott. I was so excited to be able to finally speak with him and tell him my story. He was incredible to talk to, so full of energy and questions, lots of them. How did I come up with this, where did this come from, who was my competition, what was up with the box???
In a second conversation that followed two weeks later he offered me a licensing agreement to manufacture and market my idea. He loved the idea of these Squatch characters, and heard from me that I was open to other ways of doing this, not overly obsessed with my idea to the point of being closed to other suggestions. He wanted to drop the box. So... I said, 'Let's drop the box!' He is, after all, the one who knows what people want, what works, what doesn't, what's marketable, what makes fiscal sense...
He is the expert in this field, not me, so you bet I listened to him! (I still do). And that was the beginning of what I will say has been the most fun I have ever had in my life. Squatch on a Box has been transformed into our new product Squatch World (check out SquatchWorld.com). Same concept, unique Squatches with different personalities, all now packaged within an entirely different product. The website is still being completed but can be viewed if you would like to check out what we've been up to.
Scott and I are in communication almost daily now and it's been an amazing process of such incredible creativity and wow, amazing artistry and graphics for our plush line. The incredible talent they have at WPM is mind boggling. Every day is like a birthday for me, something new is created for me to see. It is understandable why SquatchWorld has taken a bit more time than most products brought to WPM. We spent countless hours with prototype after prototype until we finally got one we both loved.
Scott had the vision for a friendly approachable squatch for children and adults alike and was diligent to make it happen just the way he envisioned it. He has kept me involved very closely with the project since the very beginning. He is an amazing partner and strong perfectionist. I have tremendous respect for him. He is brutally honest, compassionate about bringing great products to market in the most dynamic way possible for his inventors, and has amazing vision, drive, the man never sleeps! I am honored to be a part of this amazing company.
My recommendation is this, when you bring your idea to WPM, keep an open mind and respect the experts there. Be open to the possibilities your concept might be able to morph into. Remember who the experts are and want nothing less than the best. Dreams can come true… And boy can they!
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- Well, World Patent Marketing contacted me and I was a skeptic at first, but after wpm agents kept calling and it was always someone different and courteous, but I just put them off for days. Yet... a different agent would call until I listened and wanted to know what type of monies was involved and I was assured that money was not a priority and rick ** finally called and asked me to describe my invention and its function and he said that he would have to discuss my invention with others and that he would get in touch with me inside a couple of days.
Mr. ** got in touch with me within one week and a half and explained that if he had called in two days that could mean that wpm would pass on representing me: but Mr. ** said that World Patent Marketing feels that my invention is an idea that they would like to work with and Mr. Neil ** called and mention that he was/is working with Mr. **. I like that these two men stay in touch with me and give me updates regarding different phases that my invention is going through and they have me pumped now.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I am so thankful for the entire team who have been involved in helping me to market and develop my invention! It is still early and there is a lot to learn. There hasn't been one step along the way where I haven't been supported and guided by World Patent Marketing's professional, incredibly friendly and inspiring staff. I'm so thankful for Mr. Paulo **, Ms. Siana **, and Mr. Yves **! I can't wait, and I look so forward to meeting Mr. Scott J. Cooper CEO & Creative Director of World Patent Marketing!
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- I was interested in finding out about doing something with one of my projects. I was contacted by Christopher **. He showed me a great deal of respect by taking me through the process as many times as needed until I fully understood the process. Once I fully understood each phase then we moved on to the next step until I was comfortable with what he had to offer. I closed the deal with Mr. ** feeling confident that the product I'm offering to your company is off to a strong start. Mr. ** is a true professional in his field and if I can give him a higher rating than 5 stars I would. Thanks for everything Christopher.
FLORIDA -- My boyfriend and I decided to look into patent companies and see what they think of our invention. We spoke with 4 or 5 different ones and made a decision to go with World Patent Marketing. I will be honest with you - I was a little worried at first. Not really knowing what we were getting into and especially not having the computer skills needed to correspond with such educated folks on a daily basis. If ever I was concerned and couldn't get in touch with which ever team I was trying to reach, I could always rely on Sergio **. He would make sure someone called me back and took care of my concerns.
I really should have been more patient because these folks are so very busy and I must have come across as I was their only client. They treated me like I was. It is one of the best decisions he and I ever made. A world of thanks goes out to the entire World Patent Marketing Team. We wouldn't trust any other company!
MIAMI, CALIFORNIA -- I have to say that I am just starting out with this company and have nothing but good things to say about the transaction thus far. My Rep Sherry from the onset was caring and considerate of my ideas and she also had some corrective criticism that I totally listened to and some of the things she said, I implemented while others I didn't. Don't believe the hype. Check out these folks IF you are really interested in getting ahead and having your inventions taken seriously and NOT taken to the bank and left for dead. You will not be sorry!
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Initially I was uneasy because this is a new experience for me and I did not know what to do. I shared this with my Project Manager Allan. He assured me that he would explain the patent process, walk me through step by step, answer all my questions and assist as needed. I have Windows 10 I didn't know how to print from my e-mail. He guided me through step by step. He is professional and knowledgeable about the patent process. He is very patient, pleasant and has excellent communication skills.
I highly recommend a Five Star Review for him, but he really deserves a Ten Star Review. When he told me someone else would contact me to continue the process I felt uneasy again but he assured me that I could contact him at any time as before. Thus far it has been an exciting experience. Thank You for your help.
My experience with Milena ** has been positive, pleasurable and motivating! It wasn't long after I had applied and received my provisional patent, that I received a call from a gentleman from W.P.M.. He informed me who he was and his intentions. I guess it was the next day that Milena first called. She went in depth about her and their company and their mission. First and foremost she took care of the non disclosure/privacy form. Which impressed me, because a friend had informed me to have that done before anything else. Which proved to me Milena's and her company's honesty.
They have bent over backwards since they evaluated my idea, to help me get it patented, and help fish lovers (like myself) catch more fish! They reduced my upfront cost by 300.00. I am looking forward to a long work relationship with Milena and W.P.M.
