Sear Auto Center, Columbia, MD Complaint - Sear Auto Center Are Untrustworthy
I took my 2004 canary to Sears Auto Center at Columbia, MD for Brake Service recently. It took them 4 hours to replace my car's front brake rotors and pads and charged me $370. After I got the key, I tried to drive car home, I heard a loud and rattled sound from the front wheels immediately, I drove the car back to the Sears Auto Center and let them fix it, They take another one hour to fix it. At that time I thought my car should be ok. But I am totally wrong. When I tried to drive car home whenever I press brake, they brake squeaks and a strange sound "Ding..." coming from rear-brake. So I had to drive back to Auto Center. This time they argued that it is normal for new pads and rotor and let me to wait for a week for sound be quiet. But the strange sound and squeaks never become quite after a week. So I took the car to the Sears Auto Center again. This time they took road test and found the sound is coming rear brakes. I took another two hours to fix my cars and charged me $20 brake maintaining fee. Finally I thought the car should be ok. But this time the sound became quite but my steering wheel is suddenly not in right direct.
I brought this issue to the Sears Auto Center. They said that my car have alignment issue and asked my paid $79 to do alignment. Holy crab!
The Sears Auto Center totally lacks knowledge and skill. I doubt that they technicians have been certified. I will not bring my car to Sears again
