T-Mobile Complaint - Extended Contract With No Order In The System...
I'm out of town in Houston, TX for Memorial Day weekend 2011 spending with family. I get a call from T-mobile on Sat. May 28th 2011 from (877)490-6652 at 1:10 pm in the afternoon. It's a T-Mobile promotion call and I’m the lucky one to take advantage of this offer. The lady said you are eligible for two upgrades on two lines, on these lines you can get the new 4gs phone, a $ 500 value phone for free and free shipping. Only pay $ 18 upgrade fee. We selected the colors, one was plum and black and other grey and black. I will have to extend a two year contract. I accepted. She said I will get an e-mail soon and get the phones by Friday June 3rd2011. Waited for the e-mail…till Wednesday June 1st 2011 no e-mail. Called the main customer service T-Mobile # they said no order. It got me worried. Then told her the number that had called me, she said its T-mobile promotion # for customers. So, she said to call them again. So, I called same day Wednesday June 1st.
The representative said I see no order, it’s a very overwhelming promotion, so wait till Friday June 3 or the following Monday. Now waited till Monday June 6th nothing, no e-mail. Called again the T-Mobile promotional number, still no order and if I forgot to mention my contract has been extended as of may 28th 2011. The representative apologies and said see no order for the phone. Now I can send you the phone. What happed to the phone call on sat. May 28th no record of it…but yet my contract is extended. I said I don’t want the phone or the contract, bring my contract to the previous state before May 28th 2011, he said cannot do it. This got me heated.
Okay, I get a call, a family lady is waiting downstairs for me over the Memorial Day weekend, and she left. I’m on the phone with T-mobile and then I get zero customer commitment and my contract extended. Please tell me if this fair.
